The mention of supplies brought mummers through the crowd, a potential excitement hung heavy in the air that all but erased Kotori from the minds of the citizens. THIS was what they wanted and yet... many still held a reservation in accepting anything from the people who they had already so strongly been feed to believe were the evil ones.
Without skipping a beat, Grady went to work in mucking his hands all about the ninja's best efforts to soothe the crowd. In the first blatantly obvious move against them, the priest spoke with a hint of anger in his voice. "Now now now. What a lovely sight this is! Here you both come before me, offering your food and supplies, you want to become our saviors. Yet, I cannot help but wonder.. why it has taken this long to be heard? This is not the first time we have petitioned for a change to be made in New Verales. Now you come to us because we have what? Saught to gather amongst ourselves? To help one another?" Before any response could be made, Grady rose his hand. "Do not give me your answer to me. Turn and address the faces of the people who have gathered here, explain to them how your promises won't just be ignored like all the others."
More mummers spread from tight lips like wildfire, and one by one the hungry eyes of the town's now entire populace looked onward at both Mina and Kotori. Each of them, dirty, tired, some of the younger ones not even wearing clothes at all, sat waiting in anticipation.

tabOh. That’s how it was, huh…? Mina did her best to keep her facial expression pleasant. But deep down her mind was working, putting together what she was sure her other squad mates gathered. The girl had given the man the benefit of the doubt, but it looked as if Grady was the one starting the trouble in the first place. It made her mad to no end that he would use such chaos and strife to forward… whatever his end goal was. That Grady would use the pain and suffering of the people around him for his own gain. But… he had a point, as much as Mina hated to admit it. Why did it take Lahil so long to respond to the cries of these people? The ninja turned to the massive crowd that gathered around them for the first time. The redhead had no visible connections to Konoha on her: no gear, no headband. Just a civilian in a distraught town, like the rest of them. She felt for these people. They deserve some sort of explanation, some sort of reason for their suffering. But it wasn’t something Mina was able to do.
So the ninja gave Grady a quick glance from the corner of her eye before she addressed the crowd. “Listen, everyone.” She started, making sure to speak up above the murmurs of the crowd. “I’m… sorry.” Regret was evident on her face, but Mina didn’t let it stop her from talking. “I can’t begin to tell you why it took so long for Konoha to send help. It’s inexcusable that it went on for this long.”
Mina turned her eyes to Seika, then to Kotori where her gaze lingered a little. Like she was asking for help. But the sight of her friend was all she really needed. “But the five of us here came rushing as soon as we heard. We came to help you as soon as possible. My Ma once told me that a riot is the language of a people that have been treated unfairly for far too long. And I can see that New Verales has been treated with neglect. So I stand up here, not as Enforcer of Konoha like Grady says I am, but as a member of the Land of Fire; one of you..” In a flash Mina bent at the waist, bowing low to the people of New Verales. “Please forgive us and let us help you!!!!” She yelled. Her fists were clenched and she was… trembling. Mina wasn’t close to crying, but she did feel sadness. Sadness for her countrymen. Sadness that the person she looked up to, Lahil, had let things get so out of hand. But she was going to make it right, she had to. Or she was a failure, to herself and everyone around her.
There was a pregnant silence after Mina’s speech while she waited for a reaction. After what felt like a millennia, she got one. From behind her Mina could hear a soft, slow clap. “Well well, that was quite the rousing speech~ So inspiring~” Mina froze. She knew that voice. But where? But how? Suddenly the girl’s pulse started to quicken but she herself started to feel clammy as cold sweat formed on her body. She didn’t want to look, she didn’t want to know. But Mina couldn’t stop her body from rising and turning to the source of the voice. “You must’ve gotten that from your father.” The voice continued as a woman entered Mina’s field of vision, merely standing right where Father Grady had been only moments ago. “Right, my little Minashiba?” She giggled with a slight tilt of her head and a smile. Mina couldn’t move despite everything in her mind screaming at her to run. All she could do was stand and stare at this woman as nothing but horror bubbled up inside of her. “It’s too bad that all you managed to do was come up with excuses. You couldn’t help, so push the blame on to someone else.” The one eyed woman spoke with disappointment in her tone that was so heavy that it made Mina flinch instinctively.
“Who…” Mina gulped. Her throat was suddenly so dry “Who are you?” She managed to choke out. As she spoke, Mina’s body reflexively took a more defensive posture, one that made her look smaller.
A wide, maliciously sweet smile spread on the woman’s face. “Oh, the day that a child doesn’t recognize her own mother is a sad one indeed, my little-”
“Shut up!” Mina screamed, her voice breaking a little. “That’s not true my parents-”
“Are dead?” The woman asked, raising the eyebrow over her patched eye. “Tell me, is that what that old Zakaki’s been poisoning you with?” The woman clicked her tongue disapprovingly. “Does that woman have nothing better to do than lie to children? Honestly.” She took a single step forward, forcing Mina to take a step back. “I assure you I’m very much alive, my girl.” The woman’s whole pleasant demeanor shifted to one of rage. “And I’m here to take my daughter back home! So say goodbye to your friends, dear.”
Mina was going to continue to argue. After all, why would Zakaki lie to her about her family? There’s no way this nutjob was actually Mina’s mom. But as the woman’s locks of pink hair shifted when she walked, something clicked inside the girl’s brain. Not so much clicked as it did explode open, memory after memory rushing forward like a raging river that was impossible to stop. Like a film reel, image after image flashed in Mina’s consciousness. Memories of abuse, neglect… torture. Too fast to discern exactly, but enough for it to be clear. The final image was of Mina’s father, a bloodstained corpse, laying on her in an alleyway in Konoha. It was enough to make Mina sick, but she did remember who this woman was.
Akiyama Aimi. Her mother. Her real mother.
In an instant Mina’s body flashed in front of Kotori, moving at speeds too quick to see, to shield her friend from the monster before her. As she appeared, Mina’s body was covered in Cursed Markings: something like the symbol for fire that was attached at the tails, spreading from her neck and all up and down her left side, and glowing with a crimson light until it stopped spreading. Something on Mina’s face must have given away that she remembered, because Aimi stopped walking and started to smile again. “Oh, there’s a good girl. Now, please… come back to Mama.” She cooed.
“Shut up!” Mina screeched, chakra forming around her body, the same color as the Forbidden Seal had been. “I’m not going to go with you!!!” The girl clasped her hands together, her fingers rushing through a series of signs. Her crimson chakra coalesced into lightning in her palm, the energy vibrating at such a high frequency that it sounded less like lightning and more like a giant flock of chirping birds. “Because I’m sending you to hell where you belong!”
In a flash, Mina lunged forward as fast as she could, thrusting her Lightning Blade jutsu at the source of all of her trauma! In a blinding flash the girl’s lightning covered limb stabbed through her mother’s chest, the crackling lightning appearing from her back. Mina stood there, her breathing coming in harsh and ragged, her arm unmoving from her mom’s body as droplets of cold sweat fell onto her arm. But all that remained on Aimi’s face was… that damned smile. “Funny how you say no,” she said, looking down at her daughter. “As if you were the one in control.” As she spoke, her body started to disintegrate into dust, particles blowing away on the wind. “I’ll be back for you. You’ll come home soon, my Minashiba~”
By the time the last particle of her body flew away, the Genjutsu placed on Mina was dispelled, revealing to her that what had been Aimi this whole was none other than Father Grady. Mina was frozen in place, her blood splattered face illuminated by the crimson red lightning of her Chidori. The girl had gone from such a high level of emotion and then all of a sudden she felt… nothing. It was like her brain had shut off, and all that was left was the body. While Mina was a living statue, the Konoha headband she had tucked away at the start of the mission had fallen from her pocket, hitting the stage with a clatter.
Awoken Stage In it's Awoken Stage, the Boon of the Bakeneko starts to spread in a pattern that resembles the Kanji for Fire that's connected at the tails. It'll start at a spot on her neck, and spread down her left arm and up over her face, and glow with an eerie, crimson light.

