I have a really sweet family.
Kennith is a single father. He was a young father and the quick marriage that he had just didn't work out. The mother ended up leaving him with their daughter. His daughter, Adrelle, is now a teenager and falling in love for the first time. At first Kennith was iffy about it, until he started falling in love too, with an older parent like himself. Him and this girl are both in the same age bracket, over the drama of younger sims, and looking to getting a place that they can call their own.
Adrelle wants to go to University, but is so in love with her current boyfriend that she's not sure if University is what she wants. She's stuck with this really hard choice of deciding between love or further education. It's not an easy choice to make, especially when the selection of great guys in the neighborhood is slim to none.
Kennith is thinking of proposing to the girl he's been dating, Nikki. However, Nikki has three boys. Her youngest is still a toddler. Nikki's oldest son is about Adrelle's age, and the two of them are pretty close friends. Nikki's son is for sure going to University, but he wants Adrelle to come too. He only wants best for his practically step-sister. He's not a fan of Adrelle's boyfriend. All he sees are tattoos and piercings. But Adrelle keeps seeing more.
Nikki is kind of like a replacement mom for Adrelle. She never had that kind of support, and Nikki sets a spa afternoon with Adrelle to talk to her about future choices. Adrelle understands and is really upset when she knows that University is the better choice of the two.
That is... until Adrelle is pregnant.
Kennith was mad when Adrelle announced her pregnancy. She wanted to hide for the whole time. Nikki's oldest son, Josh, has kind of disconnected himself from his step-sister. He is probably the most dispointed out of them all.
Nikki wants Adrelle to give her child up for adoption, to a home that doesn't still have two younger kids in the place. But Kennith, despite his bitter feelings towards Adrelle's boyfriend, wants Adrelle to keep the child because it is still "his blood".
This creates a huge tension between the family and when Kennith tries to be romantic with Nikki and proposes to her, she rejects him. Adrelle didn't want this, and tells her parents that she's moving in with her boyfriend so that the two of them can keep their relationship. Kennith is strictly against it, believing that Adrelle would become pregnant again.
Adrelle moves in with her boyfriend into a run-down place. She tries to decorate the bedroom and closet (closet area is currently the small nursery area for their son). And with whatever scrap change they can, they manage to pay the $49 bill payments with her boyfriend's receptionist job and tip money from guitar gigs.
Adrelle has her son and within the first year, she finds herself pregnant again as her father had said. Kennith comes by every now and then to visit and give whatever money he can to help her. Nikki has stopped talking to Adrelle, specifically because of her past choices. And Josh has been stopping by to see Adrelle's son, but doesn't do so when Adrelle's boyfriend is home.
Adrelle hasn't graduated college, hasn't achieved for University, is always stuck at home with her son and pregnant self, while her boyfriend's "Work schedule" becomes unpredictable and spontaneous.
But Adrelle has a secret. Her unborn child isn't her boyfriend's.

Morgan Flynn, his son, Nicholas Flynn, Nicholas' wife, Guadalupe Flynn, and their infant daughter, Danelle Flynn, are all in a house. Morgan is originally from The Clique, but married my sim, and started this family. His wife, and Nicholas' mother, is dead.
9 weeks into my game. Morgan Flynn just turned elderly, Guadalupe Flynn (who was originally a Landgrabb) just had Danelle. is pregnant with another baby, and turned into an Adult. Nothing really happened with Nicholas. He might've gotten promoted.
That's what's going on in my game 3nodding

I play only a family of three, and the whole family's putting their backs into their work to give the best of comfort to their kid, who's spending most of his time studying and acing his subjects. Their statistics are as follows:
Father, Sam Menathil (myself): a werewolf, a natural cook, an expert in mixing drinks, a light sleeper, a family-oriented guy and skeptical about supernaturals, even though he is one himself. He works two jobs at once, being a head chef in the local restaurant and working on writing books and earning royalties on his spare time. If not because of his daily interactions with his wife and daughter, he would have gone overstressed and done crazies.
Mother, Joey Menathil: a werewolf, the handy-woman in the house. She's also technologically knowledgable, a logical woman who likes the comfort of books and the computer. While she earns Simoleons working at the local science laboratory, her secondary job involves hacking, something she does when she's alone at home, and is known to be a night owl. She likes to spend time with her daughter, helping her out in her homework when the husband's not around. While she works the same amount of jobs as Sam did, she is also a slacker, but her boss did not mind even if she did not go to work.
Daughter, Elizabeth Menathil: a werewolf, the aspiring writer of science fiction and logic. She aces her homework easily, and while she is not athletic, she is a prodigy in logic, climbing her way up the chess ranks bit by bit. Support by both of her parents meant that she keeps an optimistic view of life, and while she does not enjoy running or jogging, she cycles to school to make up for it.
