Alice Marie Whitlock Anyone ever seen Cruel Intentions? Ryan Philleppe, played Sebastian Valmont... Him, opposite Sarah Michelle Gellar;  Him, opposite Reese Witherspoon;  At that age EXACTLY he would have been a GREAT Edward. :] This is him recently in a 2007 movie, Breach (I believe). He's much too old now... And maybe he isn't exactly what I pictured for Edward... But if you see Cruel Intentions... You'll understand my reasoning.  And if you HAVEN'T seen Cruel Intentions, go rent it. There are strong sexual themes... But overall, it's soooooo good. Reese Witherspoon is in it too.
Good movie, good actor, hot guy, he just doesn't fit my Edwrad, but cool idea.

At Evil_Dark_Kitty, I respect both of your opinions. EVD, you think he'd be a good Edward, cool. And MistressVampFreek, you think he doesn't fit your Edward, that's cool. *shrugs*

....I don't really have a stand in for Edward. The person that's playing him....I don't really like because he can't be made in my mind to fit real life....
and If it was possible....I'd pick Orlando Bloom. sweatdrop

At one point I thought that Elizabeth Perkins would have done a good Esme.

Robert isn't too bad a choice. With the makeup on he looks pretty good as Edward. If Johnny Depp were younger, I would say he would be perfect... though he still looks pretty good.

La Beaute Aradia Helevorn in the pics MistressVampFreek put up i would say jasper if he had lighter hair... and as for alexis as bella, i don't think so. she's too pretty. they needed someone very plain looking. i thing kristen (besides the fact that she always looks angry) is perfect for that visual. especially in the art i have been seeing when they round out her face a bit. I concur, Kirsten seems good for Bella and white enough I think. lol ( Remember in Twilight they discussed how she lived in Arizona but didnt get a tan?) So yes, I think Kristen was a good pick. visually she is... i'm rather worried about the acting though and i mean that in edward's case as well. i mean the last things i've seen them in made me cringe. it was just so false... (kristen it was the messengers and Robert it was harry potter)) it was just awful but i'm hoping that they've either gotten some training or somthing else to make themselves better. i'm terrified of yet another failer at betraying a book (such as blood and chocolate, and Eragon... which made me want to cry)

The trailers even, were so false. Especially on Kristen's part. Though it could just be the depth of her voice and not so much her skill (or lack that there of). I hope to god they don't ruin this film. It will break my heart.

Everyone mistakes him for Johnny. I first saw Skeet in, As Good As It Gets, and I totally thought he was Johnny. But me and my dad watched the credits, not Johnny. Then Skeet took my breath away in Scream. What can I say? I'm a sucker for the hot psyco killers... *drool* Especially when he was tapping the blade to his lips(shown in the pics above) I can't remember the actress iof Sydney, but boi was she lucky! gonk
