The dance floor still had the same amount of birds since the last time he came around, which was utterly confusing to the poor boil but he did his best to shrug it off. The more birds there were on the floor, the better his chances of getting rid of them while he danced (or tried to). First he made sure that the masked creature knew he was going out on the floor, then he went out and did his little jig. The same one he'd been doing since he first started playing the game. It seemed to work most of the time, but he had bad luck at least a few times so he decided to go with it again now. No use changing it; not like he knew any other moves, anyway.
He boogied about for a while before hopping next to a bird and sending it flying, which made him grin. "Gotcha," he murmured to himself as he boogied off of the dance floor and toward the masked creature, who handed him the gold coin before hurrying off to attend to someone else who'd successfully gotten rid of another bird. |

Kane made his round back to the archery range soon enough, and he was rather bolstered with a good amount of confidence from his last few tries. All successful coin grabs, all very high scores. So when he took the bow and arrow and listened to the instructions again, he was all smiles and maybe even a little puffed up. To his shock and disappointment, he didn't score enough this time around. He didn't miss, either, but that was the only silver lining. The gnome collected the bow and went off back to his station, leaving the first year and first-time prom-goer fairly upset (and maybe even a little embarrassed). |
