Normally Evire uses Ice Punch vs. Dragons, and their defenses are normally very close to one another, you want the higher attacking power. Also, you probably won't keep him in vs. a ground wall, ((Hippowdon > Electivire))

I know that dragons are very close together, teams usually have better Dragon counters though, Electvire gets beat out by alot of dragons without motor drive and Garchomp has EQ which will take care of Electire before it has a chance to do anything, so I can see my bro's point, despite the dragon issue.

The only good IV guys I have are the ones I use to battle with.

That's interesting do clones from GTS count? They're considered legit apparently or that's what I've been told. If so I have a Typhlosion and Yanmega IV bred to atleast decent IVs.
The exact IVs I'm unsure of, but the Typhlosion is EV'd 252 Speed and Sp. Atk 6 HP timid nature, with IVs of 29 Sp Atk and 31 Speed that I know of the Yanmega has the same EV distribution with 31s in both Speed and Sp Atk. Unfortunately they're both level 100 since I've used them in free battle tournies they needed to be leveled up. I also have a hasty shiny Gobat and a Impish shiny Victreebel the Victreebel is trained to 70 something with EVs the same as Typhlosion and Yanmega.

Cloning is considered the equalizer of people using pokesav - if you make 1 super awesome pokemon, you can clone it, trade for other super awesome ones, then clone those, rinse and repeat.
