Yep. While walking around grocery shopping, there was a box kit for taco pies. Although I think it was called a taco pizza here. It included the seasoning for the hamburger meat, the tortillas, the salsa & a list of other stuff to put in. Instead of buying it, I just bought everything fresh. And instead of using tortillas, I did like your idea and just layered everything without the tortillas as dividers, baked it, then added the cream cheese on top (I don't cook mine with the cheese.)

I don't divide the ingredients since they blend so well.

@ Cexil, I may not next time. I was afraid it would spoil or something. Although I know good and well cream cheese cooks fine. xD I just wasn't thinking.

There's this super-small chain called Cotija's that has the most amazing carne asada chips! DO WANT!

*settles for leftovers, and eats a late lunch with everyone else. XD*
