Leslie would nod to Keiko as she stated her plan, quickly resuming her one-woman trudge down the street in efforts to locate where this sailor had gone and what this story of his was going to be about. If Keiko wanted to chase some unrelated lost Pokemon that....was....native to Iron Island. Nah, sailor was the best lead. This had to be a coincidence.

The pair of girls would split up with Leslie heading towards the north east of Nimbasa to find her way out of the city and towards their destination while Keiko would head to the south west portion of the city, the residential area of Nimbasa in search of a certain Riolu. If the little guy was hungry or if someone picked it up she would probably find it there.
After heading past the subway station and walking over a bridge Leslie would find herself on the entertainment street of Nimbasa, the Big Stadium, Small Court, and Musical Theater glimmering along the path. "Oh. My. God!" A young woman dressed in the finest of designer Cincinno furs and designer Bouffalant leather boots. "You, you're a hybrid right? Oh my god you're perfect!" The long haired blonde woman exclaimed with glee, waving her tiny little purse around. "You just have to join my show! Please. Please. Please." She begged Leslie.
As for Keiko, she would find the residential area of Nimbasa less glamorous, this was not where the rich lived, instead those who clean up and served them in Nimbasa lived here. Towering apartment buildings greeted her, each one more decrepit than the last. She noticed a group of kids playing with a very old patched up basketball in a run down court, a laundry basket being used as a hoop but they didn't seem to mind. Astonishingly enough she would see at least two hybrids along the way, one was a Leavanny hybrid sitting on a stoop, knitting away (not with grass mind you). The second one, what appeared to be a Palpitoad hybrid (it had arms, mind you, just not old enough to evolve again), would approach Keiko however. "What's a pretty lady like you doing in such a rough part of Nimbasa?" He would ask.

Keiko got visibly nervous when the Palpitoad hybrid approached her, knowing full well what happened to pretty ladies when they got lost in rough parts of town. "I heard that someone's Riolu got lost, so I started looking for it. But I don't know this town, so I wound up getting lost, myself," she explained.

Leslie would turn her gaze towards the woman with a quizzical and approaching full-on baffled look before responding. "I am a hybrid. And why do you want me for things?" Leslie asked, doing her best to sound as off-putting as she could. This seemed like time to be diplomatic, apparently.

"A Riolu, eh? That thing the police department was going on about?" The Palpitoad hybrid ask, his skin oozing with whatever disgusting secretion his kind conjured up. "I saw something like that, actually. My neighbor up in C3 found something just like that. We don't mess with the coppers too much around here though, they ain't too friendly to the city's poor you know." The hybrid admitted with an angry croak. "Want me to show you? Come on." He insisted as he almost hopped off into the apartment building behind him. As for Leslie the glamorous girl she was talking to just giggled at Leslie's question. "Not things, girlie, but for the show I'm putting on at the Musical Theater! Don't tell me you haven't heard of it. They are like Pokemon Contests you would find in Hoenn or Sinnoh but with a musical focus! They started to allow hybrids and you would just be perfect!"

"Oh, thank you," Keiko said, calming down visibly as the Palpitoad hybrid seemed to be a decent person. She hadn't let her guard down, though, as this could easily be a trap. Still, she'd try to seem positive as long as it wasn't obvious that she was being lured into peril.

Still, she'd try to seem positive as long as it wasn't obvious that she was being lured into peril. The way up to the third floor was simple enough, though Keiko would pass by several of the dirty poor that lived here, human and hybrid alike. It was kind of sad to see the conditions they were living in. "Here we go!" Croaked the hybrid as they arrived at the promised apartment, the toad man knocking on the door with a rhythm, in fact all the hybrid's movements seemed to have a beat to them. The door would open and on the other side stood an elderly lady with a small blue creature in her arms. The lady would smile at the pair to reveal that her mouth was completely devoid of teeth, though despite this she seemed like a very well kept and sweet woman, regardless of how run down her apartment was. "Can I help you dears?" She asked, the hybrid just motioning for Keiko to go forward.

Keiko indeed stepped forward, feeling nervous without knowing why. "I met a trainer today who said his Riolu was missing. Have you seen a Riolu wandering around here, ma'am?" she asked.

The blue dog-like creature in her arms stirred a bit as Keiko spoke, but it did not awaken. "What's a Liru, my dear?" She asked. She must be hard of hearing.

"A Ri-o-lu," Keiko enunciated. "It's a small, blue, dog-like Pokemon... that can stand on it's hind legs. Like a human!" Only after saying that did she notice the Riolu in the old lady's arms.
"It's trainer really misses it," she said, in hopes that the Riolu would want to go with her after hearing that. She didn't want to say 'like the one in your arms', for fear of being seen as aggressive.

"I found it digging through a trash can, it looked hungry and scared so I brought the poor dear inside, cleaned it up, and gave it something to eat." She said, stroking the Pokemon. "But I suppose if it has a trainer I can't keep it..." The old lady said, obviously sadden over having to give up what was probably the only company she had in a long time.

"I'm sorry," Keiko said, feeling bad for the poor old lady, and for expecting bad things to happen when she got here. "I"m sure Riolu's trainer will be glad you took such good care of it, though."

The little old lady would let out a sigh before giving the Riolu one last pat on the head and held it out for Keiko to take. It looked like the woman was almost going to cry over having to give up her little friend.

"I'm sorry," Keiko sighed when she saw the only lady's sad face. She didn't like having to do this, but she knew that if the Riolu's trainer, or especially the police, knew that the Riolu was here, they would have been far ruder about reclaiming it.
With the Riolu in her arms, she turned to the Palpitoad hybrid that led her hear. "Thank you," she said. "I might never have found this Pokemon if you didn't help." A bit of an exaggeration, she knew, but she felt it was the likeliest scenario.

For a brief moment she would see the faintest signs of the hybrid blushing, at least it looked like he was blushing, his cheeks turning into a brighter shade of blue. "Oh don't mention it!" He said bashfully. "I'm going to keep granny company so be careful on your way out."
