Well, here we are again...

Personality: Some could say that Holodnogo has no heart – that he was carved out of the ice and snow in far off mountains, and merely given the shape of a cheetah that he may better perform his duties. While this is obviously not true, it’s not entirely inaccurate. Holdnogo’Dusha is as cold and focused as his name implies, and spares no mercy or pity for those who cross him or a cause that he is loyal to.

This isn’t to say that he’s without his virtues, however. He is unquestionably loyal once he is committed to a being or a cause, and cannot be bought or swayed by any means. He tends to avoid personal relationships both because it could become a weakness, should someone wish to use those relationships against him, but also because he simply does not understand the point of them. He is entirely committed to his career, and cannot comprehend ever being swayed from duty by something so ridiculous as fondness for another.

There is some rumor that he wasn't always quite so heartless, and even a whisper or two of a sense of humor buried underneath his icy exterior... however, when asked about such things, he will deny them as superstition and an attempt to make him seem more approachable. If there is any truth to these rumors, then something that happened in his past changed him into who he is today - a cheetah who claims loyalty as his only virtue, who avoids emotional attachments like the plague, and who believes his honor to be ruined beyond repair.

Holodnogo paced back and forth, his irritation at the situation visible on his features as he moved. How dare the rebels approach him, especially once he had already committed to serve the Governess! Had they any knowledge of him? Surely, any rebellion that claimed to have a hope of success would have done its research on those they wished to recruit. To have done so and yet miss his unmistakable loyalty – something that he made no secret of – was a source of shame for any creature that dared to set itself against the lawful government.

Had he not already thrown in his lot with the Governess, he... well, he still wouldn’t have joined the rebellion, not if it had no knowledge of those it intended to recruit. Of course, with a rebellion, one can’t simply say ‘no’ and expect to walk away calmly. No, Holodnogo had asked for time to think on the matter, for he could not make so heavy a decision on a whim. Not that he intended to break his vows of loyalty in the first place, but buying himself time to think of a way to say no without truly saying no was an acceptable reason to be less than completely truthful, in his mind.

Never mind that his ‘more time’ was only a matter of hours, he knew that he could think of something to say by then. Hopefully, it would be something convincing, and not a mere exclamation over how they could question his loyalty. No, this was a situation that needed a level head and a clear mind. He couldn’t afford to let his irritation affect his wording.

He only wanted what was best for the pride, in the end.

But in this case, there were two very different views on what was ‘best’. However, he had taken his vows of loyalty, and he would not be swayed, not even if it cost him his very life – and Holodnogo knew that it very well might.

Ah, but it appeared that his time to think was over. Taking a deep breath, the white cheetah closed his eyes and sought out the words that would save him from breaking his vows of loyalty to the Governess. He would do what he must this night, as his loyalty and his honor were the only two things he had ever had to his name, and while his honor might be compromised (and indeed, had been compromised long ago), his loyalty would never waver in the face of either death or temptation.

Note:I hope I didn't misunderstand the information provided too badly, but I did try to make sense of it. I apologize for any glaring errors against the pride's continuity. ( I didn't find the culture and religion post until after I had written most of this up - it's not stickied in the subforum and I think it's supposed to be?)

Personality: Sensui (aka Sen) has been a part of the aristocracy since birth. He has been given the finest education and due to that.... he is emotionally cut off and a bit of a snob. He looks down on everyone... and those he is closest to he tends to not talk at all. Inside he knows there is something either wrong with him or the world...and for a while now the world has been giving him signs that it might be his own doing...
He is miserable and often complains of his feet aching. This happens when he is nervous or upset (which happens quite often in his den).
A loud ; though aristocractic... famiy if one could call it such is mostly to blame.
How could anyone grow up differently? How can kindness be fostered in his young heart if thee is no one to show him its potential?

Secretly he looks for a mentor... feet aching and head spinning... Rocks tumbling around in his skull and making his nose drip.
