How many Generations of Sims do you have in the Sims 2?

Ah. Follow these and you'll never have to worry about that:
1. Press crtl+shift+c + type expand and hit enter
2. Type in maxmotives and hit enter
3. Type in motivedecay off and hit enter
4. Type in exit and hit enter

Those cheats will make it so your sims' needs never deplete and they're always maximized. However, they'll stop working once you close the game.

One of these days, I'm making a legacy and seeing how far I can take the generations.

As is, I think my record is only like, two, before I get bored of their stupid, Nuclear Family with their two-point-five kids and their nice income and their not cheating on each other and there... boringness. D<

But with a Legacy, I might be interested more.

well llets see...i had a couple. had twins. and i made them have a baby again. (Im psycho xD) and then the little ones grew up to teens. and then i had them adopt. soo...yeah..o.o; (has a hack for teens to adopt)

I restarted my game some time ago and now I'm on my 5th generation. I'm trying to make things interesting so I don't kill more Sims. sweatdrop

I'm up to the fourth generation on my main family, I just have problems getting attached to the sims I actually don't kill off, so I don't let them grow old and die. *is weird*

I always try to make several generations of sims, but I always get bored easily...I managed to get up to 3 last time...but then I had to reformat my hard drive because of a nasty trojan... ._.;

I really don't like babies and toddlers, so I've never gotten past two generations grown to adulthood.

My biggest family is in it's third generation.

The oldest in this generation are teenagers, so depending on whether or not either of them go to college, it could be 4 soon.

Let me count, my main family is up to.. the 5th generation as children.

Oh wow, just noticed that the last post was also mine, from july. xD

I love how I've only gone through like 1.5 gens since them.

Mostly because I've been so busy, and becuase my generation progression has slowed down as a result of the family becoming so large. I don't like having someone's grandkid being the same age as their sister. (even though that's currently happened.. part of Generation 3 is only slightly older then generation 5...)
