"I'd rather have a stiff drink," Night grumbled in response to Sub's offer of ice cream before turning her near emotionless gaze towards Chaos, "You grabbed my a**, then continued being an a** while I attempted to beat the snot out of you for it."
"You know, on second thought, V, let's go for that ice cream. Or coffee. Anything really, I just gotta get away from this damn building before I burn it, and everyone inside it, to the ground."

"Wait, that was you?" Chaos asks, stifling a laugh. "Huh. Always wondered what happened to Ale. Always figured Night was just some other chick with a hard-on for torturing dudes with Extrasensory."
Chaos was about to make another comment when his Pokegear started ringing. With a huff, he answered it, putting earphones on to keep the conversation private. "Yeah. ...yeah? That was the plan. ...yeah. Later. I gotta go."
With that, Chaos was gone, leaving Keiko, Sub, and Night to themselves.

"Whatever you say!" Sub said to Night with a smile before turning to offer Chaos to come along with them but before he could the man had already taken his leave. "...sociable as ever, huh?" He said to himself as he walked off. "Oh well. I know a great place not far from here. They use fresh daily shipments of Moo Moo Milk to make their ice cream, it's to die and then come back to life for!" He chuckled before almost skipping off, expecting the others to follow.

"That was....odd, even for him," Night mumbled as she watched Chaos walk off. Shaking her head, the hybrid followed behind Sub. She was beyond ready to leave this bloody city and get back to being herself.
However, that was not to be. The group had travelled just over a block when a voice called out, "Ya know, some o' th' gang tol' ya'd been turn'd inta some weird a** Ninetales freak. Didn' b'lieve 'em tho. But, hell, I'd recognize dat a** anywhere."
Night froze mid step at the sound of the voice calling. Fur standing on end and eyes wide, she slowly turned to face the very large man.
"Hello, Great Lei," Big Al said, crossing his arms and grinning smugly at her.
"s**t."

"Well, he-" Keiko started to explain, but stopped short when she heard someone she didn't recognize talking. When she heard Night's reaction to that person, her first instinct was to call on Hera or Natalia to defend her, but she didn't go that far. She merely stared at the stranger, expecting him to attack first. Which didn't happen. At least, not right away.

The air would slowly begin to rise in temperature as the hybrid tried desperately to calm the panic that had threatened to overtake her. This was not someone she was prepared to deal with right now. Soon enough, the temperature would begin reaching levels that were well past uncomfortable for the two humans beside her, bordering on near unbearable.
Then, as though it had never happened, the temperature dropped back to normal as Night turned to face Big Al with a big, fake, a**-kissing smile on her face, "Hey, Alexander. Been a while. This?" She motioned down to her fur-covered body, "This is just the latest trend in body modification. You should totally try it. You'd make a great Garbodor hybrid."
"Wha' th'hell is dat s'posed ta mean?" Big Al asked, uncrossing his arms and taking a small step towards Night.
Night simply laughed and resisted the urge to take a step back. It would not do to show weakness in front of Al, "Do I really need to spell it out to you? You never were very bright. All brawn and no brains. Kinda surprised you kept Alale going this long without me leading it. Anyways, it means you're trash, Alexander. Always have been, always will be."
"Trash, huh?" Big Al laughed softly, "Well, ya'd know all 'bout dat, wouldn't'cha? Speakin' o' trash, waddya say ya dump those two losers her wit and come wit us to da underground. Boys can' stop goin' on bout what a great piece o' a** ya were back in da day. Sure dey'd like ta get anotha taste o' ya. Wouldn' mind a go wit ya m'self."
Night couldn't quite stop the shiver that travelled down her spine at those words. However, she was extremely proud of herself for keeping the tremors out of her voice, "Oh? Sorry Alexander, didn't you hear? I'm into girls now. But I'd be more than happy to introduce you to Ouro and Dorkfish. I'm sure they'd both love to meet you and your boys."

