Adagio would absorb the flames with ease, sparring everyone the explosive impact of the fireballs. Next came the sudden black mist that was Haze, shrouding both Odd and Sub while Amaranth and her Pokemon took to the sky. The sudden smokescreen and appearance of more adversaries would cause the Noivern to rear back, its rider annoyed by this inconvenience. For now Sub was safe to continue his Channeling feat.
The Talonflame would both veer in opposite directions, each making a u-turn in the sky and head back towards Black Tower. Each would set a course for one of Amaranth's Pokemon, their movements in sync as they appeared ready to ram into Butterfree and Fletchinder, respectively. Just a few feet from impact however they would pull up sharply, perform a quick loop in the sky, and come crashing down feet first with Acrobatics, their Gale Wings ability giving them blinding speed behind their Flying move.
As for the Noivern and the Flare admin rider they would choose to ignore the grounded enemies for now, that being Odd and Sub, and instead focus on the one that dared meet them in the sky. "Pretty little girl like you could get hurt up here. Why don't you go sit down." The male admin sneered before his Noivern began to flap its wings vigorously, whipping up a powerful gale via Hurricane, sending the fierce winds towards Amaranth and by proxy of positioning Odd and Sub as well. While such a move would normally consume friend and foe alike the two Talonflame appeared unbothered as they appeared to know exactly when to duct and dive out of the way. Whether or not Amaranth realized it Noivern's ability was Telepathy. Hopefully Odd acted to stop Sub, and himself, from blowing away. |

There wouldn't be enough time for Butterfree or Fletchinder to avoid the attack, as the smokescreen and blinding speeds worked against them and allow both Talonflame to deliver their pair of harsh attacks. Though both were able to keep fighting, Fletchinder wouldn't be able to match their speed and Butterfree was already seeing much better days.
"Zephyr, Forge, be careful!" Amaranth called out, relieved that both of them seemed to be alright for the moment. "See if you can counter with-"
She'd be cut off as the Hurricane began to pick up, bracing herself as the formation broke. Butterfree would be wracked hard by it, blown around until he was flung out, sent plummeting to the ground, and finally recalled. Fletchinder would be flung around too, trying to regain some kind of control as the attack had its way with him. Eventually, he'd manage to long enough to pierce through the Hurricane and attack the admin's Noivern with Aerial Ace.
"I have a good enough seat right here!" She yelled through the Hurricane's winds, sending out her Pelipper to take Zephyr's place. "If you're wanting anyone off the ground, you're going through us first! Gale, Air Slash!"
Trying to turn the Hurricane against the admin and his team, her Pidgeot started to whip up a gale of her own, the harsh winds threatening to cut through anything it could manage to. |

Or so Ryan thought. The Ferrothorn would simply bide its time, not finding much interest in the little ones it faced. Instead, it played dead, calmly picking itself back up and staring at the trainer walking away from it without double checking on the ‘kill’. The plant would walk forward to try to get a little bit of speed going before spinning itself into a Rollout to catch up to Ryan before once again attempting to hit him with a Power Whip.
Also, if he noticed the small in the air…. Was that a whiff of fried electronics? Hopefully that wasn’t anything important.
Considering Garbodor’s reputation for how its toxins worked, the sacrifice of the hoverboard was probably a blessing for Wren, and the Garbodor looked a fair bit upset that he didn’t get his prey. He did manage to slow down at least, so there was some consolation for the ‘mon. The appearance of the Dragalga also put a damper on the spirits of the trash heap as it took the Steel Tail to its gut, groaning as it grasped its belly.
“Gaaaaar… Bor!” He seemed to recover enough to start a waddling run towards Thistle, jumping to try and land on him with a Body Slam.
The Pursuit wouldn’t do much to the Magneton other than annoy it, the mass of metal and magnets changing its gaze to the little Zorua who would attempt to stand up to it. A thunderbolt would be sent out from its magnets aimed towards the little fox, unless it did something about it.
The Mandibuzz seemed to fare a bit worse than her electric companion, the Aurora Beam causing the vulture to stiffen up a bit from the cold. Not as devastating as it could have been, but still a bit more than annoying. Something she didn’t like the looks of and needed to get rid of as soon as possible. The Mandibuzz would take a different approach this time when her bones returned, tucking in her wings and diving at the Vulpix like the Brave Bird it was.
The Klinklang would not seem thrilled to take the Jump Kick, pulsing out a Magnetic Flux in order to mitigate at least some of the damage taken. The gears would move faster and faster though as it began to charge up energy, culminating in a Discharge of electricity from the ring around the heap of metal and gears.
Skuntank was not happy with the Bullet Punches it was getting either, jumping back to get away from the Scizor. “Taaaaank!” The skunk would take in a deep breath before belching out a stream of flame at the metal insect, possibly even trying to ignite some of the toxic sludge past it.
The Liepard would be thrown back from the Brick break, the purple and yellow leopard crying out as it landed. She didn’t look to be down and out just yet though, as she growled getting up. “Liiiiieee!” The cat would launch forward and cover her and Hera in a cloud of white smoke, Playing Rough with her new found prey.
Abby would find out what that wheel was pretty quickly as it rounded back and rolled towards her, unfurling at the last minute to show itself as a Scolipede with glowing green horns, rushing towards Abby with a Megahorn attack.
“Hmph. You were supposed to be easy pickings for my Swalot here,” the grunt scoffed, looking irritated. “I don’t belong here, though? You lot are the foreigners! Looks like he’s not going to be an easy target, Swalot, Sludge Bomb!”
The large purple blob with a mustache would comply by making a sound that counded vagueing like someone trying to throw up before hurling a large dark purple loogie at Leon and his Pokémon.
The Krookodile would attempt to catch the falling metal teen with his mouth, at least at first. Once the Onix was revealed, he started to back off before stomping the ground violently, causing an Earthquake in the immediate vicinity. This would probably with to Aria’s advantage, at least.
Carbuncle would definitely help its trainer out with the Power Gem attack, the Bisharp taking a couple of steps back to clear out the spots now in its eyes. By the time that he would get his vision back completely, the Earthquake would start to rumble their way, with the Bisharp immediately trying to get out of range before attempting to retaliate on the woman and her rock with a Metal Claw.
Tatooine would be dealing with the Scrafty in one of the best ways she knew how- aerial combat. She kept the fighter thrown about in the air, trying her best to keep him from landing. Scrafty was still managing to land a few punches and chops, but at the very least, he was preoccupied. “Hey, now you know how the birds felt all those years ago when you were in that Scrafty’s position,” she chuckled, looking down at her SNAG. A small, amused smile that had cropped up faded quickly when she saw the map. The deployment seemed to be going slower now, probably because of the ambush on the groups. Now she was mind of wishing they’d at least stayed in bigger groups. Not to mention…. Did one of them fade out? |

