oh i also like chrysanthemum tea and earl grey.

A friend of mine got me Chrysanthemum tea once. It's a really good tea, but the one she bought me already had rock sugar in there, so it was way too sweet. gonk Next time I make it, I'm pulling out all those sugar crystals.

Yeah, you definitely don't need to add sugar to chrysanthemum tea. Obviously a lot of bottled ones will do so because...it's bottled tea, but the flavor should definitely stand by itself.

My family often gets a bunch of chrysanthemums to brew the tea ourselves. The house ends up smelling like flowers for days.

Ooooo, that sounds like a great idea. biggrin Any advice on making your own?

I love oolong tea, Jasmine and green tea~ I also really enjoy those floral teas, like roses. The tea leaves are actual rose buds that you put in the water and tastes like roses and really beautiful to see.

I've never had rose tea, but I've had food with rose water in it (not the same thing, I know). I'll have to see if I can find some rose tea...

Black tea with sweet hydrangea

Like black tea but with a delightfully sweet finish

Nothing that you wouldn't find online, I'm afraid. I've never been very involved in the process (my mom doesn't trust anyone else to do it properly), and we don't really do anything special with ours, so...

So what is "really dark"? Brewing it longer than the box says or putting more tea leaves in that necessary?

I like sugarless tea.

I used to like putting sugar in tea but now I find sugary tea... not nice.

I tend to put a little honey in some herbal and oolong teas, but not really in green, white, or jasmine. Sugar covers up the subtle flavors, so I only really use it for stronger teas.

This. Sugar works well for black tea but not much else. (Then again, I'm not fond of most sweet things in general.)

Hi All!
I like all kinds of teas...
Fav green tea is a combo blend of jasmine, orange, and passion fruit put out by Lipton.... yum!

My hubby likes strong green tea. he gets it every time we go eat sushi at Fugi's.

A good place to check for specialty teas is Whole Foods.

Ooo! Green, jasmine, orange, and passion fruit sounds good... too bad I don't like passion fruit. xd I bet it's a good tea.

I think there's a whole foods nearby... I should check it out sometime.

WF carries Celestial Blends that are awesome...

Cuddle Beary, is cute, the tin has little bears dancing around on it, has rasp, cran, and blue berry...

I haven't had much fruit tea (other than some herbals that have citrus).

Any you'd recommend?