__ They were trying, and perhaps they were making just the slightest headway in expressing their good will to the downtrodden people of New Veralas. However, there were walls of doubt and lingering malcontent for wrongs of the past they they clearly felt mere apologies and promises couldn't solve. Kotori's clone tried her hardest to understand the problems in between the lines, but she just didn't understand why even with Mina's thoughtful phrasing and genuinely supportive attitude still also weren't reaching the public. She had agreed eagerly about her own ability to help and the people started to seem a little receptive. Then... Grady threw them a curve ball. His feigned kindness had quite literally deceived Kotori right up until he expressed himself as an opponent. It wasn't Kotori's usual sort of opponent, though. She looked back over her shoulder at the preacher as he kneaded more doubt and discourse among the people with every line spoken. Apparently the others were actually pretty suspicious of the man even before he said all of that, and now Kotori's clone understood why despite still lacking the fuuin-induced telepathic bonds. She was speechless. One last time, Minashiba tried her hardest to show the people that they meant only to help, not harm. Kotori's clone smiled rather proudly at her best friend as she watched from nearby on the platform they shared with Grady. Seika was right there too, so it just felt like they were gonna win and go home to proudly tell tales of how they helped so many people in need.
That was entirely incorrect. While Kotori's clone looked back out at the faces in the crowd, hurriedly skimming past anyone that had noticeable facial hair, Minashiba became silent. She didn't notice at first, until Mina started muttering things that honestly just didn't go with any of the previous context. "Who is who?" Kotori's clone asked as she looked back over her shoulder now to Mina. The spotlight that she'd so rightfully earned in the moment was now offering some strange behavior to spectate for those still probably skeptically watching. The others may or may not have been cheering as they were hopefully sold by Mina's little speech. Kotori indeed fell silent when yelled at to shut up. Was that for her? 'Did Kotori say something about Mina-chan's parents?' She looked around and added to her thoughts, still hers alone unlike her true self, 'Did any of them say something about parents?' Honestly, Kotori was just getting confused. It was hard to understand what Minashiba was trying to do now, so she wasn't sure what cues to look for to help her. She was unresponsive to the questions she posed, like she were talking to a ghost or something. However, she was facing Grady the whole time. The man was likely just as confused. This confusion and the standing trust Kotori had in her best friend lowered her guard. Suddenly, Mina raised her voice with such venomous hostility. Again, she demanded silence but this time she could assume it was for Grady. Even Kotori knew that yelling at that man was probably going to make other people mad again. "M-Mina?" She started to ask if her friend was okay but a strange power seemed to be consuming her- transforming her. Loudly chirping lightning exploded around one of Minashiba's hands and Kotori went as wide-eyed as anyone else in the crowd. What was she doing? Kotori had a guess and she started to lunge forward to stop her from making a terrible mistake, but she wasn't quite fast enough to keep up with Mina's new form. Grady was likely impaled before he could even react either, and the gruesome scene of a public execution entirely overshadowed their promises for peace and prosperity in New Veralas. Kotori's clone attempted to embrace Minashiba from behind, the gesture doubling to attempt to restrain her highly tensed upper body by pinning Mina's arms under hers. The electrified, bloodied hand of her friend was damning even as Grady's body would fall away from it, lifelessly landing with a heavy thud on the platform. She cried out with worry only managing to blanket her disbelief, "Mina! What is wrong?!" Kotori's gut feeling was that something had to have been wrong with Minashiba; however, her knowledge of genjutsu was excessively acute, so she was without any ideas of how this all came to pass. Mina's headband clattered and bounced across the wooden planks, stopping face-up beside where Grady had fallen. Now, they were all probably gonna be in trouble. Kotori did not want to fight these people. Not even the ones that might have supported the mean Mister Grady. In this moment, not even the bearded Liam guy would deter her from protect Minashiba at any cost. Nobody was telling the actual Kotori what to do and she was mostly unaware of the developments, so she only occasionally looked up from her mission scroll and went back to it in the meantime.

Roku continued to lean against his tree, continuing to smoke as the mission seemed to be on the right track thus far. Even from where he stood he could hear the excitement in the air from the promise of additional resources. It seemed Grady had turned their intentions back on them however by asking the group for an explanation how how their promises won't be ignored this time around. With a quick look around, it was obvious how resource starved this village actually was to Roku. It was no wonder they turned towards a leader like Grady. However, at the end of Grady's little ploy at deception, Mina took up the reigns with a speech of her own. As Mina was giving her speech, Roku's cigarette dropped from his mouth. Dumbfounded. Not by Mina's speech but, by something else entirely. All for a few brief moments, Roku felt chakra bubbling up to the surface of the Earth. It was no little amount, it was the most chakra he had ever felt in his life. More chakra than the 5 of the genin had combined together. Perhaps even almost double what the genin had together. 'There's chakra coming to the surface. More chakra that I've ever experienced. Inohachi come back to your body, something else is going on here and, I don't think it's good.' Roku would report to the group. Unfortunately, due to his focus on the chakra below, Roku did not initially notice the genjutsu that Mina had been placed under.
What Roku did notice was the sudden activation of nature chakra from Mina. 'What is she doing? Mina stop!' Roku commanded the girl. However, as the command seemed to go unheeded as Roku felt that Mina was preparing a technique. It seemed Roku would have to take matters into his own hands as Kotori has been caught off guard by Mina's sudden change in direction. As Mina formed handseals, as would Roku. At the completion of Roku's handseals, the rose on Mina's hand would jump from it's place, directly in front of her before growing into a rose of about the size of a wall. The technique would serve as a defense for Grady before Mina could reach and kill him. Upon impact, Mina's technique would end and the rose would unfortunately find it's end as well in a beautiful explosion of rose petals. Each rose petal slowly floating through the air, until the rose petals would suddenly begin to disappear and the rose would once again find it's place on Mina's hand. The man really didn't want to use his techniques against his own teammates however, Roku was unwilling to fail a mission. Especially a mission of this magnitude. It would echo through his record, it would bring shame to Konoha, and the one thing that was beat into him as a child was never to be a failure. Now, his only hope was that Seika or Kotori could spin what had just happened into their favor or at least mitigate the damage that Mina likely had caused. For the moment, Roku decided it best to stay outside the village. That ensured he would be able to help his teammates get out of the village in the case that the Villagers decided to attack the group.

