yeah, i just read .hack/XXXX a while ago, and the whole cubia as a pc (as opposed to the monstrous growth in blackrose novels) is interesting, to say the least. It makes him a real person with feelings (yes, thats what pc's have) and they do a good job of integrating him into their psuedo retelling of the story
i approve of him (but dissaprove of the massive following he has gained)

I think Cubia had more potential than was revealed
in .hack//XXXX. His multiple personalities offsetting
his rather calm and kind demeanor, his desire to
understand human capabilities, eventhing about him
could have been exapanded into something more
round. I honestly wished XXX had continued while
G.U.+ slowly died into an abyss. I mean, how many
times can you see Haseo in a thong without finally
saying it is enough.
