I second Captain Verd. And I don't think Orochimaru have used that jutsu so Obito could see it, didn't he leave Konoha while he still was relatively young? Obito would be the same age as Kakashi, who's now 26, and Orochimaru is 50. I almost think he left the village before any of them was born...

No, Orochimaru left Konoha about 10 years prior to the story, around the same time Jiraiya and Tsunade left.
