Heh, there are actually a bunch of prominent furry artists (including several real oldschool) who are Republican and fairly conservative. I'm very liberal socially (not quite as liberal in some other areas) but I still count some of the conservatives as friends. At least, I go to sushi with them at cons and the like. They don't seem to mind that I'm lesbian and poly and vegan, but I have been made fun of in a prominent furry webcomic for that last bit. wink When they start talking about their more conservative views, I just nod and smile.
There are a few, but they're definitely a minority in this fandom. They kind of have to be.
