Nootau may look just like dad, but he acts more like mom. He is often spacy and spouts randomness. It's not uncommon for him to forget what he was doing, or where he was going. Nootau is fairly oblivious to danger, and may walk right toward something that a smarter wild dog would stay away from.

Nootau believes all the stars like to talk to him. Often he will hold one sided conversations with them. At times this becomes too much to handle and will send the young pup into a frienzy of activity. It isn't until he goes on his constellation quest and finds his constellation that this becomes less of a problem. His constellation stars talk the loudest and help keep him on a straight path.

History:
He spent more than a month out in the rogue lands searching for his constellation. It was an arduous journey full of trials and missteps. One night he gave a howl of frustration, which was answered. He calls his constellation the Hounds of Mourning; for they howl for those lost at night.

Personality:
Cub- Raised up in the bosom of the pride, Najwa is happy and carefree. She is a bit on the naïve side; particularly on the function of the pride, and the evils that happen in the lands beyond. She doesn’t worry about what tomorrow will bring and would much rather be playing with her siblings, her parents, or just anyone she can find.

Juv- With greater age comes more energy. Najwa is a bundle full and loves new games. She’ll figure out for herself that some can move quieter than others. The leopon will learn the joys of sneaking; particularly to come up behind someone and scare them. She’s not doing it to be mean, merely to have fun. While she still has some playfulness from her cubhood, she’s beginning to get an inkling of her sense of responsibility.

Adol- Najwa feels her calling in the pride and begins to hone her skills in sneaking and stealthy maneuvers. She is moving away from childish exuberance into a more focused sense. There’s no problem with having down time to relax and play, but when it’s time to work or train she’s all bustle. She feels not quite a sense of shame but close, when new cubs in the pride are mentioned, as she’s unable to have any of her own.

Adult- Najwa is proud of herself and her abilities. She enjoys walking and moving as quietly as possible all the time. All of her hard work has turned her into a fully grown, lean, fighting member of the pride. The leopon is devoted whole heartedly to its protection and care. She is determined to do her duty to her pride; taking on as many missions as she can. Najwa works equally well singly or in a group.

What the pride says about hybrids and their inability, most of the time, to have cubs no longer bothers her. She’s moved beyond letting the mutterings ruffle her fur. Najwa has discovered she’d rather love indiscriminately. Male or female, any specie, she’s willing to share a quiet, warm night with.
