(I had to find an image online, these are essentially the same except I use blue cake decorating gel for the eyes and black for the nose)
You gotta get: -almond slices -maraschino cherries -almond bark (it's the chocolate that comes in little bricks that you melt for dipping stuff in) -cake decorating gel -hershey's kisses
Make sure you drain and pat the cherries dry, if you attempt to dip them while they're wet the chocolate won't stick. Don't rinse them though, that takes away some of the flavor. Unwrap a bunch of hershey's kisses, lay out the almond slivers on a plate, etc, make sure you set everything up before melting the chocolate, because as the chocolate cools it gets weird and chunky, so you gotta use it up before that happens.
Melt two bricks of chocolate in a small bowl in the microwave for 1 1/2 minutes. Stir it up, dip a cherry in it and lay the cherry on your tray, (use a spoon to help make sure it's covered), take a kiss, holding it from the tip, and get a bit of melted chocolate on the bottom and stick it to the cherry. Then take two almond slices and stick them between the kiss and the cherry for the ears (hopefully there's enough excess chocolate there to keep everything together). Sometimes if the slivers I picked up are too big I'll just snap them in half against the counter really quick. Keep going until all the melted chocolate is used up.
Now you can give them their little faces. And then eat them! blaugh
