I really don't know, but I still haven't broken him of it. rolleyes

I had problems with Heckler & Koch for awhile. sweatdrop

Is it Kothe or Kotch?

Or neither?

I just say "HK" because I don't know.

Germans say "c**k" (pretty much, it is difficult to express how to say -ch in words) because they can get away with it.

Americans say "coke" because they are weirded out by saying "c**k."

Both are acceptable.

*edit* I'm totally retarded. It just occurred to me I'd been pronouncing that word incorrectly referring to cooks...god, maybe this'll get better after 102. ><

I'm shocked no one has cited the possibility of an imported Browning Hi-Power. There were tons of those in the armies of the world. In fact, some of the post WWII production was far better than the new civilian guns you pay way too much for these days.

And while some folks look down on the 9MM, I'm quite happy knowing I would have 13 rounds in the mag and one ready to go.

The Bulgarian Mak is a super gun. Very concealable and every one I have fired has been super smooth. Hornady makes a nice round for it but its not cheap. I can get the box and give you the speed and weight if you want. They're in the basement. Drop me a note if you want the info.

Personally I would outfit my crew with 1911's. The ammo is plentiful and the guns are tough. They don't kick much and you can conceal them. And you can take one down fast to clean it. The Springfield Mil spec is pretty reasonably priced and you can tart it up if you want. Good miltary holsters are cheap for them too. I personally like a flap on a holster.

Would it be difficult to attain one of those in real life? I've been wanting a Hi-Power. I like all-steel nines.

A private sale or gun show would be your best bet. Keep you eyes open. Most surplus resellers know exactly what they have and will charge premium prices for good examples.
