Chivalric Knight In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance...
Okay, so I figured it out for you.
From the center of Kansas (Ellsworth) to the center of Colorado (Castle Rock) it it 406 miles. If you ride on a bike at, say, 10 mph (while pulling a wagon or something with gear), then it will take you approximately... 2436 minutes to get there. Which translates into... 1 day and 7 hours. So, with sleep stops, you'd get there in 2.5-3 days.
You're welcome.
@Fresnel: Fack you. I'm proud with what I do and know with Boy Scouts. ;D
... In Switzerland they had brotherly love, they had five hundred years of democracy and peace, what did they produce? The cuckoo clock.
I don't hate the boy scouts, I hate the BSA. Being a scout taught me a lot of good stuff. I learned NONE of it from the BSA handbook, I learned it all from my troop leader. Look through your handbook, find me three ways to make fire without matches, lighters, etc. I can't find ONE in mine.

What I wrote sounds a lot more douchy than it did when I wrote it. Sorry.
And Touché. (I can't)

ArmasTermin That wagon thing is ridiculous. Wouldn't happen. In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance...
Unless you're handy enough to fix a solar panel on it, then you'd have yourself a ride and you can sit on top of everything. When you do this, take some pictures so I can have a good laugh.

So we basically went from walking to riding a bike to a solar powered cart. How about using a gas powered engine? Of course, you wouldn't have to worry about weight too much any more so may as well get a comfy seat. You can also build a roof to block the sun. Also, you can carry more stuff, which means you can make a bigger box on the back. It could probably look something like this.
I would like to see the solar cart though

Jeebus. Now I guess I know what Congress has to go through... But I'd laugh. REAL HARD.
But in all seriousness, he said he was biking. There are hitches that you can buy to haul a little wagon around. There are many things to consider; how long will you be staying?, will you be taking the same route back?, the same mode of transport back? It's tough. I'm trying to be practical and critical for you Armas. We can't have you dying in fricken Colorado.
