[Forge RP] What's this about mushrooms? (PRP for Sindi)

[Lunadriel]

After stumbling about in the brambles, Sindi finds a mushroom. "COME TO ME MY FUNGI FRIEND!" Yes. She is now talking to the mushrooms....

MC: 8 +1  

[Lunadriel]

Sindi tries to talk to the mushrooms some more, and trips in her silliness. She lands on a mushroom, that happens to be one of those trippy slimy ones, that makes you take a cat-nap.

While sleeping, she dreams that there are elephants sneaking around, planting brambles, and eating all the mushrooms in the forest.

MC: 9 -3  

[Lunadriel]

Mushroom extraordinaire! She would tell people how easy this quest was, and leave out the part about the brambles, and all the naps. She already had a plan for her story to tell. She laughed at the thought, as she finds a lone mushroom and plucks it to place in her bag.

MC: 6 +1  

[Lunadriel]

"There's another one!!" she calls out as she finds another fungi on the forest floor.

MC: 7 +1  

[Lunadriel]

Sindi is feeling pretty good about herself, after finding two mushrooms. That victory is short lived, as she finds herself in some you guessed it...brambles!! She sighs, and tries to get out of them in the shortest path possible. Doesn't matter. Still loses some mushrooms!!!

MC: 8 -2  

[Lunadriel]

After the brambles, Sindi spots an obviously bad mushroom. She grins and takes a nibble anyways. Might as well have a some fun. When life hands you slimy mushrooms, you enjoy the ride. This might come back to haunt her later. She's in a stupor from looking for mushrooms, not getting any sleep, and not having any food. This caused her to make a not-so-wise decision to eat another mushroom....

MC: 6 -3  

[Lunadriel]

The mushroom doesn't make her dream. This time she wakes up and is violently sick. NO MORE EATING THE MUSHROOMS!!! Regrets are had. After she hurls onto a tree stump, she finds some mushrooms as she's leaning over. She plucks the dry ones and puts them into her sack.

MC: 3 +5  

[Lunadriel]

After collecting her mushrooms, she spots a couple of squirrels again. She squints at them suspiciously. "No more mushrooms for you!" but she spoke too soon. They had recruited a third squirrel thief!! Without even noticing, it plucks a mushroom from her bag and runs away.

MC: 8 -1  

[Lunadriel]

Then, yet another squirrel jumps on her, as the other takes his fair share too.

"WHAT THE.........what is with you guys?! Shouldn't you be hibernating or something!! Get your own blasted mushrooms!!" she says after the hit and run.

MC: 9 -1  

[Lunadriel]

A bigger squirrel comes along, starts yelling at the other squirrels in the distance. Sindi watches as it brings her back 3 of the mushrooms they have stolen. It looks very apologetic.

"Uhh...thanks...I think." good thing too, or she was going to have a serious hate for squirrels after this!!

MC: 8 +3  

[Lunadriel]

Sindi returns to singing her off key song about mushrooms, but very tiredly. How long had she been looking for these blasted mushrooms now? While singing, she finds herself in some brambles again, and gets fussy.

"OH THIS IS NEW! IS THAT ALL YOU GOT!" she yells out as she climbs through the brambles, and feeds the hungry thorny vines some more mushrooms...

MC: 11 -3  

[Lunadriel]

A few mice skitter out from under the brambles, and bring her some of the mushrooms she dropped.

"Omg, you guys are the best....wait...what about all my other mushrooms?! Why couldn't you do this in the first place?!" she said looking at the confused mice, who had no idea what she was talking about. She turns her nose in the air, and leaves them.

MC: 8 +3  

[Lunadriel]

"Oooooooo, a rotting stump!! Yes!!" she exclaims as she uncovers some mushrooms.

MC: 11 +5  

[Lunadriel]

The buffalo returns again, with his critter friends. He drops a couple of mushrooms in her bag.

MC: 16 +3  

[Lunadriel]

The buffalo drops even more mushrooms in the bag and gives Sindi a wry smile.

"YAY!! I did it!! She exclaims as she skips off with her bag.

Returning to the forge master, she notices he already had mushroom soup by the empty bowls. Apparently, everyone finished the quest long ago, and he's now sleeping.

"Sigh..." she says out-loud. She falls asleep next to his tent, with her mushrooms. Guess the forge master would have soup again, for breakfast!
