It's an inside joke from my choir, I'm a Coraline nerd so the people in choir always warn "Careful, she'll sew buttons in your eyes" when someone says something I don't like. XD
Y'know, like the Other Mother wanted to do to Coraline.

...It sounds like a pretty unpleasant experience...

The Other Mother and the Other people already had buttons. The Other Mother wanted to sew buttons into Coraline's eyes so she would stay with her forever.

And then Coraline meets the three ghost children, who let the Other Mother sew the buttons. >.>;

And stuff happens. Rent it.

The good news is that when she's done saving...I get to go to Thailand.
