Kain was unsettle by the sigh, granted the battle wasn't what we hoped but it was more the sun was going fast and Kain wanted to sleep. Most likely the two should of not as soon as they came to their resting place but none the less kain was set on finishing this battle.
The syther charging straight on was led astray as Kain with the speedy sword rolled out of the way. With an easy turn Ioch had throw the boulders again at the syther's back hoping to hit this time, hurtiling them over Kain's shoulder.

Both trainer and Pokemon were thinking the same thing when Kain moved out of the way with Ioch in hand, as in most battles trainer interference wasn't allowed. Kairi found herself frowning, and Sylar would be hissing in anger at the Honedge. The Scyther would be struck with a couple of the rocks, and he would slice through a few others in his rage at essentially being cheated. "Another Night Slash Sylar," Kairi would say, the tone in her voice almost deadly, and it would be clear that she wasn't exactly pleased with what had happened either. Sylar would rush forward again, this time simply attempting to hack away rather than his usual precise slices. However, his movements couldn't be as precise when his body was aching from being pummeled by the rocks, but, Sylar would do the best he could with what energy he had left.

Ioch was suddenly frightened by the scary face of his only friend, what came over him? what was making him so angry? Ioch didn't understand. Ioch wasn't trying to hurt Sylar, he thought this was fun, did he hurt him? The sword shiver in kain's hand, he didn't know what to do. Ioch quickly lept of kains hand and flew into his sheath on his side. Ioch was too frigtend. Kain knowing what was wrong, held up hsi hand with an open palm to show his little swords forfeit.
"Hey K" kain said in a worried voice, "Do you want to keep doing this, I don't feel like I'm at my full ability and only half assing it. I'm really freakin tired, are you the same?"

Seeing the fear on his friend's, uhh... face? Sylar calmed down. He hadn't intended to frighten the Honedge, but, he hadn't realized that his buddy was so inexperienced in battling. The Scyther wandered over to Kain's side, lightly nudging the Honedge's sheath with one of his scythes. "Scy... Scyther..." he called out, try to explain that he hadn't meant to scare him. "Sylar, he's probably not gonna come back out right now. You should return for now anyways," Kairi said, recalling her Scyther to his ball.
Kairi looked at Kain questioningly for a moment, and shook her head. "Sure I'm tired, but, we agreed to a three on three battle, and I intend to finish this. I don't like leaving battles like these unfinished. The whole point of this was to test our skills against one another, and a decent trainer will be able to finish what they started, even if they are tired. If you're half assing it, then that's your problem, not mine," she said, her words showing that she really had learned a few things about being a trainer from spending time with her dad. Alexander nodded, agreeing with his daughter's words. "And besides Kain, this is as much for our Pokemon as it is for us. When was the last time they got to battle in a safe environment? I know this sounds strange, but, my Pokemon are actually taking it relatively easy right now because they know their not in any real danger. If Ioch had troubles with Sylar coming after him, how do you think he'd deal with being in a real fight? One where he might actually get seriously injured? You can't have him hiding away like that if us Snagems are on a mission, because you'll be the one paying the price for it. Ioch is practically attached to your hip, if he goes and hides in his sheath, there's no stopping another Pokemon from continuing to attack and injuring you instead," Kairi suddenly seemed like a much older person than she was, her words just flowing out. Her father was almost shocked, he hadn't been sure that Kairi had gotten his lessons into her head, but, apparently he had been a better teacher than he had hoped. "Do you understand?" Kairi asked finally, looking at Kain curiously again.

Kain was shocked at this as well. He meant no insault or trouble more that he was having trouble feeling so involved. Kain never has had the luxery of a calm battle it almost was alien to the root. Though she was right about Icoh, but Kain knew it was more that Ioch was like Kain and how he felt now. Ioch is scared of his friends and family being angry with him, or disapointed, something Kain was feeling. "I've never had a calm battle I hope you know that right? I've never fought a gym or a tournement. Every time I battle its to protect someone or something bent on destroying. So If this is how it is then I'll protect you idea of me! Cloven go!" Kain was holding back tears from the subtle but hurtful scolding, he never trained with anyone before, just with dummies and simulations. So he's never had to go by the rules or standards of normal battles.
The ball would explode with the blue totodile letting out its little roar. "Use power up punch on what comes next!"

