Well anyways, I know that base stats of all legends aren't as high as those of some over-used Pokemon, but for some reason, legendaries don't strike me as the kind of Pokemon to use in a battle. I'm not saying that they can't be used, but it's what Luther said for this tournament. I honestly didn't know that many people depended legends though.

Legendarys are perfectly normal to be used in battle as long as you dont use Ubers (unless you play in Ubers field)

It all depends on what the battle rules are. If he does want to ban legends then he can.
I've known about the base-stat thingie blah blah blah, but I guess it was moves and stuff too. I don't really know.

I don't see why people depend on Ubers and Legendaries either. Yes, they are fun to use now and then, but using the strongest like them all the time gets really old really fast. If you honestly need the handicap that badly then maybe I will allow just one. I still don't see the point, but whatever...

NOBODY SAID ANYTHING ABOUT USING UBERS!!!!!!!

Using legendaries that ARE NOT UBER does not make you any more or less of a battler, keep in mind it is just a game.

Of course no one said anything about using Ubers. I threw them in to include something to the general public about how they are both commonly used. So pipe down. I personally do not think Legendaries are nessicary for victories. However, there are so many people using them now-a-days there are becoming a must themselves.

Yeah. No legends and no ubers is the way to go in my opionion.
I don't think a legendary Pokemon should hold your team completely together either way [be a big part of it.]

Oh yeah. I've seen people pawn with things like Furrets and Floatzels. If you can make good things out of those, then you can make good things out of anything. Besides, people use the same pokemon over and over so much things get rather boring. I also don't see what's the deal with alternating just one pokemon in your team.

Alternating as in changing the stats and movesets possible for a Pokemon?
And I think you mean that you don't support it.
Because they way you say it, it sounds like you think it's not big deal.

Actually, I have 4 legends on my team. And they are all OU. (test team anyway) You really have no arguement here. if anyone can make any pokemon good with training and the right team, why not prove that by allowing legends.

P.S. Just about every top battler here has 1 legend in their team and/or test team.

P.S.S. If you are tired of people using the same pokemon over and over, run a Borderline pokemon only tournament. Ou means "OVER USED" and that goes forl egendaries and regular pokemon alike.

That's partly the point. I would ban Garchomp too, but decided just to stop at Legendaries and Ubers. To eliminate things like Heatran and Suicune. Perhaps in the next tournament I host I will allow them, but as for this one, they get to sit on the sidelines and watch some other pokemon have their chance to shine.

PS: I honestly don't see why a top battler can't do without one of their pokemon, but, whatever. I'm not forcing anyone to enter this. I will, however, let people know what there will be times in their tournament where they have to choose who in their team has to be left behind, atleast for that round.