Regardless of its design, the tattoo creation has the same activation ability of the Shadow Clone Technique. The animated tattoo can use basic combat attacks logical to its physical design as well as sealing based techniques the user has access to as well as the user's elemental attacks. This technique remains active for two posts per rank of the technique. The living tattoo returns to the place it had been animated from after it is no longer in use unless it is destroyed or if its source has left the locale; if the source leaves the same topic then the tattoo automatically fades from existence, destroyed by techniques of their own rank and below if undefended. She is wearing standard medical ninja garb with long sleeves hiding her hands, she has a secondary robe over top of it of similar design and color, it’s sleeves also oversized, the combination of both making it hard to notice the weapons weighing on her sleeves. Wearing a backpack gloves and a Katana Ninjato on her waist. (Basically equipment listed in profile.)

Grady didn’t have any intentions of letting them get through this did he, the way he went about things he shoved a weight and a near impossible question upon them, despite the fact he knew all to well the had just arrived here and already had a negative bias aimed their way. This man was basically benign backhanded in his offer and Seika was concerned this was going to put a damper on their current efforts progress but she was pleasantly If not delightedly surprised by Minas quick starting response after only a brief pause before doing so. It appeared clear that in light of her little episode was coping very well, maybe Seikas suspicions on Genjutsu were wrong along with her concern about if Mina should not have doubled back to the others, she had a handle on this she believed, although when she would later look back on these events she would realize perhaps she should have taken a per cautionary measure or two and had been mistaken in her prior assumption.
In the present Seika would return Minas look with a slight nod and an expression that showed reassurance that she was doing great and to affirm she had support. Seika then half turned so she could look at Grady out the corner of her eye and study his reactions, keeping an eye on his body language, posture, expression for any small tick to give away his real feelings as this smiling and ohh so willing shepherd was still under her suspicion and now Mina seemed ok she could try and get a read on him. It was around then Roku would give his report and this would cause the girl some major concern What do you mean coming to the surface, how large? from where? Does it seem like an attack?[/i] Her mental tone wouldn’t betray her worry because she was splitting her attention in so many directions, although it would could off as curt and a little demanding. The questions may also sound unneeded considering the fact he probably would have mentioned these details if he knew but she believed that any detail, no matter how minor had the potential to be useful and hence she really hoped he short handed any information to make them all aware of the issue to be on guard.
Just as she was waiting on a response whilst trying to analyze Grady for signs of foul play or noticeable and again even minor reactions. It was then that her ears picked up on something that sounded odd and it was coming from Mina and a strong wave of anxiety washed over the young medic and broke her focus, her attention rounding on mina who was now starting at father Grady and had told the man to shut up. Seika had missed Minas first line to the illusion as she had been focused on the message and responding via mental link but the directness of hearing someone tell another to directly shut up in such a scenario was extreme hard to miss, especially with the emotion and energy in her voice. Speaking of emotions, Minas were clearly heightening and Seika realized that she hadn’t done something she definitely should have when she’d first suspected gen-Jutsu but had been to naive to and she realized and cursed herself on the spot as she was about to move but then Mina did first.
Having thrust herself in front of Kotori at such immense speeds Seika had been taken aback as Mina was gone just as she was going to act and this caught her off guard, not as much though as when her eyes managed to find Minas new position she found herselfMina, Stop! Whatever it is it not real! She thought at the other girl, a feeling of intimidation washing over her as she could clearly see the crimson lines and fire like marking they originated. That was a cursed mark which the young medic had never seen before and only knew a little about, her knowledge spanning about as far as knowing they could temporarily heighten a persons physical and other abilities well beyond natural levels. As if to deter Seika attempting to approach the girl even more was that Mina was screeching at the yet was now the red like coloring of the marking was now spreading about Mina in the form of a chakra manifestation which accompanied by handsigns meant she was going to attack Grady as all of her focus was clearly on the man, at least that’s what anyone watching would believe.
Seika would manage to act at that point for a couple reasons, the missions sake at this juncture would probably be one of the lowest of these reasons, then despite Grady being shady, she couldn’t just watch someone die like that and thirdly was her prerogative and instinct to save the lives of other above all as a person from a long line of doctors and despite some disagreements between them, she was still one of the Haruno family! Repositioning her feet swiftly a burst of chakra from her feet launched her forward as she used a martial technique to move herself fast with the Akira styles first step. The speed this technique launched her at was far to fast for anyone but other shinobi to see, and unlike the proper use of the technique she did not throw her arms out and use her fan to create any shockwaves, instead as she was place herself directly in between Mina and Grady as she used a hand to push him off of his feet and onto his posterior at about the same instant Mina lunged, which would probably hurt his butt a little. Seikas eyes closing as she braced to get struck by the brutal and loud electric technique that was an instant away, terror gripping every millimetre of her body, waiting for the moment technique to strike her in the back.
What she did know was that she was about half a second too slow with every action she took, Mina was far to fast to actually intercept at this point but by appearances to those watching and to her own perception she had made it in time, meaning the rose tattoo of Rokus making flaked of of Mina and intercepted the technique and as Seika was approaching a half second or so before she pushed Grady onto his butt. So she would have no idea that she was going to come out of this moment unscathed, her body tensed up further and started shaking as the extremely loud and harsh noise of the Chidori and the roses collision right behind her took place but the awaited impact never came. Her eyes opened at the sound of clattering, her body vibrating and her blood pumping hard, sweat rolling down her face as she suddenly looked much more tired than a few seconds prior, turning to face mine and swallowing hard as sense of disbelief and minor relief would was over her. Seeing Mina standing there she immediately stretched out her fan hand, releasing it to hang from her wrist so as to touch Minas opposite shoulder from the chidori and doing a handsign with her other hand “Kai!” She would say and right after that motion would release Mina and flip her fan back into her head and point it at Mina unfolded ”M..M..Mina s.st..stand down! P..Please go to the others! K..Kotori.. P..please escort her, I’ll t..try talking to them.” She tried to order the other girl, however the sensation of being a step away from death along with Minas intimidating crimson marking, had her voice shaking and not carry much wait, sounding almost more like a plea than an order or request, Seika knowing all to well if Mina were to do any other aggressive actions she wouldn’t be much able to stop her if at all.
Extending her other hand toward Grady in offer to help him up but not looking his way as her eyes weren’t coming off of Mina until she had stood down, ”Grady, p..please stand up, a..are you hurt?” She asked, feeling a bit bad she asked him about his well-being over asking Mina, however they were on the job and unfortunately Seika had to to do so for the groups face as a whole. The way here attempted interception would look to most might save a few bits of faith that they lost but was unlikely, it definitely wouldn’t help the group as a whole but maybe Seikas ability to communicate with them and she had to try and utilize whatever she could use, although discovering that the strength in her legs was almost gone and she might fall to her knees trying to turn to address to townspeople would make communicating that much harder. She would assist the priest to his feet if allow and if at any point Liam came to his bosses side to assist him she would not interfere as long as it was to help Grady and not add anymore unneeded aggression to further interfere with this diplomatic mission. Roku, Inohachi, I’ll try to salvage this but Mina was attack by an illusion, be careful, something not right, make Kotori hurry!

