Soul calibur 4 has the most bullshit difficulty curve ever on the arcade mode, the fist fights are easy then you get to the apprentice and the the game says "******** you" and rapes you a** for fifteen minuets.

That's what I hated about DOA4.
You're 2 fights in and the game decides to go Insane on you.
It wouldn't be so bad if the AI wasn't inhumanly precise on countering the 1st move in a combo when you just do something random and not the same trick over and over.
Seriously, you hold down and the AI guy will do a low block before you even do anything while you're still on the floor. And that's just 1 gripe.