It was a little hard for the Lapras to go ahead with dodging a Thunderbolt. Considering it was a large waterborne Pokemon that only had flippers, this was easy to understand why. After taking the massive blast of electricity, the Water-Ice type turned towards where the Frolass was and quickly unleashed a Dragon Pulse towards the Pokemon. There was not exactly a lot of options for the thing to do right now, given its opponent.
Clawitzer would halt the Aura Sphere barrage it ahd been unleashing, watching as the other fired shots began to curve around to impact into Kaya as the Water type was forced to attempt dodging the Air Slash coming its way. A few quick hops by the shrimp and it would be mostly out of the impact site, although its sizable claw would still receive a few injuries just due to the inability to move it quickly. Wheeling itself around back into position to fire once again, the Clawitzer would shift back to pelting Kaya and his Dunsparce with Water Pulses. They did have a nice period of time to press the offensive while this aiming was taking place, so hopefully they would take advantage of their own setup.
Ulla would be left alone from her opponent due to the sheer fact that the Sharpedo was mildly obliterated from the absolute mass amount of damage that had been dealt to it by both Kaya and Ulla. So she was left relatively alone by the now retreating Aqua Grunt who returned his Pokemon while Ulla's two other Pokemon proceeded to rain abuse and pain onto the closest grunts ascending via their Muk transport. It didn't take long before the entire thing collapsed and sent the grunts that were using it just spilling across the cliff and its myriad of traps that were still in place. From atop her perch on her Wailord, Shelly looked towards the two Pokemont that were currently attempting to obliterate her cunning plan. "Well then, guess I do need to put some work in. Wailords. Water Spout our little friend there." She commanded, watching as a few of the Wailords on the beach gathered up water before firing it skyward to begin bombarding Ulla and her two Pokemon with streams of powerful water. Hope she was prepared for the retaliation that she had instigated.
Beau would be continuing his battle with the Tentabruel, his Zorua managing to harry the larger Pokemon through superior Agility and quick nips via Bite. Although it seemed like the Tentacruel was getting an advantage given the tentacle it had wrapped around Mystra was now currently using the small Zorua as a bludgeon. "Alright, Mystra. Use Crunch and get out of there. Or be ready to brace for a boom." Beau said, watching as the small Pokemon got to work trying to gnaw the tentacle to death.
With Reno, he was now finishing up collecting the netting he had set up and looked towards the frozen solid part of his left arm. "Well....everyone, get ready. Once I throw this net, hit it with every electric move you've got!" Reno shouted, Pokeball already opening to show his Raichu next to him. Rushing towards the cliff face, he would throw the net into the air towards the Aqua Grunts that were currently still climbing and their Wailord transports. Hopefully the others listened to his orders once they were settled with their fights and make sure this plan worked to its full extent.
And somewhere in the distance, the sound of a hybrid and his Pokemon catching a large Ice Ball could possibly be heard. |

