It became some what like a game for the two of them and they loved their little adventures. But everything changed when it was annouced that Puteri would have to marry the current prince. This was something Puteri did not want. She snuck away and found Katashi, convinced him to run away with her and told him they could go out on adventures whenevery they wanted. It took a lot of convincing, but he knew he couldn't say no to her. As they ran away, they were both coming to the realization of their feelings for the other.

The fire wouldnt reach her there, and if she was lucky, those shouting creatures with the barrels of fire. But her mate was gone, and now she would have to raise the next generation alone..

Much to her shock, she realized Hazi had a lot more substance than some of the more typical brawny lions and she found herself falling for Hazi. Unfortunately though, before she could truly admit her feelings, word of her jealous act came out and Hazi realized that Alishba never had any interest in him at all. They argued, but Alishba begged him to stay - she apologized about her trick, but also admitted she was glad of it, else she might never have gotten to know him and he was the best thing to happen to her. Her affections were real, genuine, and she wanted no other lion but him. Recently, they set out away from the pride and off to the rogue lands so they might strengthen their relationship with one another and get to start anew.

He preened under the attention, using it to his advantage to press the spacious den upon her. They drew out their 'negotiating' for several days, but she finally had to admit to him that she didn't like the den, though she'd take the salesman. Per his pattern, he mimed regret and sent her on her way, thinking to breeze onwards on his own again, grooming himself and admiring his reflection to fill the hole of her absence. But this time it was not enough. Though she'd teased, her eyes had said how much her heart meant her flirting words. He hated to admit it, but life just wasn't the same without her! Grudgingly he followed her trail back to her old den, then claimed that he was a salesman that prided himself on happy customers, and that he'd just have to stay with her until he'd found her the perfect den. The rest, of course, was history, for no den was ever going to be happy for her if he was not there.

When they realized they were having cubs they were thrilled. The gods shined upon her new family as well... Until the stormy season arrived. It was not a large issue. Atleast, Lin claimed not. It happened every year in the area. But this year was different, something changed. The water rose to fast for either to realize, all of a sudden it was flooding into their den, sweeping them out into a ragging current. With no experience in the water, Ai felt herself slipping under until Lin's strong jaws closed around the back of her neck. Somehow against the current he managed to haul his mate up, slinging her with some force out of the water onto a shore that he could only hope would remain above the water. The last thing Ai saw before slipping into unconsciousness was Lin's form being rushed away from her in the raging waters... Somehow, she knew... She would never see him again. Calling everyone's attention, he climbed out as far as he could to show how brave he was. However, bravery did not make his legs any less clumsy, and he slipped and fell into the lake, causing a fit among the hippo. Within the group of females was Kőmancs, confident and cocky. While the other dogs simply laughed or gasped in shock, she leapt into action and swam for the waterlogged male, pulling him to the safety of the shore, because really, who else would be able to save this hopeless male? Though they went their separate ways afterward, she proud of herself for her bravery and he very embarrassed, they found that the other was always on mind. When they met again sometime later, it was at that same spot by the leaning tree on the lake. Without a word, their eyes met and they burst into laughter, and were from then on seen side by side.
