Horowai was born as litter-mate to Tejasvi, the current queen of the Nihang Clan. However, due to her dark pelt, Horowai was not deemed worthy enough to become a Rawal and instead was pushed into becoming one of the Gasht.
This didn't really bother her so much at first. Horowai never wanted to be Queen. As she sees it, Queens are weighed down by responsibility and have no time to do as they please. However, being part of the royal family also trapped Horowai and she began to realise this as she grew older.
She often got herself into trouble through mischievious ploys and brought shame upon herself more than once. However, soon these little tricks of hers were looked upon as pathetic ways of gaining attention to herself and she was thought of as a spoiled little brat. This began to make Horowai bitter, but she was more sad than angry or jealous.
So, desperate not to bring anymore shame upon herself or her family, Horowai gave up her phase of mischief making and sank back into the crowd. But again, she was ignored, becoming just another member and she couldn't help but invoke another bad trait in her personality.
To put it short she turned into a drama queen, blowing everything up into something big so that people would look at her. She would fgall into hysterics so easily and so often that it soon became second nature, but as time passed and everyday brought another tantrum or outburst again, the others began to ignore her and slowly but surely she returned to her old tricks, causing havoc, not out of anger or bitterness, but out of a sheer desire to be noticed.
This attention-seeking behaviour, however, landed her in trouble when she came across a rogue male. Smug and clearly wanting the respect she deserved, she made a deal with him. They would duel and if she won, he would treat her as a princess. However, the duel was over quickly with the male arising the victor. His prize? To lay with her and for she to bear his children. Which she did, begrudgingly. She birthed healthy cubs to him, one of which a Rawal who she adored beyond all else. One other, a near-replica of her father. This child she scorned and hated and, it was this hatred that led to her daughter loving the father she had never known and leaving with him when he came.
Now, she plans on how to steal her daughter back, not because she loves her, but because she wants to heal her wounded pride.

Uzushi was born to a large litter consisting mainly of boys except for one girl. He adored his family, however was rarely seen interacting with them. Instead Uzushi is always wandering with his imaginary friend Kalpana, who is actually a manifestation of his seer powers. Her guiding words stayed with him throughout his childhood and remained even whenb he was a fully grown adult. However, Kalpana was lost to him upon the birth of his children. Uzushi firmly believes that this is because she placed was formed as one of his own offspring and lives in one of them. Thus, he named one of his daughter's after her, for she seemed so much like his childhood friend.
Even still, after spending all of his life with Kalpana, seeking the end of the rainbow, without her he became lost. He was an attentative father indeed but, when the pack broke apart, he strayed off alone to seek his rainbow without the guidance of his imaginary friend.

Kalpana was part of a huge litter of 13, one of the last to be born in the Mpinzani lands before it dispersed. Because she did not know the pack for long, she did not mourn its loss and instead took out into the wide world by herself. She made friends, skittered from one land to another, and eventually came across one of her other sisters who was hanging out with a lion and a hyena. Kalpana quickly adopted herself into this group and now often spends time with her best friend, Marakl, causing mischief wherever they go.

---------- Appearance: A tiny hare with a shaky back leg that gives her a characteristic limp. She has large and very expressive ears and almond-shaped, green eyes that sit kindly in her rounded, hazel face. Her eyes are ringed with darker brown and her toes are dipped in a lighter, caramel shade. ---------- Personality: A timid and gentle little hare, who speaks in a quiet voice. She is shy but sweet and though she would never get angry or violent, she is slightly emotional and is sensitive, which means if she is teased or mocked, she will get weepy and sad. However, a heartfelt apology will see her smiling again and she never, ever bears a grudge towards anyone. ---------- Personality: Beshtetu is as bright and cheerful as his pelt. He is very much like his mother in personality. Kind, peaceful and loving. He would never growl or glare at anyone. However, despite this, he finds it difficult to find friends and as a child he was most often seen with his little sister Kiasi, who he has affectionately dubbed Kas. He is full of bmbling awkwardness, shy tendencies and has an ability to splutter words without thinking.
Some may think him a little bit of a twit, but Beshtetu doesn't pretend to be intelligent. He lives the way that his parents taught him, to cherish life and, so long as he's not upset about something, he'll be quite happy to chatter the day away, oblivious to the fact that people might think little of him.
This lion has a genuine heart of gold and would do anything to make those around him happy. Having a family and love in his life is all he's ever wanted and now that he has these things, he feels complete and happy with life. ---------- History Chunuka was the eldest of his parent's second litter, brought up with love and joy in the Pridelands. He was given flirting lessons by his father at a young age, but he soon outgrew the teachings, not really understanding what flirting was for. He loves his father dearly but seemed to cherish his mother's way of life more, taking on every aspect of her ways to fit into his own personality.
Having five other brothers, Chunuka natrually grew very protective of his little sister and of all his siblings, he gets on with her the most. The two are not usually far away.
His life was not dramatic or angsty, he grew up in a normal family in a lands that was cheerful and fear-free. That was until the day his father declared that their mother Maawio had died and that he was leaving. Desperately alone, Chunuka went in search for his sister to tell her the terrible news.
A few days after Amari's departure and the terrible news had been given, Maawio turned up again out of the blue. Thinking it a miracle, Chunuka is now trying his best to keep his family together, cheering up his mum, helping Kas with her newborns, and waiting eagerly for the day of his father's return. However a couple of months later his mother returned and, desperate to see his family together again, he swallowed his fear and took off into the world. On this journey he met with a young female who would become his future mate.
Family together again, Chunuka slips back into his loneliness, revitalising as his old friend from the rogue lands returns. After a chat, he agrees to go with her to her homeland in the swamps and, after a tearful farewell, leaves the place of his birth to start a new life in a new land with a new name.
