Describe a vision he's had:
It always begins with darkness.
Shadows upon shadows, the light receding to the back of his mind.
Before he can focus, there's a spark.
A burst of color, like an aurora across the skies flies at him, shooting him through time and space as if he was on a mint trip.
The swirling varieties blur and sharpen just in front of his eyes, never focusing on one specific spot until they are ready.
THERE!
There are a band of lions, and although the colors swirl on the terrain around them, the lions themselves stick to shades of red and orange. Anger, he recognizes.
There is a focus of pale greys and blues, but he cannot turn to see where the source is, but can recognize it as fear.
This must be a raid of some kind, he can muse for the moment.
A deafening roar, and the section of reds lunge forward, a flash of yellow and gold amongst the ranks. Some are happy to be there. Others, noted in darker shades of angry red, would rather be elsewhere. Perhaps they despise the Captain they're under?
He can only focus for a moment before there are shouts. Whether they are from his vision or not, he cannot tell. But the blues and greys of far away are growing in size, the fear spreading. There is a splash of black, crossing his vision for only a second, but he knows it very well; death.
He would like nothing more than to see how it plays out, but the colors are already fading back to black, and he growls at the retreating scene. The battle! How did it end?! His distress makes his unconscious claws flex, the muscles in his legs straining against nothing but the black that he succumbs to, which is just as swiftly coming back to a den, blurred, but his natural line of sight from the den floor.
It is done, he muses, the scent of blood under his nose though nowhere to be seen on the ground or his fur. A lingering effect of his foresight...
He smirks.