Flying. She certainly can get used to this. Different angles! Why has Inohachi never thought of this before? So many potentials can be had to take pictures. The sudden burst of the massive powerful chakra rattled her to the core. And she wasn't the only one that sensed it. Roku did too. 'I sensed it too Roku...' Worried about her teammates, she started to fly back towards them. Panic. Sheer terror. With a surprised squawk, she turned around and zoomed through the sky. What was going on!? Panic. Panic.

With that, the bird crashed into Grady, at the same time, Inohachi used one of her bloodline techniques that she didn't want to use. If successful, it took Inohachi a moment to see everything from a different view. Grady's eyes glanced down towards the dazed and confused bird. With a smile and trembling arms, she cut off telepathy from her friends. Panic was not what she needed. If she was going to do this, she needs confidence. "M-M-My people!" Inohachi stuttered as she can hear Grady's voice instead of her own. "Sta-Stay calm!" Focus Inohachi. Look confidence. Fake it till you make it. Maybe they can take stuttering as him being surprised? Gods, she hopes so. "Surely, they have reasons for this..." He stopped, Inohachi needed to word this right, "Sudden outburst! Perhaps this poor child of war had seen too much! Maybe the stress and fear of the horrors that she and we, ourselves, have seen. It seems, that we are not the only one that has been suffering. Perhaps we take an olive branch from them after all. First, let's give them time to recover and keep their promises. If they do not keep their promises, then we can continue on!" He announced. Meanwhile inside, Inohachi is sobbing and apologizing to Grady over and over, 'I"m so sorry I didn't want to invade you, Mina was something called a genjutsu it's not her fault, I swear! We just want to help, please forgive me, Grady! I just want to help people and you! I'll do anything! Tell me what to do! I want to help keep peace and make things better and give you better food and clothes! I'll do anything Mr. Grady!'

Mind Body Switch Technique [ Shintenshin no Jutsu ] l Rank C The Mind Body Switch Technique is the signature ability of the Yamanaka clan. Originally, this ninjutsu was suited for intelligence-gathering missions rather than battle. With it, a ninja sends his mind into a target's body supplanting the target's mind with their own. The user transfers their consciousness to the target, giving them complete control of the body for a short period of time. While in control of the body, the user is able to communicate with the target. It may also be used to switch into a teammate's body so that neither are left defenseless. However, when used in this way only those of Yamanaka blood retain access to their own abilities. Not-Blooded switchee's may only use jutsu, stats, etc that the host body has. The mind transfer itself will only move in a straight line but travels at shuushin speeds, missing the target requires that one full post be spent returning back to the body. Because of these reasons, it should only be used on immobilized targets. Lastly, should any physical injury befall the victim's body while the mind-link is active, it would cause the user's body to also receive those same injuries. This can be rectified if user cancels the technique before the victim's body receives the damage. To break free of the mind transfer the user will first spend the chakra on this jutsu and then any amount of chakra that they desire. The trapee must then pay the cost of this jutsu plus the extra amount in a tug of war style of fight. After paying the cost the user is given an opportunity to pay more chakra in order to continue the effect on their next post, with each side repeating until one wins. If overwhelming is granted than the user may apply it only to the rank cost of this jutsu and not the second amount. Lasts for [ 10 ] posts.

To say that the crowd was shocked would have been an understatement. The man that they had idolized, who had reached out to them when it seemed like no one else in the world had cared about them, was attacked right in front of their eyes. The ninja lacking even the decency to commit their atrocities in the cover of night! Somewhere in the crowd a woman gasped and fainted backward into the man behind her, signaling the others like the fall of dominoes. The crowd erupted into furious rage from all sides. The voices of the reasonable being nothing but a drop of water in a vast sea.
From behind his own eyes, Grady stirred as an unknowing prisoner in his own mind. By the time the sensory information of the situation had stirred him back into reality, he had only a dry cackle to offer in return to Inohachi. They won't listen to me now. Maybe if you had the time to speak to each person individually, but as a crowd? Never. En masse people are too dumb. I've spent years earning their love, and the mere fact that you tried to attack me is enough to incite them. Grady's thoughts were hollow, that much could be easily felt. Even with his role as the perceived antagonist, it felt very much as though the man did not want to go to war like this. With the hints of sorrow checkering his emotions. That damned woman. Is this what she wanted all along? Retreating inward now, Grady left the girl to whatever it was she hoped to gain from the control of his body. He was going to use this time to plan.
Meanwhile, back in the outside world, things were only escalating. The crowd screamed for the deaths of the shinobi. Only the fear of being outmatched had saved them for this long, and even that was fading. A few jostles here and there from some of the more bold individuals were purposefully trying to goad Kotori into striking back. Furious that she would dare protect such a miserable human being. To make matters worse, the chakra sensed earlier by Roku and Inohachi returned. Or rather, a portion of the chakra that already existed began to flow towards Mina with the activation of her curse mark. Small bits of chakra that were already close were bound to slip through the cracks, but the majority of it? That much could still be stopped with some form of kai perhaps? Along of course, with the ability to sense chakra. Despite being minuscule, the effect of this chakra was immediate. Igniting an overflow of the very thing that had drawn it to her: the curse mark. Mina would find her pools not only full, but they were far and beyond what any normal person would have been able to handle. Tearing at her form to reveal her twisted inner demons given form.
The crowd looked on in horror before a few oils managed to break the paralysis and call out. “SHE’S A MONSTER!” Chaos was erupting at the seams. Direct action would need to be taken in order to prevent the crowd from turning into a panicked stampede now, or worse, spread misinformation of konoha’s involvement in the small shantytown.

