Well, I take what I said back, turns out black bears are less likely to attack than grizzlies. I did some research I'm sorry about your dog. If it makes you feel any better I wouldn't do anything to hurt you like that.

Well, actually I was talking about real animals too. I was always under the impression that black bears were as likely to attack as brown bears. I was just talking from the perspective of a bear. Maybe I don't know so much about bears as I should know. Are black bears really all that cuddly??

Black bears stay away from humans. They mainly just hang out in trees or of fin the woods. You see them a lot around here. It's very rare they attack humans or even come near them, other than to dig in your trash of course -Giggle-
