Zach's smile became just the slightest bit forced when the dazzling young girl continued to elaborate on the follies Sephiroth had supposedly commited, the SOLDIER had the odd feeling that his little exagerations might come back to haunt him some day. He shrugged that particularly morose feeling away as Aeris was distracted with the prospect of Chocobo races. Zach smiled broadly, not one to be outdone, "That sounds like loads of fun! Let's go!" He said cheerfully, securing Aeris' arm with his own, He gazed into her pale green eyes as he asked quietly, "What kinds of snacks do you like?"

The twins and Miss Bloodcourt had almost exited the Wonder Square when Fenrir (who had seriptitiously been listening to the exchange between Zach and the the girl) allowed himself only the barest hint of a self-satisfied grin. Garm caught it narrowing his eyes with exasperation as he shifted the ungaingly Mog doll. Fenrir was to pleased his waiting for a prize ploy worked.

" Of course we would love to have you both," Fenrir said with a smile. " Well that is I couldn't help but overhear." His grey eyes alight with excitement turned to Trista, " I'm sure Miss Bloodcourt would be glad of your company as well." Inwardly Fenrir congratulated himself on his successful maneuvering, that and the fact he had a pre-registered for a box in the Chocobo Racing stadium.

Valens nodded to her and smiled"Im Valens i've been hunted by everyone in the past few days i has hopeing the General here would help me and and i would service under him to repay the debt"He looked once more the Sephiroth once more for the answer he was hoping he would hear and not the no he was dreading.

The great general paused for several moments at Valens' first explaination, it was slightly disconcerting to be so revered. Sephiroth had forgotten the kind of impact he had on the general populous, he most often dealt with his subordinates within SOLDIER, and also somewhat with the Turks. He didn't speak until Valens introduced himself to Saerenna, at which point the young man's intent became abruptly clear. "You need my assistance?" He confirmed with a slight raising of his eyebrow, "Perhaps we should begin with who exactly is hunting you, and do you know why?" This was a little more in Sephiroth's feild, and he relaxed slightly at that realization.

With a broad grin Zach pulled a few Gil from an indeterminate location. "Fruit salad and pickles! And some cotton candy for the lady!" He said with a wink, and as he manuevered himself and Aeris, (who's arm was still in Zach's) he dropped into conversation range of Trista, "We are going to pick up snacks! Would you care for anything milady? And how about you kind sir?" He said with a happy, lighthearted air and a contagious smile.

Valens nodded to the great man"I dont know his name all i know is he has black spikey hair.."He paused and looked at the women again"..Thats all i saw of him as i was running from him in fear of my life..."Valens paused again trying to take a breath".I wish I could defend myself but i'm to weak...if you defend me I will help you in anyway i can"He looked at the man once more"I don't know if my computer hacking skills can help you but I can also make good battle plans if that helps in anyway."Valens then stopped and waited for the man to think and answer

Saerenna started to feel somewhat useless. After all, she was just a scientist. An ASSISTANT scientist even. Still she was interested in what was going on. And it definitely wouldn't be boring to see Sephiroth actually doing his job. Still. There wasn't much a scientist could do. Maybe she'd think about a carrer change sometime. Though the idea of being in Soldier or something wasn't very appealing. To much of a mass thing. But, who knew, maybe she'd be a Turk or something, though that was unlikely. (( xd ))

He said with a wink, and as he manuevered himself and Aeris, (who's arm was still in Zach's) he dropped into conversation range of Trista, "We are going to pick up snacks! Would you care for anything milady? And how about you kind sir?" He said with a happy, lighthearted air and a contagious smile.

Fenrir smiled back gamely. Garm was in the act of speaking, " There is no..." he was was abruptly silenced by a covert but non-the-less vicious elbow to ther ribs. Garm grunted and glared but otherwise did not comment.

" I think my brother and I would like a couple of those cat shaped cookies." Fenrir never turned down free-food especially for some reason such a stupid reason as imaginary politeness. " Thanks for buying, as you can see we are only poor Turks," his voice lowered to a conspiritorial whisper, " They don't pay us very much, and imagine this is our only vacation for the whole year!"

Garm hefted the Mog shot a look of pure exaspiration at his twin and announced, "I'll meet you all at the box." He then steped into the hole leading to the Chocobo Square with as much dignity as one transporting an oversized stuffed animal could, and even that little dignity was frustrated when the stuffed Mog became lodged in the tube. Individuals near may have heard language that was never uttered in polite company said under his breath but eventually the doll was positioned correctly and Garm was on his way.

Trista shook her head at Zachs offer. "No thanks..Im not verry hungry.."She said and smiled shyly. She looked over at Fenrir.' Turks? I never knew he was a turk..Jeez..I hope they dont find out im a decendant..That wouldent be good..I hope its not obviouse..'She thought, feeling alittle more worried now.

The great general considered to himself, for one amusing moment he toyed with the thought that the stalker could be the man who had accompanied him into the Gold Saucer, but Sephiroth dismissed the thought with a mental chuckle. "Do not agonize about helping me," He consoled Valens, "This is what I am paid to do, it is no trouble." He remembered last minute to smile at the young man, before turning his gaze back to his companion, "Would you mind terribly if this young man accompanied us for a while? Just to give him some protection."

Zach's grin broadened, "Cat cookies it is!" and with a light-hearted wave he left the twins and Trista to escort Aeris to the snackbar. Once there he gestured to the menu, "Any thing that strikes your fancy is yours Aeris," He explained with a pleased smile, and then proceeded to order more than enough snacks to make a generous meal for their entire group, cookies, candies, sandwiches, drinks, anything on the menu which looked interesting, and he finished by asking for a crate in which to carry it all. Then he lifted the enormous package with one hand as though it weighed nothing. "Shall we rejoin them?" He asked the young woman beside him, misheif twinkling in his blue eyes.

Any of Dahry's associates, having seen her with Teerce, could only shke their heads. It was truly strange how diffrent a person she was in different company. It could also be noted that she seemed sadly defficient in the brains apartment whenever she spent more than five minutes in Teerce's company, it degraded the longer she was with him too. Teerce on the other hand, Somehow became a well of information and strength when Dahry's eyes were upon him. A very strange relationship indeed.

Saerenna smiled and nodded. "I wouldn't mind at all. Glad to have you with us, Valens." she said politely. Well, no matter what, it was still better than being cooped up in a lab all day, taking notes, doing injections, writing reports. Dealing with Hojo's wild schemes, too. Someday, she'd probably look back at these times and laugh. Or throw up, depending on her mood at the time.

"Oh thank you Zack, you're so nice!" Aeris blushed. "And I love cotton candy. "This is the best day I've ever had. I never knew there were so many nice people here. Usually people chase me..." Aeris paused knowing she'd spoken too much. And when there's Turks around no less, stupid stupid stupid! stressed

Sephiroth nodded, "Perhaps I might suggest SOLDIER? It never hurts to apply, I won't claim it's easy, because it isn't by any means but it would provide security and a career." He turned to Saerenna, "Lets continue then, I'm still up for a good challenge in Battle Square." He belatedly remembered to smile again as he said that, Polite conversation was not instinctual for him. He glanced once at Shinrei, who had not yet spoken, the boy seemed somewhat stunned. Then the great general strode briskly forward, adjusting his long-legged stride to accomidate the young scientist beside him.

Zach grinned broadly at Aeris, manuevering neatly through the hallways with the giant crate. They both arrived just in time to watch the Chocobos take off. Wordlessly Zach meandered through the crowd and presented his bounty to Fenrir, Garm, and Trista. "I've got snacks! What is your pleasure?" He grinned mischeiviously.