tabCrimson lightning exploded against the massive image of the rose, illuminating the square with a wave of light for a beautiful instant. Mina stared wide eyed as she slowly came to her senses while red petals rained on her from above. As the tattoo shattered and reformed on her hand, the red head was able to see Seika on the other side to her surprise. When did she get there…? She wondered, her voice echoing through her mind like it was detached from her consciousness. It felt like Mina was watching everything transpire like in a dream, as nothing but an audience to the events of her life. What’s going on? Why can’t I move? Those questions came in slowly as she slowly looked around. Her hair, which had fallen loose in her attack, fell around her face as she looked around. She could feel the body weight of someone trying to hold her in place. Small hands clutching at her arms and waist… familiar hands that were both strong and gentle. Kotori… From the amount Mina was able to turn her head, she could see her best friend. The confusion on her face, the fear of not knowing what was wrong.
Mina could feel her emotions in turmoil and she could hear her thoughts racing. But it was like standing in the eye of the hurricane, where it was suddenly quiet and peaceful. The presence of her best friend gave rise to a feeling of warmth and sunlight. Mina lifted her left hand from her side and wordlessly pressed it against Kotori’s hand that gripped her abdomen. She curled her fingers around the tiny hand of Hyuuga, intertwining her own fingers with hers and gripping tightly. It gave her a place to start grounding herself. The touch of her friend. The sound of the Chidori as it faded away. The sound of Kotori’s, and her own, heartbeats as they held onto each other. Slowly Mina was able to calm down and come back to the world of the living, regulate her breathing. Slowly the glowing cursed markings on her face and body started to recede back into the spot on her neck.
And just like that, as quickly as it came, the eye of the storm had passed. And the rest of the hurricane was to follow in full force. Mina’s grip tightened on Kotori’s hand as suddenly she felt a massive surge of chakra pour into her. Her Curse Mark, which had almost become dormant, shined brightly as it began to siphon this mass of energy, and spread over MIna’s entire body in the blink of an eye!
“Get back!” She yelled as the girl flung Kotori’s arm away from her! Mina ripped herself away from her friend and pushed past Seika effortlessly. She stumbled off of the podium as the markings on her body began to shine more brightly and merge together into one large mass covering her body in crimson light. This power, whatever it was, was too much! Far too much chakra to be suddenly thrust upon her. Crimson fire began to shoot from her body at random points, like Mina’s body was only a vessel that was struggling to contain a continuous explosion. It was all Mina could do to get away from the podium, only barely registering the screams of the civilians around her. Mina buckled over at the waist as she grit her teeth together. Whatever this energy was, it was bad and she needed to keep it in. Under control, so it wouldn’t hurt anyone. She already lost control once, and she wouldn’t let it happen again!
“How admirable.” A voice made Mina’s head shoot up and look around with frenzied eyes. There, alone in the crowd, she could see her mother again. Aimi was smirking at her in a way that only spoke to belittle and pity her daughter. “But you won’t. You’ll fail. Again. And again. It’s what you do, after all, little Minashiba.”
The influx of power was ever expanding. And now seeing the visions of her tormentor made the rate it grew inside Mina increase a hundredfold now that her focus waned. "You just aren’t strong enough.”
“I am!” Mina snarled, her voice twisted into a primal growl by anger and pain.
“They don’t seem to think so.” Aimi nodded her head over to the podium. Mina whipped her head around wildly to look at Grady. At Seika. At Kotori. “They didn’t think you were strong enough to kill me, so they stopped you. Why else wouldn’t they let you take your oh so deserved revenge?” Mina didn’t know what to say, nor could she as she struggled to contain the chakra that was still flowing into her. Aimi continued, as if voicing Mina’s darkest thoughts. “No matter how hard you work, you’ll always be weaker. Weaker than them. And they will always look down on you for it.” Mina’s focus zoned in entirely on Kotori while her mother spoke. Even though the Hyuuga was short, her position on the podium put her above Minashiba. “So then why not use this power?” Aimi continued, her lips twisted into a malicious smile. “Let it out, and show them once and for all just how strong you can be. Prove them wrong. Prove me wrong. Prove EVERYONE wrong!”
Mina couldn’t handle it anymore. She shot up and let out a roar, a beastly roar that echoed through New Verales, filled with anger and with pain. With sadness.. As she did chakra unleashed from her body, washing the area with a sea of crimson fire! While it stopped just short of the podium, the heat would be able to be felt as if everyone there was in the center of it all. The flames shot up high into the sky and lit up the sky with her Seinaru Flame. The buildings closest to her would immediately ignite, setting the side of the town she was on ablaze.
In a flash the fire erupting from Mina faded, and when the light slowly dimmed down, she would be standing there. Her body, however, would be black. Charred by the flame with cracks along her skin that glowed with the color of Seinari Flame. Her fingers dripped blood from the fingernails and claws formed on her fingers. Her hair, which was one straight and red, was now a spike mass that was ignited by a continuously burning flame. Two horns, shaped like cat ear, cropped up on her head. And, last of all, her eyes were different. Heterochromatic: the left a dark red, and the right a light blue, and glowing as they glared at the group on the podium.
Specifically Kotori.
This new Mina was silent for the few seconds she seemed to stare at the Hyuuga. Then in the blink of an eye she was now in front of her on the podium, so close that she would be able to smell the burning flesh. A fist curled at her fist started to crackle with flame and lightning. “Tag, you’re it.” Mina would growl, slamming her fist into Kotori’s stomach with all the speed she could muster.
Unleashed Stage In order to transform into this state, Mina will slam her fists together and generate a field of fire and electricity. Mina's skin will change to a shade of red slightly lighter than her chakra color, while her body starts to leak out fire the color of her chakra. Two horns, in the form of cat ears, form on her head, her canines become sharper, and her nails (now an icy blue) grow sharp like claws. Her hair becomes a spiky silver mane that goes down her back. The whites of her eyes change to black while her irises become slitted and heterocrhomatc: one deep red and the other light blue. A thin appendage erupts from her lower half, splitting off into two cat-like tails that are ignited with the same color fire that's flowing from her.
Effects: • Increases Speed and Strength to [12] and Endurance and Agility to [10] automatically. • Overwhelming Basic Ninjutsu (All Elements and Maruton) • Mortal Matatabi: Mina's Katon and fire based Ninjuts can be cast with somatic gestures. Additionally any enemies that look at Mina's Katon or fire based techniques while she's in the Stage suffer from Tiered Insanity and Mental Stress equal to her Body Rank (T1: E-D, T2: C-B, T3: A-S, T4: S+) that lingers for three posts after the opponent(s) look away from her. This effect is refreshed whenever the opponent(s) look at Mina again. Things were spinning wildly out of control. The actions of the shinobi had spun the crowd into a wild stampede as each citizen began to tear their way through the crowd to escape the madness that had be thrust upon them by one of his own teammates. Roku breathed for a moment as it seemed Mina had cooled down some. However, the moment was brief as suddenly the chakra below the earth thrust itself upon her. It seemed that Roku had to do things that he wished would have never been his responsibility. Perhaps it was these citizens fate to die. Perhaps New Verales was meant to be burnt to the ground today with everyone in it. Regardless of what fate had intended for the genin today, Roku knew it was time for him to stop being so passive. They had to reclaim this mission as best possible, but what was a uphill battle became climbing up a cliff that was crumbling.
Roku closed his eyes and began making hand seals. As he did so he felt the chakra where Kotori's clone was dissipate as it was struck by Mina's blow. It was lucky that it was just a clone it seemed. The teen was ready to take the mantle as Mina's flames spread across the podium. 'Seika and Inohachi. Stay out of the way, help the citizens escape as best you can.' Roku would think to the other genin who were likely not prepared for this battle at all. The teen wouldn't stop his handseals. Once he completed them, Mina would find a decent portion of her corrupted chakra was taken away from her. Then at the completion of another string of handseals, more chakra would be taken from her. Roku felt this was likely a time that warranted using his cursed seal, however he figured it was likely best not to due to the mysterious circumstances surrounding the chakra in the ground. At the end of his techniques, his eyes would open once again filled with the crimson and black eyes of the Uchiha. "Kotori I'm going to need you to distract her as best as possible as I take away the chakra that was forced into Mina." Now sure that the Kotori next to him was the real Kotori.

