Right now I'd say the most important things in my life are:
My husband
Our basset hounds (they are our first "kids" wink )
Our baby on the way
Our giant family (I have a stepmom, stepdad, step siblings lol plus my mom's and dad's sides, in-laws, siblings ...
And our friends



Work is eh...it pays the bills and we have medical insurance...I'm hoping to move on in the next couple of years lol

It's not really a question about love, it's about ownership. Dods needs an owner, cats are independent and owns the people around them. It's a matter of class. A dog is never it's own and won't think for itself if someone else can do it. A cat will just give you the honour of serving it.

though i hate to say it, dogs are smarter than cats.....
though i've had both, i've had more cats then dogs.

Yeah, although dogs are more likely to save you from a sticky situation. I have a hard time seeing a cat (especially a lolcat in practice) saving me from anything except possible sleeping past their precious breakfast.

In my life, the things that are important are only a few things...my nephew (I would die for my nephew, no second thoughts about it), love (well, keeping it going since I have mine) and reality (you can't get too far into dreams or you have no reality).

To the cat/dog thing going on here, I have both I don't have to choose =D
Then again, it is funny to watch my cat chase my dog around the place -my dog is like four times my cats size).
