Personality: Fon Youn is a testament to the nature argument of nature versus nurture. Despite having never met his mother, or any other member of his family, the poupe undeniably takes after her in more than just looks. He lives for pleasure and love, and no matter how many times he is scolded, threatened, bribed, or otherwise induced to be productive and useful, he will quickly lose interest in those tasks which are not fun and exciting.
He is basically an easy-going, lazy sort of lion who would truly like to lead a life of leisure punctuated by periods of extreme excitement whenever he was asked to help summon a Loa. To reach this end he doesn't mind stretching and bending the truth, though he prefers not to tell actual lies. Thus, even when he appears to be lying, there is probably an element of truth somewhere in his story that he will cling to if called out. Besides, he sees his kind of lying as harmless, and not really lying at all, but more improving the truth.
Fon Youn enjoys the reverence he is sometimes afforded and will happily take advantage of it to get out of trouble and to impress ladies. He is not really very picky about his targets for his romantic advances, and has the gumption to put the moves on older women who are secure in their position as well as younger, less experienced types. He is most definitely a lover, rather than a fighter, which probably contributes to his tendency to avoid going out with the gatherers. That, and he really would prefer to stay home and party.
Yes, party. Fon Youn is a party boy, and could very easily be the sort to sneak into a medsen fey's stores for some fun substances to share around to make his gatherings of friends really pop. If he gets caught or in trouble, he will squirm and cajole and generally do anything he can to get out of being punished. There is nothing fun about being punished, and when he's being punished is the best time to catch this irrepressible boy being sullen and sulky.
As for the Loa, he truly believes in them, but he has never been possessed by one, to his knowledge. He is convinced that it's because his own personality is too powerful and thus they just need to summon more awesome Loa for it to work with him. He has never lied, however, about the effectiveness of an attempted possession. That is where he draws the line.
History: Born into the pride to a young mother who really had no business being pregnant, Fon Youn was named by someone else who hoped he would grow up to display hidden depths of character that his flighty mother never did. So far he has been quite the disappointment in that respect. The pride dispersed just as he was beginning to have shadowy visions that were truly visions. He was captured by a reaver who stole his mother's bones and threatened to desecrate them if he didn't obey, and so he did. In the pride he met another thrall, Alia, and the two fell in love.

Personality: Daffyd's not a particularly nice lion. He is used to having others tend to his needs, and it irks him that while he's on his own he has to do it for himself. He doesn't get along well with other males, having had a traditional upbringing, and views females as food providers and babymakers. There's really no room in his philosophy for friends, except perhaps those of other species, though there's the possibility he could get along with lions if there was no cause for them to compete. He can be emotionally abusive, but mostly can't be bothered to do so.
History: Daffyd was raised in a loving family, well-treated and provided for. His upbringing was very traditional, in that the female members of the family hunted and the males, namely himself and his father, waited at home for them to bring back their kill. When he grew to adolescence his father tried to drive him away, and in the attempt he ended up getting himself killed because Fyd was stronger and a better fighter than his father had expected, even though he'd never actually been taught. On the death of his father Daffyd remained with his mother and sisters for a time, but eventually he began to feel the urge to find himself a mate, and he knew he couldn't do that with his mother or sisters, and so he left them.

Personality: Ilyas takes after his father, in that he's rather protective over his younger siblings, always trying to be the big boy that's old enough to make his own decisions. However, in the process it's not unknown for him to become rather bossy, and even a little big-headed - but in the end, he really does care about his siblings and wants the best for them. He's swift and decisive, gentle to his sisters but not afraid to put them in his place should they step out of it, just like any other female - the only exception is his mother. Il would never talk down to his mother. Il's a very impatient boy, always wanting to be doing something, never wanting to be bored. He's gained his mother's sharp mind, and his only goal in life is to make his Papa proud. As he's grown he's developed a rivalry with his brother, Zeki, that's grown into something more violent, although the two have recently reconciled and are on good, friendly terms. Ilyas is also quite close to his sister, Farrah, and the idea of not being able to hug or cuddle her when she is given to another Pad upsets him.
History: Ilyas was born to Vizier Faiz of the Ukuucha'Wafalme and his Banu, Tuliua. Ilyas was Faiz's first son, and because of this was doted on a little. However, he often received cold feelings from his other mother, Mzuka'Hila, his father's Beybanu, since she believed she should've been the first to have Faiz's cubs. As he grew, Ilyas developed a rivalry with his brother, Zeki, which turned into something more serious and violent when Zeki was surprised with a Banu by their uncle, Sultan Aali.
Ilyas became jealous, thinking that since he was the first son he should've gotten the Banu. Throughout the jealousy he became closer to one sister in particular, Farrah, and confided in her, the two growing close. Whilst patrolling the borders one day with his father, they found a young, lost lioness, and Ilyas quickly claimed her as his own Banu, happy. His brother and he reconciled, and Ilyas now faces the prospect of leaving for his Coming of Age. And as if that wasn't enough, his other mother Mzuka'hila just had a litter of nine, and he's been instructed to help.
His Coming of Age quest accomplished with the capturing of the lovely and odd Itzel, Ilyas came back to the Ukuucha and asked for Afsar as his beybanu, though he had asked her to wait for him before he left. Not too long after his return and establishing a home with Farrah, Afsar, and Itzel, a pad named Naim'Namir asked for his permission to take Farrah into his harem. Ilyas reluctantly agreed.
Not too long after that tragedy struck the family when Ilyas lost another banu, much to his shame. Itzel went out to hunt, probably thinking she would do something clever and surprise everyone with prey, but she never came back, leaving Ilyas with just Afsar. He was not unhappy with only his beybanu, but still he went out and found himself a second to keep up appearances, which is how he ended up with Elsa, formerly of the Suka'Fumo. Shortly after Elsa came back to the Ukuucha'Wafalme Afsar became pregnant and delivered five healthy boys. He and Afsar had a very small litter later on.
When the Ukuucha'Wafalme fell apart he and his banu left to seek a new home. He was captured by Stormborn reavers leading them away from his banu, who he will probably never see again. Upon reaching the Stormborn his son Sakhr recognized him and saw to it he was made freeborn so that no shame would be brought on the family.

Personality: Unlike his ambitious sisters, Odd is not a lion who feels the need to prove himself just because he's a b*****d. He may be a bit more spiritual than the average Stormborn, and has as much of an appreciation for stillness and solitude as he does for the tempests and squalls that rage in the spring and autumn. He is comfortable around fighters, and able to hold his own, but takes no particular joy in fighting for its own sake, and prefers to have a reason, even though he knows and acknowledges that in nature there is not always a reason for violence beyond the will of the gods and the spirits.
