Travis sighed. "Please stop beig awkward! I'm trying to start over!" he groaned, getting anoyed with her.

"Yessir," she nodded, polishing the bust of some old dude whose plaque she didn't bother to look at.

Travis sighed. "So, cant we have a normal conversation now?" he asked almost pleadingly. She seemed to want nothing to do with him.

She smiled a bit, "We can try." she replied softly.

"Okay." he smiled. "So... what do you like to do for fun?" he asked a little awkwardly.

"Um..." she tried to think of what she did do for fun. "Play..."

Travis smirked. "Err, play what?"

She blushed, "Games! Most of the people in my neighborhood are kids, so I play with them..."

Travis smiled at her. "ever played chess? I love it." he smiled.

"Chess?" she smiled, "Yeah, I've played."

"Really? Do you want to play? i have an awesome chess set in my room! Its made of marble." he grinned, grabbing her arm and pulling her into his room excitedly.

She blinked, not used to being dragged. "Eek!" she stumbled along, "Y-yeah, sure!"

Travis grinned as he sort of threw her into a chair to sit in while he grabbed the chees set from a shelf in his closet. "Black or white?" he asked.

"Black, " she replied.

Travis smiled. "Fine, i like white better anyways. And just to warn you, look at my trophy shelf. They are all from ches tournaments." he grinned. On the trophy shelves, there were over twenty cheess trophys.
