Lykas shrugged at Crystal's question. "I, eh, honestly don't know. I've been sleeping on the couch since I got here." It was true. He hadn't bothered finding a room yet. His bag, with the few things he bothered owning in it, was sitting at the end of the couch.

"Two more days." Sub said as he sat at the kitchen tapping table his chin rhythmical as he stared at Cipher's strange device that sat on the table before him. "What do they plan on doing with those people? Perhaps what they do was based on the outcome of those device?" He said a loud and pondered to himself. "How does a simple machine even change physical matter through chi alone? It baffles me..."

Odd sat on the couch with Lykas, watching tv. They were watchign an anime about a kid with a midget of a giant robot and some guy with deadly looking sunglasses with a bigger one. "This is lame." Lykas intoned as he watched.
"What are you talking about?" Odd asked, not looking away from the TV.
"This is just another Giant Robot anime." Lykas responded, yawning.
"No way. This is softcore hentai. Look at how much boob action the kid's getting. He's about your age, though." Odd retorted, attempting to defend the show. He thought it was good, even if some of the characters were a bit over the top.
"Ya, he's my age and doesn't have any experience with women. Or men for that matter." Lykas responded as he stood up and stretched out his stiff muscles. "I know things that would make that kid's head explode."
"I'm sure you do and I'd like you to keep them to yourself, if you wouldn't mind." Odd shot back with a snarky grin.
"Your wish is my command, Honey." Lykas responded, mimicking the green-haired queen in the anime.
Odd stuck his tongue out at Lykas as the younger teen walked off to the kitchen, laughing.

Sub sat up straight once he heard laughter approaching, the sound had startled him, he almost hit the device on the table in front of him when his hand jerked off its laying position on the table.

"Hm?" Lykas looked around when he heard someone moving. He hadn't noticed Sub at first, too busy laughing at Odd while he dug into the fridge. He popped the tab on a can of nectar as he looked and noticed the man, who he now assumed had fallen asleep at the table for some reason or another.
"What's that doo-hickey?" The teen asked as he walked over to the table and leaned over it to examine the device. "It looks high-tech. I bet it's something nasty the baddies cooked up, huh?"

"Well, you're about right." Sub said pulling the device towards him. "It was made by Team Cipher, what it is exactly still baffles me. All I know is it's a very powerful tool, and can be potentially dangerous, especially after seeing what it can do with my own eyes."

"Hehehe, I heard they lost!" The hybrid said wringing his hands. "Gosh, they take down one white haired pretty boy and now they're all striking out! If I was there I would have...POW....BAM...BONK....I would have taken that thing down." Someone was full of themselves.
"I've been so busy lately with my Ultra Sweet Training Arts that they probably thought I died." Nothing. "I said....probably thought I DIED." The boy socked his Ducknoir which then chuckled a bit before stopping tiredly. "God, not even my own Pokemon will laugh at my jokes. Are you that sore in your spectral tail about all that stuff we did?"
Of course it was. They did some freaky s**t over the past few months...to say the least.
"Oh whatever man." Az said crossing his arms. "We might as well talk to one of them and have them check out my sweet toned calves and butt and shower me with welcome home gifts."

Sub walked back into the main area of HQ, having come out of the kitchen with a sandwich in hand. "What was that?" He pondered. "Felt like some sort of demented ghostly spirit paid us a visit last night...must just be my imagination." He said with a shrug and took a bite of his sandwich.