"I know Kain, that's why I tried to explain, to help you understand. That's also why I wanted us to finish this," the redhead said, a gentle smile gracing her lips. Kairi knew she had the advantage in the sense of having trained with others, whereas Kain hadn't. She also knew that she had more experience with battling in general. Pulling out her third and final Pokeball for this fight, Kairi sent out Griselda, her Rhyhorn. The Spikes Pokemon would roar as she was sent out, ready for anything.
"Alright Gris, let's start this off with a Take Down," Kairi commanded. Griselda nodded, snorting lightly. The Rhyhorn would charge towards the small Totodile, her head lowered slightly, knowing that her horn would not injure the Big Jaw Pokemon too badly, as it had been sanded down and dulled after it had been broken in a fight long ago. However, the sheer force of a charging Rhyhorn was a whole other story...

cloven powerup punch would collide with the face of the charging stone rhino, but that didn't stop him from being slammed into the fence behind them, making it rattle and wave. "cloven!"Kain hollered in fear " use aqua tail! Aim for the skull!"
Cloven would squirm out of the hold and flip in the air bring its tail center towards the stone marauder's skull.
The red yes of Kain would flash brightly but never turning purple, he was enjoying this one hundred percent him, something he rarely can do.

The Power-Up Punch had hurt, but, not enough to stop Griselda. She rubbed at her nose with one of her front feet, as if to rub away the pain. "Stomp, my dear Griselda~" Kairi called out, smiling excitedly. The Rhyhorn would rush the Totodile again, taking the Aqua Tail to the face, not flinching at the strike. The Spikes Pokemon was too focused on the task at hand, rearing up on her hind feet before crashing her front ones back down, causing the earth to shake a little beneath her weight.

Cloven would have no time for a counter attack. The grand beast would land right on him, forcing a loud pitched sreech from the blue croc. Cloven had no weight to throw around like his enemy here. Cloven had lost hard, so much he may need to go the center.
Kain shooing Griselda off of Cloven he picked him up, gave him a quick snuggle and returned. "Good job buddy" Kain said with a slight smile, "Good job."
Kain would give Kairi a congratualtive smile and place his hands in his pockets. He walked up to her father where he hoped no scolding would come from him for his earlier acts as well, kain already couldn't get the words of Kairi out of his mind. He needed to mount up to a better image.
Cloven knew of his size and inability he wanted to grow stronger.
And Ioch was to scared to rethink his battle as still too scared to face even himself, something that would have to change.

Griselda would move quickly, or, as quickly a Rhyhorn could, when Kain shooed her away from Cloven. The Rhyhorn hoped that she hadn't hurt the little Totodile too badly, though, she was proud of herself for the win against a Pokemon that should have been much stronger than her based on their types. Kairi walked over to Griselda, wrapping her arms around the Rhyhorn's neck and giving her a quick hug. "I know we haven't battled much lately Gris, but, you did wonderfully today," Kairi said with a smile. Griselda rubbed her face lightly against one of Kairi's arms, letting out a little happy growl. The redheaded girl would recall Griselda back to her ball then, knowing that she'd probably need at least a little bit of a rest after having been hit with a Power-Up Punch and an Aqua Tail.
Kairi would walk over to where both Kain and her father were currently standing, taking a hold of Kain's arm carefully, a little unsure of herself for the moment despite her win. Alexander smiled at the both of them. "You both did a great job out there. A couple fumbles here and there, from both of you, but, that's normal. Good job you two." At her father's words, Kairi found herself getting embarrassed, she knew her fumbles were with the beginning of the fight, when she had allowed Nagini to get so hurt by Shadder. She'd have to give some extra attention to the Ekans later. "Now, you two probably would like to get some rest, as I'm sure your Pokemon would like as well. I have a small healing center in the house if you'd like to let them stay there for the night," Kairi's father said calmly, smiling at his daughter and her boyfriend.
"Sounds good to me. How about you Kain?" Kairi would ask with a smile.

feeling his arm tugged he let out a small blush nothing too noticeable or at least he hoped."Hey thanks" he said at kairi's dad," Yeah K I think that sounds great you got any balls you want me to take to the healer? You want to meet in bed love?"." Kain said humbled by the offer by the lovely family.
Kain would give a yawn and a stretch as he wandered inside placing his Poke'balls on the healer and headed back where he would go and quickly talk to Kairi's dad. "Hey thanks for letting us stay with you, this means a lot to K that you and me got to meet, and so far I'm having a great time. Spite having a lot of trouble with new people I feel I can talk to you sir" Kain said in a fragile but sincere voice.