She is wearing standard medical ninja garb with long sleeves hiding her hands, she has a secondary robe over top of it of similar design and color, it’s sleeves also oversized, the combination of both making it hard to notice the weapons weighing on her sleeves. Wearing a backpack gloves and a Katana Ninjato on her waist. (Basically equipment listed in profile.)

Things had only seemed like they would be ok with Mina for a few seconds, the reputation of the small group was pennies compared to a life, even in the case of Grady. Seika felt like years had been shaved off of her life as she was still to wound up to actually feel any sense of relief, as it allow worsened just when it seemed it wouldn’t. Nightmare, that’s what this was, no way her first mission out of the village had been something like this, a mysterious underground chakra? Gen-Jutsu attacks, shady rabble rousers and manipulators... the last was the only one expected, no one besides the shinobi themselves or any specific “violent instigators” were expected to face any real potential harm. She was convinced of this fact, however when Mina told them to get back, the cold creeping horror that she’d intensified the nightmare playing out set into full motion, the lull of calm rupturing part with fire and electricity.
The energies that burst from Mina spread from her as she rushed from the podium into the panicked crowd no less, the girl clearly struggling with something and panicked in her own right. Mina suddenly started searching around with wild eyes, clearly overwhelmed and falling into a frenzy of sorts, or still under the illusion.... which Seika didn’t understand as she was Convinced her Kai has successfully removed Mina front he illusion, was this another one or was this the girl herself? The extreme emotions radiating over the link were not easily translatable and those, combined with the unknown and being caused to believe she was about to die had Seika struggling desperately to keep herself under control emotionally but she was also now beginning to have difficulty coping with what was going on. The people were panicked and beginning to rush through one another with little spatial awareness, putting many at risk of harm, combine with Mina angrily searching something out and her emotions skyrocketing more and more as she did so. Then her eyes locked in on the podium, Seika flinching from the intensity but immediately opening her arms wide and shifted her body to be in between Mina and Grady if the girl went his direction again ”Mina! Calm down, move away from the civilians, come he- Kyaaaaaaa!!!” She was cut off by Minas howl and release of heat and flames, the words Seika spoke converting into a scream of surprise and panic.
Seika was sweating as the flame/heatwave dispersed as a result of it and tension combine, her eyes catching the terrifying visage of Minas beyond unleashed cursed seal, Seika having never even seen a level one cursed seal had little idea of what she was looking at although she knew that it had to be Mina. Then her eyes, nose and ears picked up on something bad, something yelling in pain, more than one person actually, the smell of burnt person and wood were another thing, she could also see a person not five steps from Mina rolling on the floor, his clothes on fire, a woman screaming as she was in a similar straights. The emotions this brought up would be sent as a lump of pitched horror and fear, combine with a welling resentment, guilt and anger, her free hand clenching hard enough from her nails to draw blood from her palm as her world slowed and everything in her vision blurred greatly just as Mina vanished, reappearing directly beside Seika in a blast of force and speed to strike Kolnetori to non-existence. As Mina arrived the younger girls glasses were sent flying from her face without her even noticing as she turned in what felt like slow motion to visually acknowledge what had just happened, her vision clearing up to a near perfect level.... that is besides a cyan hue.
It was then everything would return to normal speed as she would hear Rokus orders across the mind link straight into her mind, taking her out of the instant and pushing her into action Right! Was all she responded with, to stressed and panicked to say anything more or express a problem with his plan as currently she was the only one of them with Mina, even a few seconds without Mina focused on someone other than Grady or the citizens could be very bad and thus she performed the needed handsigns with her empty hands to create six shadow clone than four of immediately moved off to start directing the citizens, the two that remained performing techniques, pressing their hands into Seikas back before rushing off to help guide the citizens on a safer route, if simply blocking the way they wanted to go and herding them away from the immediate danger, that would be what the majority of the clones would do, the two that performed techniques on their maker would seek out the injured and bring them out of town toward Seikas clone that was with the ones out of town, although we’re meeting with limited success despite the fact they were medics as currently the shinobi were hated and Mina had terrified Them so trust was thin, although a couple of the people who were doused were just thankful not to be a light anymore. Phrases like “Please go that way, be careful of one another, if your hurt tell me, please I just was to help!” And more could be heard from the various clones, speaking loudly or yelling as they attempted to safely lead people away.
As her first clones travelled to help others and whilst the other two were just finishing the techniques she had them use on her, Seika was weaving handsigns behind her back and just as she finished she rose her hand holding the fan, releasing it to dangle as she aimed to place her hand on Minas shoulder and hit her with an illusion, one that would hopefully help the situation. Now Roku had told her to stay out of the way basically and to just focus on the civs, but again only Seika was with Mina for god knows how many seconds and Seika felt that this was something she needed to resolve. ”Mina come to you senses and calm down right now!” she would instruct, her voice devoid of the shaking, gentleness/sternness/plead she held before as she was currently teetering on the brink of snapping herself as her flight or fight roared at her some every angle(specifically Minas) like an oppressive wave and Seika despite her fear was leaning toward the later and much more dangerous option. The emotion Seika intended to inflict would be comparable to the feeling a child would have after getting lost at the store at a young age, having to wait with some stranger after walking around crying for ten minutes and finally being found, waiting with some stranger who clearly wants your parents to come collect you fast then finally after all the waiting, ones mother/ father would arrive, that release feeling of relief and safety that ones parents would present in said scenario would be a comparable emotional range she attempted to push Mina into, hoping this would deter further violent impulses.
If Mina did turn to face Seika, she be greeted with a stressed and angry glare from the Medic who was standing with a wide stance to make sure she was in between Mina and Grady, a pair of bright Cyan Sharringan where the medics normal brown eyes would normally be, the singular Toma circling in a counter clockwise direction. If Mina was properly lucid she would be instantly aware of how upset/angry Seika clearly was As tears were streaking down her cross face and the fear she held was clearly visible behind all of this. The instant Seikas hand would either let go of Mina or be unsuccessful in touching the older shinobi, it would still catch the dangling fan and hold onto it ready to defend if she had to, although she didn’t know if she could, she was confident she could at least last enough for the civilians to be out of harms way.

