Delira finished the rest of her food, tossing the stick back into the pile. She licked the excess blood from her lips, and turned her face toward Ka'lak. She listened intently as he told them again about the beasts who were out to hurt them. "Toxic...eyes..?" she asked, imagining such a sight in her head. These beasts sounded very scary and very strong. She chewed her lip, relaxing only when she felt Ka'lak return to her side. She leaned her body against his and sighed softly. "Ka'lak can protect us from the beasts?"

Raven finished and put her stick down wiping her mouth she looked at Ka'lak. ''Demon with toxic eyes?'' she asked after her sister Delira she wonder what type of enemy would have toxic eyes. Raven thought maybe it was a good idea to keep the male around to get more information on what he was talking about.

His form of "affection" was shown to Delira once more, a flick of the tail being given over her own while a "nuzzle" was placed upon her neck... his tongue giving matting her fur as it trailed along her throat. "Yes... Toxi eyes... Eyes that glow in the dead of night like the toxic pits of Hell..." He hissed softly, keeping close to Delira even as she leaned against him. "And yes... Ka'lak can protect you from the beasts...."
A momentary pause was given before he spoke once more. "But Ka'lak will need the pack to stand behind him... together, the Spirals are strong... divided, we are weak." As he spoke, his gaze drifted toward Raven, wanting to see her reaction to this.

Delira gave a little shudder at his descriptions, "Raven and Delira always kept to ourselves! Delira never knew how scary the others could be..." She pressed herself closer to the male, savoring the tingle she received through her body when he touched her. It was something she had not had the pleasure of experiencing before. Her eyes fell on her sister. "Maybe Delira and Raven should stand behind Ka'lak."

Raven listened to her sister and Ka'lak without saying anything she didn't like the choice of words that was said. Raven stand behind someone that wouldn't happen in a million years she was a leader not a follower. She got up and looked at them ''If anyone tries to start trouble we will just have to show them what happens.'' Raven yawned a bit ''The ones with the toxic eyes don't know who they are messing with.''

"Ka'lak has no intentions of over stepping his boundaries with Raven..." He growled softly, noticing how she reacted to the word usage. "Ka'lak sees Raven as Queen of the Hive... Ka'lak merely meant her will protect the Hive for Queen Raven, so long as Ka'lak has support from the rest of the Hive."
Perhaps his quick thinking would sway the female Spiral into trusting him a little more? He didn't really think that it would matter much, another lick being given along Delira's neck, those blue orbs focusing on Raven for the time being.
"Do not under estimate the one with the Toxic eyes.... Ka'lak has seen his madness first hand... it knows no bounds..." He seemed to hiss when speaking this.

Delira nodded along as Ka'lak spoke. She hung off of his every word, and it showed clear as day on her face. There was no doubt that she would follow him to the ends of the earth. She was developing an addiction to his touch, and she wouldn't want to be separated from that. "Delira supports Ka'lak," she said, matter of factly, "With Raven and Ka'lak nearby, Delira cannot be afraid." She looked at her sister and smiled. She could feel Raven's distrust. She knew that she wasn't completely on board with Ka'lak's ideas. But she wanted so badly to persuade her. Delira loved her sister dearly, and she would not want to be placed into a position where she would have to choose between the two.

Raven sighed, crossing her arms over her chest. This was difficult, to say the least. She let her eyes move from her sister to Ka'lak, and then over to an empty wall. She liked the idea of being queen of her own pack...and she loved her sister too much to take away her happiness. But she distrusted Ka'lak completely. He was up to something, and it was something she was sure she didn't like. Her eyes moved back to Ka'lak, and her face hardened. Her clawed hand jutted out quickly and she grabbed the male's forearm and wrenched him away from her sister so that they were close, and out of Delira's earshot. "I will not follow you. I will not stand behind you. I will not trust you," she growled, "But I love my sister, and you've done something to her that I can't take away without hurting her. I will follow her wherever she goes, and protect her, whatever she does. For now, she follows you. That means I have no choice but to stick by her side. But make no mistake...I am not yours to control..." She released her hold on him, allowing him to step back, and smiled at Delira. "Of course, Delira. Of course, I'm with you."

