Ryujin, Kaede vs Mangetsu, Kumori

Because Kaede did not fall or lose balance when Kumori pulled back on the chain he himself slide forward bending his knees thus changing his angle of the chain, in time to block Kaede's attack again. Right after that Kumori trusted his sword right at Kaede's hand where she was holding the chain.

Kaede was far enough out of Kumori's reach that she ignore his swing at her. after all she was just in range of his feet herself as she had swung under the chain in such a way as to chop his foot off all he did by moving the chain was slightly change her swing.

The little attack was merely to keep her away enough for him to grab the chain with his other hand which was empty and pull in more. This way he had the slack he needed to plant his foot on the floor so he is in a crouching position, he grabs onto the chain with the other hand with the sword as well and pulls on it even hard to force Kaede to let go or give more slack, since he is closer to the ground his stability is stronger then that of Kaede.

Kaede growled as she tried to fight against his pulling but soon she gave up and let the chain go. She quickly pulled a few throwing knives and tossed them at Kumori's vital areas before she gripped her sword in two hands and rushed him with a left to right low to high swing intended to end the fight quickly.

Kumori just got up to see the throwing knives heading his away along with Kaede so he quickly took a dive sideways avoiding the knives that were heading to his upper parts while the ones who were heading towards his lower parts manage to scratch him a bit. Kumori dived and rolled and got up right away and threw one of his knives at her towards her neck.

Kaede easily ducked under the knife and shoved her foot hard into the ground adjusting her run so that she ran right by Kumori putting him on her right side. She twisted her wrist at the top of the original arc of the swing and flipped the blade back and down allowing her momentum to cause it to slice across his middle.

Kumori this time took a big side step foward towards Kaede, almost like a jump step, to get close to her while he held his sword up side ways he dodged Kaede's sword for more part while his sword deflected it and guided it down away from Kumori. Standing infront of Kaede Kumori grabs onto her neck with his free hand lifts her chin up causing her equilibrium to go nut and pushes her chin back and downwards causing her to fall.

Kaede saw the reach and the moment their swords hit she dropped a hand off it and grabbed his wrist that was coming at her neck. She dropped her left knee and slide down under Kumori twisting to plant the back of her shoulder into his gut she threw her weight forward in order to throw him over her.

Kumori was getting anoyed with her but decided to go with her for the moment but grabbed onto her wrist as well. Once he was going to fall over Kumori jumped over Kaede while turning towards her and lands on one knee facing her and holding his sword up to her face.

Kaede could feel him twist in the air and kicked at his knee as he landed she brought her sword around knocking his out of the way and settling the tip on his neck her hand still gripping his wrist.

Kumori pulls hed nack back and swung his sword back hitting hers away from his neck this time holding her sword down with his own causing both of them to be in a stand still.

Kaede grinned and pushed towards him quickly and did a rather forceful Muay Thai knee to his chest just below his neck. She followed that up by firmly placing her foot against his chest and pushing in a kick intended to break his hold and distance herself as well as land some damage.

Kumori forcefuly pulled his own body sideways to thehand that he was holding to avoid the knee as much as possible it only hit his shoulder maybe and at the same time swung his sword to stab Kaede's upper leg the one she used to knee Kumori.

Kaede grimaced as the sword nicked the top of her thigh while her knee did not impact as forcefully as she had hoped. She jumped back and glared as the cut started to bleed.

Kumori got up again with his nose bleeding, lucky that it didn't break, he dusted himself off a bit, one should always try to look their best even in the most dire of situations. Kumori looks at her, sees her bleed yet still ready to fight, he wipes some of the blood of his upper lip before he speaks " are you tired yet?... I honestly do not enjoy these things... all i do is kill, its my job... my business... its what my whole guild does... so most of us don't see the point of fighting in the open...we see it as a waste of time..." he says.