"I can take my Pokeballs over to the healer on my own, so, it's alright. I'll meet you in bed~" Kairi would chime. She would give her dad a quick hug before she headed inside. Arranging her Pokeballs neatly in the healing center, Kairi trusted all her Pokemon would be well rested and ready for a day of fun by the time morning rolled around. The redhead decided to sneak off to the bedroom while Kain and her father were still talking, slipping out of her usual clothes and into a black, silky nightgown, red lace adorning the bottom edge. She pulled her hair up into a loose ponytail, wanting to try and keep it out of her face tonight. Besides, she was fairly certain that Kain wouldn't want to be drowning in her hair in the middle of the night. She decided to take a quick glance at herself in the mirror that hung on the wall, admiring herself for a moment, though silently cursing her scars all the same, causing her to return to her customary glare.
Alex couldn't help but chuckle. "Trust me, I know how much this means to Kairi. Honestly, it means just as much to me to be able to meet the boy she talks so much about. And I can see why," he said with a gentle smile. "I can see how much she cares about you. And what she said during your battle proves that. I know she has a habit of being a bit obnoxious when she's speaking the truth like that, but, her heart is in the right place. I know she's just trying to help you have the same bond with your Pokemon as she has with hers. And, it makes me proud to know that she's learned so much from me during her visits." The redheaded man looked to the Houndour pups who had fallen asleep curled up with their mother and he smiled. "Take care of her better than I did, alright? She needs you. I know she doesn't want to admit that she does, but, trust me. Now, why don't we all get some sleep? We can all talk in the morning."

Kain would give a glowing smile just before he head off down the hall. Stopping when he saw a the golden eye in a staring contest with itself. With a sigh Kain would slide up behind her wrapping his arms around her, giving a gentile squeeze. "You know your so cute when you do up your hair like that? I like it" Kain would give chuckle before turning her around so he could undress. With a hanger his coat, pants, and shirt, hung nicely on the rack. Pulling up a pair of purple pajama pants tied up by a small string. With is pale upper body, he leaned down into the bag lifting up a grey t-shirt, suspending it in the air. His red eyes would gently reflect on the shirt, his stare not moving. Fabric mono toned falling through he air back to its hold. "No I think I won't" the lanky man said leaning up and looking up at his love "I think i'll be alright." His hand rubbing one of his gashes on his side. He would grab Kairi by the arch of her back, pulling her in tightly laying hi lips on the soft pinkness of her. Releasing from the kiss Kain would not even attempt to hide the blush.

Kairi couldn't help but lean into Kain's arms for a moment when he wrapped them around her. She felt so... safe there. The redhead felt a blush creeping onto her cheeks, and twirled her finger in one of the red curls that hung just in front of her face. "Try not to get used to it. You should know by now that I only do my hair up like this to sleep," Kairi said, watching Kain closely. However, there was something that the girl had been thinking about, and she decided to mention it now. "And besides... I-I'm kind of considering getting it cut.. It hasn't been cut in a while, and, well... I think it might be a nice change," she mumbled, glancing down at the floor, still absentmindedly playing with her hair. She was actually taken off guard when Kain pulled her close again and kissed her, causing her to tense up and try to push him away initially, her hands pressed hard against his chest, trying to squirm out of his grasp.
After a moment of this, Kairi realized what she was doing and leaned into Kain's arms again. "S-sorry... Y-you really shouldn't do that so suddenly..." the redhead trailed off, looking up at Kain with a guilty expression in her eyes. "I'm still not so great with the whole spontaneous contact thing."

Kain tried to picture Kairi with hair that would likely only meet her shoulders, maybe covering half of her face in the cute way he likes. A stupid blush would snake on his cheeks as he thought.
After the attempted kiss, Kain looked down, slight scratch marks on his chest. Knowing how she was Kain didn't even flinch, not to frighten her more. Kain would lean down meeting eye to eye with her, and spoke in a out of character confident tone, "So you would prefer like this when you can see it coming?" With the last word Kain rand his finger up Kari's neck into another kiss this one much slower but deeper than before.