If Keiko's nervousness wasn't obvious when Al showed up, it was cranked up to a thousand now. The way Al talked to Night made her more uncomfortable than she'd ever felt, and to make it worse, his accent reminded her of someone who treated her the same way. But her greatest fear was that this stranger would start taking interest in her. Fortunately, that didn't happen. She was just seen as a nobody, which worked wonders on her nerves. But just as she was starting to calm down, the worst possible voice to hear echoed off the walls of the buildings around them.
"Sorry about that. Rose can nag with the best of them sometimes, but it just means that she cares. So, what were we talking about?"
Chaos. Big Al was bad enough. Granted, Keiko knew that Chaos had calmed down quite a bit after settling down, but she didn't trust him any further than I could throw him, and even that wasn't very far, what with Chaos being a musclebound psychopath and all. But as if his return wasn't bad enough, he said just about the worst thing anybody could say at this point, as he turned to face Al.
"Who's this ~/~"

At first Sub would hang back and let Night handle this old acquaintance of hers. He didn't know who this 'Alexander' or whatever his name was is so he thought it best to stand back and let things take its course. It wasn't until the large man suggested that Night was a 'piece' of a certain something did he step forward and speak up. "You know what's funny? Back in the day I used to run with Team Rocket, ever heard of them? Any who, for a time I pretty much handled all their operations in Goldenrod City and for a person to be given jurisdiction over such a large and important city like Goldenrod had to mean they were pretty high up. Now the funny part is despite all my prestige and connections in this city I've never once heard of you nor seen your first. I heard of Night here, back when she had less fur but not you. Hm, strange. I wonder why that is..." Sub said, tapping his chin in dramatic thought. Whether or not parts of that was true was anyone's guess, it's hard to say with Sub.

"They call me Big Al," the man said, momentarily shifting his attention to Chaos, "An' yer intrudin' on a reunion o' sorts wit my ol' girl, Lei. So git lost."
Shaking her head at Chaos's reappearance and comment towards Al, Night chose to answer Sub's comment rather than say anything to Chaos just yet, "We were small time, V. Mostly thefts and the occasional mugging. Though we dreamed of one day becoming as big as Team Rocket. Alexander was the muscle while I was the face and brains."
"Yeah, 'til you an' dat b***h motha o' yers got me an' da boys thrown in jail. S' why we decided ya needed t'be taught a lesson. Still th'best damn lay I ever had. Ain't neva had any girl fight back quite as much as you." He gave Night another smug grin and a wink, to which she responded with a nearly inaudible whimper and a shudder. Yes, you read that right. Night whimpered.
Thankfully, the street they were currently on was mostly deserted, many of the people having vacated the area when they suspected something unpleasant was about to happen. For the small sound that escaped Night was just enough to cause her most protective pokemon to burst from his pokeball of his own accord and face down (literally) the man who had caused such distress in his trainer. Enter Dorkfish.

Ms Edyn Thankfully, the street they were currently on was mostly deserted, many of the people having vacated the area when they suspected something unpleasant was about to happen. For the small sound that escaped Night was just enough to cause her most protective pokemon to burst from his pokeball of his own accord and face down (literally) the man who had caused such distress in his trainer. Enter Dorkfish. As Dorkfish appeared Sub stepped back a bit. Not only was he a big fish but he was a Gyarados, and Sub knew a thing or two about Gyarados. Even on dry land these leviathans could be trouble, a lot of trouble. "Yeah, I think I must just let you handle this one, Dorkfish." The man said, taking a few more steps back to give the Pokemon space to do what it needs to.

"Heh, I used to be into that fight back ~/~," Chaos shrugged, as if that sort of thing were beneath him, now. "Don't worry, kid, you'll become a man eventually."
Chaos was waiting for Al to retort to his comment when Dorkfish came out to play. "Not bad," Chaos commented, as if appraising Dorkfish like it were freshly caught. "Though if you're planning to have a little fun, I hope you don't mind if I join in," he added, letting his Houndoom, Deathgiver, out of its ball, who responded to being let out by snorting menacingly at Al.
Keiko had kept quiet up to this point because she was absolutely terrified. The thought of the events Al described shook her to her core. The disgust she felt for Night's parents paled in comparison of the sheer, unforgiving hatred she felt for Al, but she was far too afraid of being subjected to such treatment to do anything about it. Strangely, out of all of the people present, it was Chaos's words that gave Keiko the strength to speak.
"You're worse than scum, you know that," Keiko growled, letting Audrey out of her ball. Audrey faced down Al, yelling the one word he probably heard most in his life. "No!"

