The anime is what got me to love Kenshin, so I recommend watching them or even owning them. (do watch them over and over again in dubbed and sub xd ) But the manga does explain more and the stories flow better.

The anime is the best I've ever seen, though I don't know which version it is....it has a lot of the manga, funny parts, and good ad-ons to it.

Of course I would say it's good. Otherwise I would have never become a fan of the concept! After all, the anime is the only thing I've seen so far...

Kenshin was the second Anime I learned about. InuYasha was the first. Usually, favoritism fades over the years, but Kenshin, even though it's been 2 years since I first started watching Anime and reading manga, is still my favorite Anime. I definitely say it's good!

okay. Season one was great. I liked how they portrayed the Zanza, Oniwabanshu and second Zanza story (the one with Katsu). I think that they should not have touched the Raijuta story from the manga version because i found that it was better in the manga. plus i love the Hiryusen. Also, i did like how they did the Oniwabanshu fights in the manga more than the anime because they were more bloody and nothing beat seeing Han'nya's fully disfigured face, except for the part where Aoshi is standing on the mansion's roof with all four of their heads. The anime could have done without most of the filler though. Sure, seeing Kenshin and co. as Circus workers was funny and seeing Sanosuke freak out about trains and photographs was funny, but did we really need it?

Season two i fell in love with. I literally kissed it when I unpacked everything when i moved in to my new place. I was treating it like Gollum and Sauron's ring. I love the Kyoto arc because they did such an awesome job with it. I loved it from Kenshin's Nightmare to the moment Kaoru said "Welcome home, Kenshin." I honestly can't say anything bad about it, although you may want to kill Hoji at times. He got annoying. But the fights between Kenshin, Saito, Hiko, Sanosuke, Yahiko, Kaoru, Misao, Aoshi and the Oniwaban group vs Shishio, Evil Aoshi and the Juppongatana were so incredibly well done that Hoji's annoyance level disappeared. The animation was top-notch(still is to me), music was really nice, the growth of the characters was dramatic and the story.....oh the unforgetable story.....was not changed at all from the manga. Matter of fact, the only reasons i prefer the manga still are because of the blood and dialogue, which was still fantastic in the anime. I would reccomend the second season to any anime fan.

and finally the third season. *makes a sign out of paper and a tooth pick, then writes season three on it while taking a crap. i then put the sign in the crap* that's my opinion. They should have waited until the Jinchu arc was completed.....

Samurai X.....The first film is and always will be a piece of art. The second film is and always will be a piece of s**t. there i said it.

The movie was good, although i would have preffered it if for the english version they had the series cast, not the ova cast.

It's amazing, but it takes a lot of patience, in my opinion. At first it seems a lot like a 'beat-people-up-anime', and the first plot event disappears into merely two episodes, so you can't figure out that there is a plot for quite a while. The manga's much better that way.

i thought that the anime was cool, though it had quite a few fillers it still stayed basically true to the manga
