(temporary) breaking lines rp (cos gaia's being stupid)

Koko just smiled and nibbled his ear playfully before settling down. Her eyes slowly closed as she stroked his chest. "Pleasent dreams...." she mumbled as she herself drifted off.

"mhmn, right back at you." he yawned and closed his eyes, leaning into her slightly as he gradually slipped off to sleep.

As sleep drifted on Koko's dreams seemed pleasent at first. She was dreaming of Drake and the children again......but the children faded away and shadows came and took Drake from her. She was alone....crying....frighten.

Then her father and brother appeared before her. She begged for their help but they gave her none. Instead they branded her a traitor to the clan....her brother pointed behind her where she saw Grace in a pool of blood. Then she was surrounded by figures in hooded cloaks who passed banishment on her.....and death as they stepped aside revealing Drake on a cross. She tried to go to him....plead with them but the figures held her back. One pulled their hood down.....Fayt. He was angry with her. He approached Drake with a stake....the hand flew and...

Koko woke up with a gasp. That wasn't pleasent at all. She looked at the surroundings and remembered where she was. She turned to Drake and held him tight. Silent tears fell as she remained awake.

Drake stirred a little in his own sleep in response to Koko tightening her grip, but his slumber was generally dreamless and just filled with a sense of being back at home. Occasionally flickers of his mortal life passed through his conciousness, but they were only brief images and left almost as soon as they came. His images changes a little to a feeling of unease and a view of Koko sobbing in her original native outfit, but it was a while before the image unsettled him enough that he was brought out of sleep. he flicked open his eyes briefly and looked at her almost blindly before trying to nod off again, but when he finally noticed she was actually upset by brushing agaisnt one of her wet cheeks it roused him a little more back to life.
"Koko are you ok?"
he asked, his voice still thick as his body tried to drag him back to sleep. the light in the was a lazy cool orange as it dribbled through the curtains, but he had no idea how long he'd been asleep. his body told him that it was not long enough.

Koko buried her face in his chest. "It was just a dream," she mumbled still clinging to him.

He ran a hand through her hair and kissed her forehead.
"Dreams are just dreams. Don't get upset, try to dream of something happy, like...I dunno..unicorns or something." he said quietly so as not to wake Judith. he then started humming his little tune again, quietly, to soothe her back off to sleep.

Koko nodded against his chest and even managed a small muffled laugh at mention of unicorns. As the humming went on she relaxed-loosening her hold a bit. Her hand moved up to caress his cheek and and chest. She took a deep breath and sighed in relief in his comfort. "...I love you..." she whispered pressing her body closer and drifted back into slumber-one last tear fell before she was completey out.

Back in the states.....

After stepping out for another cigerette, Patrick was able to relax enough to drift back into sleep. He made sure his cell was fully charged and next to him incase Judith called-he didn't care what the time difference was.

Judith lay still in the bed, drifting in and out of sleep but unable to relax. She heard Drake and Koko mumbling and shifting but stayed facing away from them. She glanced at the clock, what time was it in the states?
After the humming and moving stopped she glanced at the other bed. Drake and Koko appeared to be sleeping again. The hotel wasn't fancy enough to have a wireless phone so she took the cradle as far away from the other bed as she could and hid under the thick comforter from her bed so she wouldn't wake them. She still had no idea what time it was in the states but she dialed Patrick's number anyway and waited as it rang.

It took a moment for Patrick to come to and realize his phone was going off.

"H...hello?" he asked rather sleepily but hoped he thought who he thought it was. "Judith?"

"The feeling's mutual." he said softly with a smile and drifted back off to sleep again , undisturbed by Judith's phone call

Koko didn't dream much after that. Which was better than having another nightmare like before. There were brief images but doubtful she would remember them when she awoke.

((Not sure if Ishould pretend to have Patrick converse now or if I should wait....))

[Jeez, time zones are killing me here. I just woke up for school and you guys were posting at 4AM my time. Dx ]

"Yeah." Judith smiled as soon as she heard him.
"Did I wake you up?"

"Of course not," Patrick chuckled. "How was your flight? Ivy didn't cause you trouble did she?"

"It was good and a bit." Judith said dismissively, not even wanting to think about Ivy.
"How are things over there?"
