Did she... did she just smirk at Petrar? Hmph, this competition was ON.
Petrar wouldn't be taunted by something as easily as that. She had been raised in a hostile family, where you were either the best or stomped on by the rest. It had made her tough. And perhaps a little unstable... But she didn't really notice that, herself.
"I guess playtime with me might not be too exciting... Maybe you'd prefer to play with the slaves instead? You could practice your clawing, or something."

Galius had no idea what was going on, so he just went back to his hunting, sniffing around for a cub to see if he could get one to come out of hiding. If he could, then maybe he could sit down for a bit and havea rest.
Playing with cubs was a lot more work than he would have though, and he still wasn't really sure why he was doing it beyond 'well there's nothing better to do, anyway'.
He was such a sucker.

She look at Petrar and ahook her Head. What a baby. SHe was not going to play her games. Nope not at all. She did not care about that at all. She hit the bush one more time and sniff. She wanted to learn something but it seem she was just making a fool of her self. Wait no! She could not be letting herslef make a fool of her self. Oh no.

It seemed like the cubs were starting to get tired, which might have meant that they were going to pop out more soon. It looked like another had been spotted, though Galius couldn't say for sure.
Good!
He was getting hungry. Erm. But not for cub.

 This little guy got curious by all Petrar's commotion! He's hopped from a bush with a little bit of attitude and displeased by the easy tugging of his own curiosity.
It was just a dumb Adult Argument...

Did that other leopardess just find a cub. No she couldn't have. No way! Not before her. What did she know that Coda didn't! She must find that out! She had too. It would make her better. She sinff the air again. Then went over to new bursh. These cubs where good. To good!

The lion's ears instantly perked up, his eyes seeming to light up. "Searching for cubs you say? Well that sounds like fun!" He knew he probably sounded strange, but Ibooya loved cubs. He loved the silly games they played and how rambunctious they were. Taking care of cubs was his speciality! "Thank you very much, m'lady."

Grr she did find one. That it! She would have to find one also so that other leopardess wouldn't make her look dumb. She never like playing game like this but the leopardess made her look like a fool and she wasn't going to back down now! No Way! No How! She sniff the air and shook a brush with her two from paws.

Galius was moving at a much slower pace than he would have liked, but he supposed it couldn't be helped. He had been there a while, and he hadn't found anything. Maybe they didn't like him because he wasn't familiar to them?
That seemed logical. He might be hesitant to come out of hiding for a stranger, too.

Petrar's face, as the grumpy cub jumped out of the bushes, was one of pure and utter triumph. Even though the fact she had found it was purely chance (with a little bit of bribery, perhaps), she felt like she had won this little competition. She was still the best of the best. But it was only natural she should win. She was great, to the very blood that flowed through her veins.
She wasn't a humble winner, either. She turned to the strange red leopardess and smiled her best fake smile. "Oh, good luck finding one of the others, dear! Just don't trip, we wouldn't want you to hurt that pretty face of yours," she said arrogantly, before casually wrapping her tail around the feet of the red cub, who twitched in annoyance.

Ibooya's green eyes dashed over the dark red cub that bounced out. So there were little ones to find! The lion pranced his paws a little bit and eagerly started to look around. Since that one had popped out of a bush, maybe that's where the others were. Looking around frantically, he found a bush and ran over to it, pawing at it curiously. "Come out little ones!"

Two cubs had been found, but how many more were there? Maybe he shouldn't complain- he was glad to know that there had been at least one more hiding around nearby. After all, he would have been very annoyed to find out there had only been one and he had been making an a** of himself.
Not that it stopped there from being only two, and the same situation still being possible. It was easier to believe that there were more when more than one had been found.
Or that was the hunger talking.

Pembe arched an eyebrow at the leopardesses that joined in, but didn't say anything. They made him a little wary... "It certainly is," he replied and continued to look for a cub. The talk of slaves made him nervous and he made a point to move away from the purple and black leopard. It seemed she then found a cub. Good for her, though he hoped she didn't intend to make the poor cub into a slave...
His face was a little troubled, but he continued to search, poking his head in bushes and behind trees and rocks.

Ugh How hard could this be!? That dumb leopardess did it, so shouldn't she be able to do it. This was so annoy. How could she let herself get caught up into something like this. But no matter! She tap a brush here and then tap a brush there. They had to be somewhere!
