Rebecca felt like an entire weight has been lifted once the Lapdog left. She defiantly didn't like him at all and she knew her group had to be careful around him. She looked at Kaiden and Andrew once Lapdog was out of earshot. "We should watch out for him. I don't like him wondering around in our group. Its like he is looking for reason to catch us doing something wrong. So Kaiden, I see you and Andrew's father worked something out for Andrew's sake." Rebecca gave Andrew the rest of her food as she looked around to see if Chris was released yet.

✖ Skyla stuck around Rebecca's group as she was collecting some of the dirty plates she received. Skyla couldn't help but ease drop on the conversation between Johnson and Rebecca and wonder why Rebecca was being so secretive. Was it possible that Albert and Chris had something going on in the pass? She was more curious to find out. Skyla smiled at the.others as she grabbed a plate from another person as she Farley talked to anyone here. Skyla was wondering if she should as Albert about him and Chris but decided against it.✖

Chris moved past Wesker and stepped out of the room. He turned around to face him. "What? Just show up here and leave? Of course i'm staying. " He said dismissively. He wasn't just going to up and leave, they needed help, and so did he. "Besides," Chris began, "It's nice to actually be around, well, people." He admitted, before turning to exit the building. After losing just about all of his men, Chris had become quite lonely, to say the least. With no one else around but rotting cannibal corpses, a guy can easily go mad. Chris wasn't so sure he'd lost his sanity, but he'd caught himself talking to himself, or some dead zombies, at times. And with the lack of supplies, and the California heat they'd all been suffering through for the past week or so, he knew this would do him some good.

Chris made his way out of the building, ignoring some steely glares and wary looks from some of the people who'd locked him up under Wesker's command. But Wesker had set him free this time, so they'd have to deal with it. Chris approached Rebecca, and found her talking with a young man, the same one who'd given the orders from Wesker to lock him up. He had no grudge against the kid though, he, too, had once been deceived by the man in the sunglasses.

Chris watched the boy leave and sat down near Rebecca and glanced around him at the two men and the little boy before speaking to her. "That's settled for now," He said, "Figured i could be of some good use around here, need any help with anything? " Chris asked, scratching his scruffy chin and looking down at the girl.

Rebecca blue eyes was sharp and pierced as she looked up at Chris for a moment then she just sighed and relaxed her features. "If you bring up you know who I will hurt you. If I wanted to do anything I would have done so already. Why do you think my group is out here and not in there." She pointed to the building behind them." Rebecca had the lack of sleep as she stayed on guard while her group slept during the night since her eyes helped detect anything sharper in the night. "No everything here is fine. You would have to ask around if they need help. The group is just on duty just in case any zombies approach here."

Rebecca closed her eyes a few moments as it stung just a bit then she opened them just in time to see two zombies approaching. Rebecca sighed and stood up as she hopped over the cars and pulled out her blade. She didn't want to alarm anyone else as she usually does this anyways. In away she babys them. To make sure they have at least some normal time out here. Rebecca approached the first that lunged at her as she simplyed stepped to the left and stabbed it in the head then she turned in time to stab the other zombies through the jaw and into its brain. Rebecca yanked her blade out and cleaned it and place it back in its holster.

Chris bit down on his tongue as Rebecca snapped at him. He put up his hands in surrender and nodded. He watched her get up to take care of the two zombies approaching the camp. They were slow, shuffling ones, so they weren't too much of a threat unless they were too close, or in large numbers. It occurred to Chris how much Rebecca had changed over the years. They'd lost contact, and he figured she'd gone on to try and help people. That she did, at least, that's what he thought. That seemed to be all she was doing now, or trying to do. But she was a bit harder. Naturally when the whole world goes to s**t like this, it can harden you up. But he didn't know what he was expecting from her.

Everyone reacted differently to traumatic things like this. Chris, for instance, became a bitter alcoholic with an explosive temper. But he still managed to lead his team and help people. Except when his men died. All of them, that he knew of, now. It hurt, and it felt like it was his fault.

Chris wasn't going to doubt Rebecca's threats, although he was still three times her size, and just as strong too. He watched her for a moment, before looking over at the others. He glanced down at the younger boy, and then looked at the other two. "Nice, uh, little camp you guys got here. It's nice to see a group so large working so well," He said to them. Chris felt a tiny pang of guilt as he remembered his team.