Leslie and her Onix would be buffeted by the sudden Earthquake, stumbling backwards away from the Krookodile into each other a fair distance away. Looking at her Onix towards the Krookodile, Leslie realized that it might be too long of a distance for her to cover quick to easily attack the Dark type. So she did what anyone would naturally do. "Grunt, Iron Tail! I wanna fly!" Leslie commanded, bracing herself slightly before she was punted directly at the Krookodile as an iron cannonball. Hope the thing knew how to catch.
Meanwhile, Aria was having an easier time adapting to the sudden Earthquake due to her own Pokemon not really being affected by it, unlike her opponent. Taking advantage of the opening this offered, Aria shouted, "Moonblast!" Diving for cover away from the battle that was likely to continue erupting, Aria watched as Carbuncle stood their ground and blasted away at the oncoming Bisharp with a barrage of Moonblasts before taking the Metal Claw with a pained cry and redoubling of efforts to blast away at the Steel Pokemon with the Fairy blasts. |

Zorua did do something about it; it dodged, feeling the electric scuff its tail. Zwei realized that she wasn't the best type, and quickly recalled her, bringing out his Glaceon. Perhaps Weiss would fare better?
Weiss gracefully threw her head, shedding shards of ice, flinging them towards the Magneton in an Ice Shard attack.
It was funny to see that lazy little Vulpix move, hit with the dangerous flying type move and sent back into its trainer's arms. The Pachirisu hybrid also dropped with her, yelping. "Allura! Are you okay?"
"Pix...." Oh, the Mandibuzz ruffled her fur now!! Speaking of ruffled....did it drop a few degrees? Rhyme set her pokemon down as the chill increased, and Allura sent a Powder Snow attack her opponents way, with all intents to freeze the bird. Rhyme sparked as well, shooting off a Spark attack soon after.
She...had to protect her pokemon, just like they protected her. |

"Alright, try using Thunder this time, Yuki," I asked of my own Raichu, who nodded and chased after Reno, pouring all the electricity she had into that net. I could only hope that she didn't miss.
"Endure, Hera!" Keiko shouted, not wanting Hera to faint just yet. She wanted to believe that Hera could take the rough play, but wanted to make sure Hera lost as little energy as possible since she was sure this wouldn't be the only time she needed her help.
Once again, Abby had to get out of the way, leaping to the side to dodge the Megahorn. "Back, off!" Abby roared before Angela had enough and let herself out of her ball. This caught Abby's attention. "Oh, that's right. Use Flamethrower!" she ordered. The Torchic at her feet obeyed, spewing flames at the giant Bug-type in front of her.

Odd stood close to Sub as Amaranth took to the sky in an effort to fight back against their aerial aggressors. He felt the pain from the attack that had essentially ended her Butterfree and, for a moment, he wanted to weep for the fallen Pokemon before he caught a faint glimmer of energy coming from it. "Giratina's Wings..." He breathed a sigh of relief, glad that he had assumed the worst only to be proven wrong. Though that sorrow was rapidly replaced by anger. The Channeler's body sparked a few times as bright blue, ethereal flames consumed him for a moment. "You people are INFURIATING!" He screamed at the Noivern-mounted Flare admin before pointing to the pair of Talonflame, struggling even as he did to keep his footing and not be blown away while keeping Sub steady and safe as well. "Adagio, use the power boost you got from their flames and Hex them both!" He ordered as he reigned in the roaring blue flames and wove them into a volatile orb of Wicked Wick. Hurling the flames at the Noivern-mounted admin, he shot a shadowy ribbon-arm toward one of the Talonflame in an effort to corral the two birds together and make it easier for Adagio to Hex them both.

Wren dropped from the air as his hoverboard began to corrode before his very eyes. "Oh that's great..." He grumbled as he dropped the board, careful not to get any of Garbodor's toxic sludge on his skin in the process.
"Thistle, careful there!" He called to his partner when the chubby trash heap came "jogging" toward them. It took a bit of effort to not giggle at the sight of the trashy chubster waddling toward them at a "fast" pace but he figured that if there was any chance of him winning this fight, he wanted to spare the poor Pokemon it's self image at least. Thistle nodded to Wren's call and, with relative ease due to the lack of speed the heavy Poison-type was moving at, he coiled himself around and took up much less space. At the same time, he channeled Dragon energy together until he had formed a solid mass of the stuff and fired it from his nozzle-like spout at the Garbodor's gut in the form of a Draco Meteor. His hope was that the powerful attack would at least push the assailant back and give them some breathing room if it didn't knock it out entirely.

Kaya was pummeled by the returning Aura Spheres but, thankfully, had the resolve to fight through the pain of them and it looked like Darien had managed to get them the space they needed to get something going for them. "Darien! Wild Charge!" He ordered the Land Snake Pokemon.
"Dunsparce!" Darien exclaimed as his body began to glow from within and after a moment, just as his furiously flapping wings got him moving, he began to exude an aura of wildly arcing lightning while racing across the space between himself and Clawitzer.
While Darien attempted to dispatch their aquatic assailant, Kaya dropped a Moon Ball on the ground at his side and pointed toward Reno and his net. "Pluto, when he throws, use Thunder Wave and add to the electricity in that net." He instructed, having heard Reno's direction to assist while trying to not die. He was still trying not to show it but he was definitely feeling the pain from those attacks earlier.
