Hardly. I've seen people drop $900 on a tattoo. You have to realize that this is art, and they get paid by the hour. Some tattoos can take up to 8 hours a sitting.

That is the number one myth about tattoos. Do not believe that they hurt. It just feels like someone dragging a finger nail across your skin.
Except on the ribs. That hurts.

I have to agree with the Tri-edge tattoo on the back, that'd be pretty cool. And it's off topic, but I'd wat a triforce on the back of my hand like this

Edit: I just did this on paint, but it's what I would get. It's color coded to represent Power(top) Wisdom(left) and Courage(right). And it wouldn't be that poorly done... sweatdrop

A tattoo would be nice, but the risk of getting skin cancer is just to high for me. Plus it won't look good once you get old. Health risks aside, a Tri-edge tatoo would be pretty cool.