P.A. Cyan Sharingan | along with the mystery as to how she even comes to posses the Sharingan despite her family having no ties to the uchiha, another question exists as to why hers are cyan as opposed to red. The uchihas vision adopts a mild red hue when their sharingan are active, she like her eyes experiences a light teal filter with her vision instead. Along with the minor visual difference the chakra given off when her eyes are active also give off an ever so slightly different feeling or signal than that of a standard uchiha to sensors.

Massage [ Shiatsu ] | Rank E Allows the user to use their chakra to relax the muscles or themselves or another. This promotes the target healed to restore chakra and stamina as though they were out of battle while in battle. This also doubles the restorative properties the target has outside of battle. This technique counts as a boon of adrenaline.

[In continuation with the story..]
Crowds of people ran for their lives, the explosion of Mina's power igniting some and driving others insane was more than enough of a reason to follow their fear as far away from the destruction as they could get. Allowing, for the briefest of moments, the barriers that normally separated the social classes to be broken down. Panicked souls sought desperately to look for guidance would find it easily in Seika's waiting arms, who was able to alienate any more needless loss of life. Within moments, those could flee did so, leaving the square mostly empty save for a select few, consisting of Grady's entourage and a handful of others from the crowd. It wouldn't take long, however, to notice that their minds had no longer belonged to themselves.
Forms twisted so far that they would have been more at home on a demon than a person stared back at them hungrily. At least a few had already attacked innocents only to leave their mangled bodies on the ground for more livelier game. None dared make their move just yet though; for their minds had been devolved to that of beasts, and all beasts followed an alpha.
THUD, THUD, THUD. The slam of weighty footsteps beat like war drums on the soft dirt. Liam, his skin a mottled coloration of red and dark brown, came stomping into the foreground as a direct challenge to Mina. The powers that be having taken the man in the same way that they had taken Mina, and now the deviled horned beast was drawn to the only thing that he could have felt challenged by. With feet squared off in a sumo-esque stance, the howl that followed the demon Liam's lips shattered the few bits of glass that weren't already broken in the area.
Meanwhile, in the minds of the mental duo, a voice sprung to life through Roku's thoughts. "Helloooo~ I hope you don't mind if I hop in, but it sure looked like you could use the help!" Following her introduction, a new chakra signature could be found standing atop a partially crumbled rooftop. Her bright red locks making her easy spot even with eyesight alone. "I can deal with all the smalls while we let the two biggs battle it out, sound good?" Regardless of his answer, the mystery ninja didn't bother herself with such trivialities such as "waiting for permission" saving people's hides was good enough after all.
True to her word, the red-haired ninja began her work in eliminating the demon zombies with little to no apparent effort. Her weapon of choice, a swift electrical discharge from her hand, placed just enough stress on their juicy brains to relieve the target of their consciousness for the time being. Precious assistance that might prove to be quite useful as fate dealt it's hand to Inohachi.
While still residing within Grady, a terrible and sudden pain would rack her thoughts. Like an iron grip slowly closing its hand around her chest to choke the life from her. Grady was dead before he even hit the floor. The sudden force of a heart attack at just the right moment both removed a piece from the board, while simultaneously inflicting the trauma of death on the young Yamanaka.

tabMina’s anger filled eyes widened in surprise as the Kotori before her disappeared into smoke with seemingly the lightest touch. A clone..? The cursed girl landed in the spot the clone had been as a new level of anger and hurt washed over her. So for all of her talk, the real Kotori hadn’t even been there to support Mina when she’d needed it. The thought made her clench her fists and grit her teeth. There was a pain in her chest as Mina came to that realization. That maybe she wasn’t as important to Kotori as the Hyuuga was to her… She let out another howl as the girl felt energy ripped from her while her own heart began to shatter. The hurt only quickly turned to more anger as Mina was vaguely aware of Seika’s movements. If an invitation was what it took to get the Hyuuga to fight her, then Mina would send the girl one.
The redhead’s body would flicker just a little as, like a mirage, as Seika tried to touch her. Mina had moved only slightly so that she now stood on the inside of the medic’s arm, but had moved with such speed that it simply looked like Seika had missed. Before the pink haired girl could recover, Mina took a step towards her. The girl swung a closed fist into the medic’s jawline. Her hand, super heated with ignition chakra, would erupt into an explosive cone of fire and force upon impact that would blast Seika thirty feet away.
As Seika would recover, Mina would send a small effort of will through her body. Small clouds of smoke appeared along her as her weapons and gourds unsealed themselves back on to her hips and waist. With a quick movement, Mina’s popped open the gourds on her sides, black iron sand spilling out freely. “Back off.” Mina said as she met Seika’s cyan glare with her own inhuman stare. “You’re not the one I want to fight.” The cold callousness of her voice was unlike Mina, or at the very least unlike the personality she fronted. It was calculating, matter of fact, and quickly dismissive. Mina scanned the area, looking for the best partner she could square up with to attract Kotori’s attention, unflinching at the chaos that she herself had caused.
Finding who she was looking for wasn’t hard as he stomped his way up to challenge her. Liam, the bearded terror, had undergone much the same type of transformation has Mina had. Monstrous in his form and even more powerful. In her twisted mental state, combined with her tunnel visioned goal, Mina couldn’t help but smile a little as her own instincts fueled the fire inside of her. The man let out a roar that resonated with Mina’s own beastly instincts, that she matched with equal intensity. Mina bounced on the balls of her feet as she readied to fight before launching herself at Liam. Closing the distance in the blink of an eye, the redhead would unleash a flurry of pressure point strikes into the man’s tendons. Flowing from her limbs like ghostly images, Mina’s arms would seemingly multiply, as each thrust unleashed an explosive wave of Ignition chakra.

