I saw it last week.

I fell asleep through the last half. It had potential, but it's like they just went 'screw it!' and went for the easiest, most obvious jokes.

In my experience, parody films are never much good - usually too full of slapstick humor. Whereas I don't mind silly humor like Monty Python stuff and the Goon Show, a lot of American parody stuff is just ridiculous to the point where it's stupid.

n the 80s American parody writers were good. Now they don't try. I find it amusing when Movies such as "Meet the Spartans" and "Epic Movie" have some of the lowest ratings on IMDB and RottenTomatoes. You'd think they'd stop because the movies suck.

You'd think so, wouldn't you. Unfortunately when people make something that has epic amounts of fail, they seem to want to continue making these crap films, even though people are clawing off their own faces to avoid seeing more of their s**t stuff.

That may or may not have been a Uwe Boll/ go compare advert inspired rant.

Now, the Mel Brooks parodies are always hilarious. Anybody here ever seen Space Balls or Men in Tights?