Big Al took several steps back as he stared up at the monstrous sea serpent towering above him, feeling as though he were the bigger threat than the other two. Suddenly, Big Al didn't feel so big.
"Thanks," Night said softly, both to Chaos and Dorkfish, as she placed one hand on the large pokemon. Drawing strength from him, Night turned her attention to Al, "Alexander, meet my Dorkfish. Raised him from a Magikarp and, aside from Heru, he's quite possibly my most loyal pokemon. At hearing the high praise coming from his trainer, Dorkfish roared and swished his tail around in a show of intimidation, taking extra care not to hit any of the humans around him. He wanted nothing more than to end the existence of the worthless human causing his Night distress, all he needed was one word from her and the creep would be lunch.
"Ain't nuthin' special," Big Al said, not taking his eyes off the Gyarados, "Double weakness t' electricity. Bet a pikachu could take dat ting down, no problem."
"But you don't have a pikachu, do you?" Night asked, quickly catching on to Al's hesitancy to call his own pokemon, "Or any other electric type. I'd be willing to bet you still have that Geodude, maybe evolved to Golem by now but wouldn't matter. Even fully evolved he's still stand no chance against Fish. I suggest you turn around and leave before I decide to let him have his way with you."
"Dis ain't ova, Lei," Big Al said, looking back towards a pair of officers quickly making their way towards the commotion, "Nex' time, ya won' have yer friends aroun' ta help protec' ya. An' I'll have sometin ta take out dat fish."
Without another word, Big Al turned his back to the group and walked away, leaving them to deal with the cops.
"Everything okay over here?" The first cop asked while his partner watching Al walk away. Night simply leaned her head against Dorkfish's side, silently signalling for Sub to take over. She was completely exhausted after everything that has happened and couldn't deal with this now. Besides, Sub had so much more finesse than she did.

Chaos was gone by the time the police showed up. He had earned a reputation as a good worker and an honest person in Goldenrod, but he didn't trust his past not to come back and bite him in the rear end.
Keiko, on the other hand, just hugged Audrey and let her back in her ball, grateful beyond words that Alexander wasn't around anymore. Even though Big Al wasn't even remotely interested in her, she couldn't help but be uncomfortable around him. People who talked and acted like that just made her nervous beyond comprehension.
Keiko wanted to explain what happened, but found that she couldn't come up with a good enough reason for three people to pull Pokemon out against one man. As much as a talker as Big Al was, he didn't actually do anything to any of them. So she kept quiet and let Sub handle it.

Sub would stifle a chuckle as 'Big Al' got scared and took off, Dorkfish proving too much trouble for him and the cops just adding on a layer of trouble he did not desire. With the threat of a man with too prestigious of a name gone Sub would turn to face what he deemed one of the most minimal threats he has ever come across in his life, the Goldenrod police.
"Officers! How are you? Us? We're doing just fine, thank you for asking. I know what you're wondering though, what's with the giant fish out of water? That's a good question, isn't it? And don't worry no street battles were going on here!" He said with a laugh as he went over and patted Dorkfish on the side, probably not a smart thing to do but he did it anyways. "This big boy here is actually pretty famous in the Pokeathlon circles and my friend here-" He said, gesturing to Night. "-as well, this Gyarados being her most famed Pokemon. These two dominate in the Ring Drop. In fact, with her other Pokeathlon team mates they are known as the Atrocious Aggregation of Annihilators, the Terrible Triple A. Ever heard of them? Of course you have! What kind of Goldenrod local with an ounce of pride in their city couldn't know about one of their own greats?" He question them.
"Any who, Capital A, as she is called, was just humoring a fan and showing off one of her terrible trio. Nothing wrong with that, right? I mean, she puts butts in the Pokeathlon bleachers and brings this city a lot of money." He explained, sporting a wide toothy grin most of the time. How does he think this stuff up?
