Name: Kgosi’atao (Northern Sotho for “King of Rules”)
Personality: Kgosi would not survive without rules. He is actually rather poor at making decisions without there being some sort of guidelines. Kgosi thinks that life is chaotic without the rules, a series of entropic events that will cause disharmony and destruction. Rules keep things in order and prevent the world from spinning out of control. Kgosi has made it a point to become the authority on all things rule-like. In his freetime his is a scholar of the law of nature, learning what rules are set in place in the world around him. He knows every single part of every single rule in the pride’s customs and games. Kgosi knows the exceptions and the loopholes, and can spout off the exact phrasing of each rule on command.
Rules breakers, Kgosi believes, are not only dishonest, but a threat to the entire pride. If you break a rule during a game, don’t be surprise if you see Kgosi following you around for the next day or two afterwards. Any attempts to get him to break rules, including bribing, is met with even harsher consequence.
Despite not being a player, Kgosi is in good physical condition. He has been known to train with the players in order to keep himself in shape for his other role in the pride as an enforcer.
History: Kgosi lived a troubled youth. His father was killed be rogues, his mother fatally injured in an accident, and he himself was swept away in a flash flood. After experiencing so many awful things happen one after the other, Kgosi became very paranoid of the world around him. He found peace through meditation and came to self-proclaimed enlightenment when he realized that the world was a balance of chaos and order. The male devoted himself to Order, and sought out ways to avoid encountering chaos. When he found the Kwa Kikombe and learned of a very specific job that needed filling, Kgosi knew he had found a home.
