Description: Buna is loyal but can be a bit stubborn at times. She is a traditionalist with little patience when younger lionesses come up with stupid (in her opinion) ideas. She's a mature lioness and is confident that her strength and experience will take her where she need to go.

History: She's lived in the Bonelands her entire life and is not too thrilled over the recent events.

Personality and history: Paean was born in the pride and belongs to the clan associated with the summer season.

He's laid back, friendly and flirty. Paean can appear a bit lazy, possibly because he is... He doesn't actively avoid work, but he's not going to volunteer if he can get away with it. Good times and games are better than hard work!

He's got a soft spot for his sister, and if anyone can coax him into doing something that takes actual effort, it's Ester.

Meaning: Zulu for "A mark made in anything soft: i.e. a footprint in soft clay"

Description: Xatu is still very young and inexperienced and relies heavily on Xefo's good advice. He's a bit paranoid around females when he's in the pride since he's still getting used to the idea that he won't be chased away any moment. It was a great relief for him to be able to stay in touch with his birth pride since he adores his mother and is very attached to his home. He takes his vow of celibacy very seriously and while he will talk to females other than his mother it's obvious that it makes him nervous.

History: Xatu grew up under Matifu's rule and learned to keep his head down and stay out of the way. His mother always doted on him and he did not look forward to the day he was to be kicked out. With his half-brother in charge there were suddenly more options than to leave and Xatu with a bit of luck (and pain) he managed to secure the Enda rank. He was initiated as an adolescent and returned from his first trip shortly before the red ones arrived.

Meaning: Just some pharmaceutical geekery. It's a NSAID (painkiller)

Description: Xefo is an old vulture with plenty of life experience. He's got a cynical streak a mile wide and claims to be the voice of reason in the pair. The companionship is very much a convenience for him, since the protection of a lion gives him an edge against younger vultures.

History: After a long hard life Xefo got an offer he couldn't refuse. If you ask him he's the one that initiated the companionship, and that's probably true. His lion counterpart doesn't really talk about it.

Name: Odi
Personality: He'll never. Shut. Up. Odi is a little chatter bug and seems to be able to go on forever and ever about nothing in particular. It might just be his way to find his place and be seen in the large litter, but it sure can be annoying at times. As a cub he'll probably get away with it most of the time on account of being cute, but I imagine his siblings won't be as impressed...

His family gives him comfort and he enjoys being around others, talking, talking, talking. Loneliness and silence are two very scary things to him, and that's another reason for his chattering. His name quest will be a real challenge since he will have to leave his familiar surroundings and support systems behind. I expect some drama when that time comes...

Personality: Thabisa might come across as extremely carefree, and she doesn't seem to take anything seriously. This happy go lucky attitude tends to get her in trouble at times, and she has no qualms about abusing her position as a lady to try to get out of sticky situations.

History: Thabisa was born before the insanity vanished, so she got to find her muse and then feel it vanish. If she's got a bit of insanity left in her she's hiding it well and she functions normally. As a cub she could play for hours with tail tufts, her own or any other tail tuft really.
