(Hanzo Hattori, 'Devil Hanzo', was a real person, one of the three great ninja clan leaders in the ninja wars. Fuma Kotaro is another name you should be familiar with. And perhaps, if you know your ninja history.... Sarutobi Sasuke?)

Hanzo smiled. "Shouta, you are as amusing as I have been told you were. Indeed, I request your aid. We have hired several other Ronin as well, as you may or may not be aware of. We need you to work with them to make a full-frontal assault on the Fuma clansmen at their fortress in the mountains. You are the most qualified of the lot, so you will be acting as general for these forces. Win or lose, you are just a distraction so that I may use my clansmen to destroy their forces from the inside. Are you up to the task?"
Shouta smiled as well. "That depends. How much does it pay?"
"$50,000. Enough to keep you in sake for the rest of your life."
Shouta chuckled. "Either set for life or slaughtered horribly... I like those odds. You can count me in, Hanzo-dono."
They shook hands and went to the Iga clansmen's hideout, to prepare for tomorrow's... ahem... festivities.