He figured he would make conversation, get on some of their good sides. He held out his right hand to the first man, Kaiden, "Name's Chris,"

Kaidan was trying to ignore Damian as much as he could when the man was staring at him and Andrew. He was glad for the distraction when the man who sat next Rebecca turned to him. He took the offered hand. "Kaidan. Nice to meet you," he said, offering the man a smile. Andrew watched him silently for a few seconds before going back to his food. "Always happy to meet more survivors," he added. Andrew rolled his eyes and Damian scoffed. Kaidan threw a glare at Damian, but didn't say anything.

Chris could sense the tension between the two men and he wondered why. They looked like they hated each other, but were forced to stick with each other. He bit back a laugh at the familiarity of it. He pulled his hand away and extended it to Damian.

"It's amazing how one can scrape up so many people if he needs to. But anything is better than being alone."

Rebecca was walking back towards the group when she heard something. She turned and saw a mob of zombies heading their way. It was only 10 zombies that manage to gather together and Rebecca was already tired enough. She sigh as she pulled out her blade ready to fight. Then out the mob jumped a hellhound as Rebecca knew if she moved it would run towards her group. Rebecca felt the impact of the hellhound as she held her elbow to its throat to keep it from biting her. She held tight onto her blade as the zombies was movinh close to her as she needed to kill this hellhound.

✖ Skyla turned to see Rebecca pinned down as she moved as swift as her father Jake Muller as she ran and slid over one of the cars. She threw one of her blade that was reaching for Rebecca first as she jumped and kicked the hellhound back. She turned and punched a zombie away as she pulled Rebecca out the way. She turned and grabbed her father's blade as she did her father's move as she ran and jumped kick a zombie then uppercut the other. There was still a few zombies left.✖

Damian blinked when the man turned to him, but took it anyway, nodding in greeting. "I'm Damian." Whenever he met a survivor, he always wondered if they'd say anything about his eyes. Kaidan had, but Damian knew why. Kaidan was just watching out for Andrew. And it was partly for that reason that Damian hated Kaidan, because Kaidan was acting like he was Andrew's father, even though his real father was sitting there now. "I agree. I've been alone for years. Not sure how I'm still sane, honestly," he said, a slight gin on his lips.

Albert walked out of the building with Chris' weapons in time to see Rebecca fighting off a small group of zombies. He crossed to Chris and handed the weapons off to him before grabbing his own gun and moving to help Rebecca fight off the zombies.

Chris nodded, "I know how that feels." Eventually the only thing that'll keep you sane is the occasional company of a cannibalistic corpse. At least that will keep you busy. Give you something to do: a purpose. Chris turned to watch the commotion. He stood, reaching for his gun out of habit, but it wasn't there. He mentally swore. He was still waiting on Wesker. Rebecca needed the extra help. Chris turned to find Wesker bringing him back his weapons just in time. Well speak of the devil.

Chris readied his weapon and went to help fight off the infected. There was only a few left, but one could easily become overwhelmed. Besides, if they didn't keep the noise down, more would come. Chris decided on his knife, for the fact that it was virtually silent on it's own, and wouldn't draw much attention due to noise.

He approached one of the infected and thrust the blade down into the rotting skull of one, and yanked the bloody blade out, before swiping quickly at an approaching zombie. He raised his foot and kicked the corpse down before stomping on it's head. It's skull easily crushed under Chris' weight.

✖ Skyla turned around and kicked a zombie back. She turned in time to see Chris stomp on a zombie. She ran towards him as she manage to jump over him using the zombie that fell before her tackled the one that was ready to bite Chris. She took the full impact of the fall as she grabbed hold of the zbie she tackled and snapped its neck. Skyla rolled over as a zombie tried to pounce on her as it barley missed her. She knew better then this as she was so close to revilling her true identity.✖

Rebecca was grateful for Skyla saving her but there was no time to give her thanks. Her vision was getting blurry as she turned and kicked a zombie back from lunging at her. She was breathing heavily but she refused to give in to Ber body begging to stop and have some rest. She wouldn't be any use to anyone if she was dead, Rebecca was fighting for her group to live on and have a fighting g chance in this world. If Rebecca didn't have anyone, then she would have gladly stopped fighting there wasn't anything to fight for. But this group kept that spark of hope to live burning in her and she will gladly defend them all until her last breath.

Rebecca turned in time to dodge an attack until a rumble quake shook the street. Rebecca did her best to get a hold of her vision as the floor trembled beneath them. Rebecca stumbled forward as she pushed back a zombie but then she felt an impact smacking her from behind. Rebecca was sent rolling across the street but she was crushed as she was knocked into some zombies. Rebecca heard a scream as she looked up to see a El Gigante. Rebecca tried crawling away from the zombies as her breath was knocked out of her.
