Manaphy-the Prince of the Sea...in Toys R Us?

any of my pokemon, with the exception of blissey, could outrun, and most likely 1HKO a manaphy. it almost made you lose. some people may disagree, but that is my opinion.

why does anyone make a big deal about this? I mean, manaphy sucks, nobdy wants t use it competetively, what is it good for, fooling around with dittos and making pokemon that don't even evolve into itself?

no one wants to use it competetively,huh?Well,I'll have you know that when the I went to the Game Stop tournament,one of my opponents used it on me.It almost made lose in the semi-finals.So,Manaphy DOESN'T suck.

Maybe you just sucked?

I never looked into Manaphy at all, so I wouldnt know.

But manapy's base stat in everything is 100, which is pretty good. I doubt a non supereffective move would OHKO it.

how many people put IV's and Evs into special defense and defense on a manaphy. I am pretty sure it would be 1HKO'ed without that boost.

My sweepers can survive non supereffective attacks with defenses from 70-95. >_>

really.....mine can't. What sweepers are survivng that kind of hit? and what is giving them the hits? that all comes into play here.

Well just off the top of my head... I know garchomp can survive a lot, like a stab close combat, etc. Electivire can take a starmie psychic... Infernape can take extreme speed, thunderbolt... And milotic with 79 base defense can survive a stab earthquake with yellow health.

Lol you god forsaken n00bs. Manaphy is an UBER. It can wall/sweep very well. All it takes is one of your supporters to set up an 8 turn rain dance via damp rock, then manaphy can rest, and heal it's status effect the same turn.

It also has Tail Glow which = nasty plot, so it can sweep. Not to mention you can't really 1HKO it if it has a bulky EV spread since it has base stats 100 in everything, which allows it to also outrun many things. Also, its special sweeping movepool is decent as well.

Yeah. Manaphy actually performs better in ubers than it does in OU because of Kyogre's drizzle ability.

no,I don't suck.I just had slower Pokémon that were ground types(luckily,my Groudon killed it.In tournaments,I always pull out my best Pokémon last)

you use ubers........build a real team, ubers suck and nobody will paly with you competetively.