Ka'lak could tell that Raven was facing some form of inner turmoil due to all of this, the idea of such wanting to draw a smirk across those lips. Of course, he couldn't bring himself to do that, brow furrowing itself lightly as that hardened look was flashed his way.
Though, nothing could prepare the male Spiral for Raven's next move, the hand which jutted forth and snagging his own causing a brow to perk itself... then, the sudden jerk came, pulling the were to his feet while producing a faint growl in response. "Ka'lak has done nothing to Raven's sister... Delira has come to Ka'lak willingly because she trusts Ka'lak." He snarled lightly, keeping that voice down as he spoke. "And, though Ka'lak doesn't view Delira as being strong like her sister... Delira has chosen Ka'lak as her own... so no harm will befall her, if that is what Raven worries about."
Was he trying to be manipulative again? Or was he being serious when he mentioned Delira having chosen him? He wasn't really sure himself at the moment, but there was a flare about Delira that did intrigue him. "As for controlling Raven, Ka'lak has no interest in controlling her..." Of course he didn't have interest... because, with holding her sister's "heart", he was able to control Raven without her even knowing it.
As he was released, another soft snarl escaped him before he returned to Delira's side.

Delira's eyes widened as Ka'lak was snatched away from her. Her back straightened and her ears stood up at their best attempt to stay alert to the conversation. She could hear nothing but mumbles though, and she chewed her lip with worry. When Ka'lak was at her side again, she reached for him, linking her arm with his and stroking his fur with her free hand. She nodded to what Raven said to her. "Thank you, Sister," she said quietly, "Delira knows this will be good for us.

Raven nodded to her sister, sighing to herself. This was getting to be too much for her. She had never had distain for anyone like she did for Ka'lak. She stopped short of a growl and pushed herself toward the exit. "I need some air," she said, "But I won't be far off." She bounded up the tunnel to the surface and crawled out of the den into the morning light. The air was warm on her face and she closed her eyes to bask in it a moment. She had a lot to think about. She had to consider both her own and Delira's safety in all of this. Part of her wanted to run to the rest of the tribe right now and let someone know he was here. She shook her head. That would kill Delira...she had to come up with something else...

A soft growl escaped Ka'lak as Raven headed for the entrance to the den. Something about her actions did not sit well with him, brow furrowing itself lightly as the female made her way out of the den suddenly. He would definitely have to keep a close eye on her, the distain she held for him since his arrival being quite apparent from the get go... his mind beginning to sort through things.
He had to keep himself one step ahead of her if he was going to ensure his survival in these dangerous times he'd cast himself into.
"Ka'lak must know something, Delira..." He finally broke his silence, intrigue getting the better of him as blue eyes sought to stare into her own. "Delira has chosen Ka'lak as her own, has she not?" He questioned her quickly, "Or, is Ka'lak wrong to assume such a thing?"
Taking a life mate was never the way of the Spiral, their mentality making it impossible for such a thing to happen... but nothing stated that they could not merely claim one another as partners, even if unofficial.

Delira looked up at Ka'lak as he spoke. She was sure that he was very important to her, and that she wished to be near him always. She nodded her head, eyes fixed on him. "Of course," she said, "Delira will stand by Ka'lak always! Delira wishes Ka'lak to be hers, and to be Ka'lak's. Does Ka'lak want this?" She felt a weird tingle in her belly. It was almost a flutter, as though she were scared of what he might say. Nothing was certain in this world, after all. She slowly placed her hands in his, squeezing gently as she waited for his reply.

Raven moved a little further West, and idea striking her. Perhaps she could put Ka'lak to the test. What would he do if she left him alone with Delira? How much trust could she put in him, really? It would make for a very difficult life if she had to watch the two of them 24-7. Raven shook her head and spoke to herself, "Oh...I just hope they don't do anything stupid..." She sighed and continued walking, keeping safely enough near the den that she could hurry home if anything seemed off.

There was a bit of hesitation on Ka'lak's end as those paw were slowly placed upon his own, the gentle squeeze bringing an odd feeling to him. It wasn't right for a Spiral to be as gentle as she was with a male, but he found it a rather pleasant change given that Raven was the more domineering of the two.
"Ka'lak had a feeling that Delira wished to be his.. and Ka'lak wants this, very much so!" The male Spiral growled, not bothering to crack a smirk or a grin this time around, eerie blue eyes staring into Delira's own. "Ka'lak will protect Delira and Delira's home... especially from the toxic ones!"
If Raven had been present, he was almost certain she would have objected to such a thing... but he needed a mate, even if in the unofficial sense. "Delira is Ka'lak's... and Ka'lak is Delira's!"
