(Oh. Well, that makes it easier, I guess.) Samurai shrugged. (...maybe you could come with me next time, and we could train together?)
I continued watching the pair wordlessly. They seemed to be carrying on a conversation. I was starting to get an idea of what was going on between the two, though.

Chinami laughed lightly at Samurai's interpretation of a Pokemon's power of potential. [I suppose it is rather convenient, though we can fall out of practice, regardless. Not using our skills often enough can leave them rusty, the same way humans can lose some of their talents if they don't practice using them.] She explained as she took her Scalchops and replaced them on her obi.
Walking over to the rock she'd been using as a target, she examined it closely before taking a horse stance. She reared back with her right paw and it took on a dark red aura before she slammed it home on the stone, using Rock Smash to reduce it to rubble. [That felt good.] She told herself, flexing her paw as the dull ache of punching through stone settled in.

Samurai rubbed the back of his neck. He felt the shockwave from Rock Smash... and it reminded him of his Revenge technique. Her response to the energy discharge sounded familiar, too. (Huh... well, you've probably got a lot of strength over me, anyway.) he said slightly dejectedly.

Having "Borrowed" a length of cloth to keep his arm from just hanging at his side, Twelve would walk on outside. His walk was uneven, and was much more of a limp than anything else. None the less, he looked determined and bitter. Wasn't long before he noticed two other Otter pokemon. Some part of him was jealous of them, even angry!! why'd they get to... to... geez! Twelve didn't know what he was even angry about! (What's up with you two?) he'd shout over to them.

Chinami chuckled lightly to herself. [How about I try and fix that next time you go training? I'll teach you a few tricks for getting strong fast.] she offered to her previous evolution.
At the sound of Twelve's call, the Dewott looked over at him. [I was doing a bit of training, and this little one is keeping me company.] She explained, then noticed the makeshift sling on his arm. [What happened to you? Never thought I'd see a Dewott hurt so badly.]

(Yeah, I'd like that. I'm sure you've got a lot to teach.)
I noticed the third, damaged pokemon appear about the same time as Samurai did. (Hey, Twelve! Long time no see. We were just... whoa, what happened to you?)

Krystal sighed a little bit, walking a random path around HQ. She hadn't been doing much of anything. Ever since they came back from that mission, at least that's what it had been called, Terashi had seemed to be making himself scarce. This lead the girl to think that maybe she had done something wrong. Maybe she had irritated him. Or maybe she had done something even worse. Either way, she was about to find out because Krystal was so lost in thought that she wasn't taking in her surroundings and ended up walking right into the blond guy.
"Sorry! I wasn't watching were I was going!"

Twelve made his way on over to the two of them. (I uh.. I got hit. Hit real hard.) he mumbled, (The long and short of it is: I'm retired or whatever Hawk said...) He looked around a bit, then refocused on the two. (So.. uh, don't let me distract you or anything. Keep on training.)

Chinami didn't seem to understand at first, and then it dawned on her. She remembered hearing that word before, back before her new human had gotten her. [How can he do that to you?! You'll recover soon enough and then you'll be right back out there and kicking butt again!] All traces of her normally calm demeanor were gone. How could that human even consider taking battling away from a Pokemon. And a Dewott at that. Battling was everything to most of them.

(Whoa, that really bites,) Samurai said while scratching his chin. (Chinami's right, though. You'll be back in fighting form in no time. I can understand giving you time to heal, but making you stop altogether... where's the sense in that?)
My observation of Samurai and his otter friends was interrupted by the floor kicking me in the stomach, or at least that's what it felt like at first. When I picked myself off the ground and looked behind me, I put two and two together. "Hey, there," I said to Krystal quietly, in the off-chance that the gathering group of Pokemon hadn't noticed me yet. "Been looking for you."
Samurai had noticed me, and watched me pick myself up to make sure I was alright, but that's as far as it went where he's concerned.

"Ugh, busy busy busy. What else is on the agenda?" Sub said as he walked into the main area, taking out his SNAG and tapping away on the touchscreen.

(.....) Twelve sighed, looking down. (I dunno... maybe.. I.. My arm won't move at all. I can't even feel it! How am I supposed to fight like this?) He'd stop for a moment and clear his throat. Now wasn't the time to have a break down! He.. he was supposed to be an inspiration! (S..So yeah, make sure you train hard so this doesn't.. doesn't.. you know..) He tried his best to put on a brave face for them. He didn't notice Terashi's fall, only due to him swimming about in his own muck.

Tsukicfelt weird. He was a veteran already. That was weird! He kept picturing himself as some rookie but he'd been I Snagem for quite a bit. Now there were new 'new people'. Sub looked busy so he'd leave him alone. The sad part was he neve got to actually know his fellow Snagems. Maggy, poked his cheek to say -Hey dummy, focus!- as he walked into a pole. "Crap!" Tsuki yelped falling flat in his butt. Times like these made him wish he was a Psychic Pokemon. Or hybrid for that matter. But the idea seemed... he didn't know.
He also wanted to finally challenge his brother. "Great Arceus and Mewtwo there's so much to do." he sighed simply.

He pocketed his SNAG for the time being as he approached the boy named Tsuki. "How have you been?" He asked.

"Watch your step," Chaos teased Tsuki jokingly. "Never know what you'll step on around here. Or into, for that matter."