With the adventures in Hyda over, I finally returned home back to Mahogany, along with Freth, Tails, and took Tristen along too so he could see just how big of a world there is out there. The boy has a lot to learn, as far as I could figure, so I'd best teach him in the best way I knew how. I would make a mental note to go back to Hyda on occasion to see if there was any leads on where Tristen's parents may be. Until then, I'd take up responsibility for him.
As glad as I am to be back home, finally, I have to admit I felt somewhat empty inside. As I told Remy, just suddenly told that you can go home or go follow a bunch of people out to pick a fight with some other people, it wasn't kosher to say the least. Wasn't kosher to Tails either, knowing that there would be no telling when he'll see them again. I wish I could help him somehow. Funny how life tends to be so cruel like that.
As the days finally went on by, it started to get a little easier for us, somewhat. Tristen just have started to show what he can do as a hybrid. Apparently all this time, he knew at least Spark, Flash and Thunder Wave, but beyond that? Eeeehhh, the boy needs work. Apparently the tribe left learning attacks more to the user's discretion than help figure out their capabilities. Maintain a pecking order perhaps? I don't know. Tristen also in the meantime got his first Pokemon as well just very recently. Of all things, he got a hold of a Natu from the route north of the gym. Tristen was scared to death of that bird; probably being reminded of the tribe leader or something. Whatever the case, Tails showed him otherwise. Though the thoughts of eating the bird came to mind for him which probably didn't gel too well with the Natu if he caught any indication.
Speaking of Tails, well, I can't really say all too much how he's doing. Since coming back, I try to leave him to his own devices to the most part to help him along to coping with the fact that he's going to be missing some of his friends for a while, but always left it known to him that I will always be there for him whenever he needs that shoulder to lean on.
Freth was probably the least phased of all of us. Yea sure she wouldn't get to see some of the ones she gotten to know quite well hardly anymore, if any, but that came with the territory, or that's how she figured. She was used to this sort of thing. Jaded she was. Or that is at least what she claimed. I kind of stand on the fact that she hadn't gotten severely close to anyone like the rest of us had.
Doc Owl went back to performing his practices at the Pokemon Center here in Mahogany. With what know-how he gained over the past year and a half or so, he's virtually this region's top doctor...rather, he would be if he went out and showed his findings. Doc Owl is too much of a curmudgeon for his own good.
Me, well, it was only until yesterday, I found myself looking out the window. I sensed something far off. Something that didn't go over kosher too much. Elemental strength? Hell no. Though it did leave me bothered on how such a thing just suddenly showed up on the proverbial radar. It made me wonder if it had any relation to the news report about what happened in Cherrygrove City. I don't know why I am trying to make sense of this, I'm not supposed to be playing superhero again. Despite which, today, I was outside, looking off into the distance once again,,,

That Sub guy. What a tool. Hanging out in his shadow was boring. Sure that place he was fixing up would make for a cool pad later on, it was nothing totally radical yet.
With Hyda wrapped up, the spirit had a few other people to bother before things got real. Being paranoid, one such as Az always thought things would get real, so he often made preparations to stalk strong people out to use as meat shields should something happen.
Plus he needed food. Ghost or no, a growing boy needs his fried food.
After a day of recalling useless details about his """""friends"""" Az realled the named "Mahogany" popping up.
And so Az decided to stalk plenty of nice ladies until he followed a trail of clues (and slaps) which led him to one curious structure.
"Knock, knock. Mailman. I have a package for a Mr.... or is it Ms. Blizzard?"
HE WAS SO FUNNY HA HA.

"Hmm..."
In the few days since returning, Tails had salvaged a small fifteen inch television from someone's curbside for his own room. Because he couldn't actually watch it, he didn't know what was on. Instead, when he was bored, he watched a dead channel's static. He could make out it was static if he squinted. And turned low, the sound was white noise.
Still, as he lay on his bed, he only saw ants playing soccer from space.

And turned low, the sound was white noise. Still, as he lay on his bed, he only saw ants playing soccer from space. I made my way back inside the gym and then made my way off into the back to go check up on everything. The Pokemon for one, and Tails especially. Down the halls I went then finally to Tails's room. "...hey, buddy. You alright in here?" I asked.

"Huh?" Tails' eyes snapped away from the screen. The noise had lulled him into a kind of otherworldly stupor. He seemed at first surprised to see Blizz. "Oh. Um. Yeah. I still can't see the TV."

Lykas was sitting on his recently acquired bed, reading over a book. He was doing still more research into his strange ability to hear water singing to him. So far, all he'd found was that some people with signs of hydrokinesis complained of the same thing. Most of those same people, however, were hybrids whose Pokemon features hadn't yet become apparent. The only thing that told him was that he was cursed by his great grandmother's blood to get a migraine whenever he went near water.
Odd was sitting on the couch with his three Pokemon sitting around him. Replay was singing, Bass was chiming away with a magical sounding note and Beat was banging away on his drum to the sound of a rhythm only he could hear. To others, it might sound like gods awful racket, but to him, it sounded like soothing music. It sounded like peace.