Roku's concentration on the battlefield was broke for a moment as the mystery ninja managed to somehow break into his telepathy with the others in the group. If they were there to help than Roku really had no reason to keep them out of the telepathy. However, the new revelation of Liam really put Roku into an awkward situation as he had just sapped a large amount of chakra from Mina. Oh well, not much could be done about it now. Inohachi had gone silent which was perturbing to Roku as it now meant that they were down two shinobi. Seeing as Grady was just killed, there may be a chance that Inohachi herself was dead too. If this were the case, then it was her destiny to die at this moment. Granted Roku did not know how that mind control worked and perhaps she was just working her way back to her body. Hopefully that is.
Although Roku was not of a higher rank than Seika, he was glad that she listened somewhat. Until she decided to approach the beast that was now Mina. This seemed to be a terrible mistake as Mina went to punch the poor medic. Roku immediately made a handseal which in turn caused Seika's tattoo to spring to life much like the rose from earlier. The face rose up from Seika's arm into a fully formed man. The numbers followed suit onto a shield that the man held up to block the attack whilst pushing Seika away with his body in a gentle manner. 'Seika be careful.' Roku spoke to her in their telepathy. 'Mina if you can still hear me. Liam is your target. He's the cause of all of this. You have to stop him now.' Roku would continue. Granted it was a blatant lie as Roku truly did not know who was behind all of this, but he hoped it would be a good enough distraction to get Seika out of there. Where ever Seika would go, the tattoo would follow behind her as a protector. Considering all he really had to do now was protect Seika and help Mina where he could. However, seeing as Seika was a medic and was running low on chakra, he figured he could help her further by transferring some of his chakra to her.

She heard about the woman, 'Who? What woman? Who are you talking about?' She got up before grabbed his hands and holding them tight. 'Look at me. Look at me please. Who. Who is this woman?' she needed answers. Broken off from her friends since she doesn't have the mark, she was alone, in this dark mind of Mr. Grady. He managed to break out of the paraylisis as Inohaci flinched, it caused her discomfort and a massive headache. The message from Roku to get away would be lost. For she had no direct contact with them anymore now being inside Mr. Grady's body. She was, however watching the events unfold. Did they not know she used this jutsu? Hearing Roku shout towards Kotori to help distract her, Inohachi figured that Mr. Grady would be the main target, she had to think something, fast! Luckily, Seika had started to get the crowd out so she can whisper really quick, "Mina-" Inohachi screamed in pain inside Grady's mind, her eyelids closed and the pain was enough to brought her to her knees as she screamed so much that the no sound could be heard.
Back in her body and her screaming, she clutched her chest as she sobbed, unable to console or even think, all she could feel was the cold embrace of death. Rolled over and sobbing, she tried to fight against the trauma but it was not working. Her breathing was increasing and she was starting to panic between the gasping sobs and shivering so violently, you could hear her bones rattle. fighting against the pain, she still had the tattoo on her, 'Grady mentioned a woman. A woman is -sob- cause of this' She managed to get out to her friends.

She is wearing standard medical ninja garb with long sleeves hiding her hands, she has a secondary robe over top of it of similar design and color, it’s sleeves also oversized, the combination of both making it hard to notice the weapons weighing on her sleeves. Wearing a backpack gloves and a Katana Ninjato on her waist. (Basically equipment listed in profile.)

”Hiiiii!!” She squeaked as she was saved from a rather forceful attack, the flames of the explosion parting around her due to the guardian summoned forth from Roku in the nick of time. Another close call caught by Rokus intriguing tattoo Jutsu, Seika was thankful for his assistance, the flames of the blast subsiding as she stood a couple of feet from where she had started, on the edge of the podium which was lucky to have stayed intact and not been demolished by the blast. Both Roku told her to be careful and Mina warned the shaken girl and she chose the sensible option, taking the advice that the other two had given to her, albeit with totally different intent and structure behind said words ”Ok, Understood! I just thought I could snap her out of it... I’ll be more careful.” She said out loud as opposed to through the like, although the two would be basically synonymous, her tone filled with a tenseness to it but showed she accepted it as the best option, although her emotions of feeling responsible for this and regret of inaction and feeling of powerlessness.
Minas approach had been fast and the mental pressure that Minas appearance appeared to cause the young medical ninja had made Seika unable to react, even with the currently unrealized activation of her sharingan she couldn’t react in time, even if she perceived some of it in the last instant. Seika wouldn’t be able to keep up with nor begin to be able stop Mina based on the figurative and literal explosive power the girl currently had, if Liam in his demon like state was anything like her then Seika would need to avoid him as well, her clones were collecting or treating the injured with immediate first aid and the issue of other villagers who had also been taken over by this strange dark chakra had been demolished efficiently by an unknown redhead. The red haired girl had dropped them all before landing up beside Grady and the rest on the podium just as Seika was deciding what to do, before she straight up killed him right then and there with a jolt to the skull, with unbeknownst to Seika, poor Inohachi soul within the man as he was slain. Now that Seika wasn’t in immediate danger she could actually acknowledge the fact he was dead by sight alone, those eyes that the light of life had left starting that bleak and moth stare of the passed, Seikas heart taking a hit as this was her first direct contact with killing.
Her gaze then moved to look at the slew of villager the woman had also knocked out and although she had the sharingan active she wasn’t looking at the chakra network, that combine with the mental stress made her unable to discern the slight movements to indicate they were only unconscious. A ball that had formed in her chest comprised of fear, anxiety and stress began to crack at this point, it’s cohesion nearing the point of falling apart, a searing hot rage building up as Seika rose her hand holding the fan rather gently but swiftly in an arc as she turned her body to face the new arrival. The fan opened up during this action, neatly sending a cutting wave of force right past the girls head, an intentional miss but extremely close, Seika yelling ”What are you doing!! why are you going so far?! There was absolutely no need to go so f....” She was abruptly distracted by realizing Mina was going after Liam and considering the last explosion that Roku had saved her from, staying here was bad. She dropped to a knee and grabbed Gradys body and moved off of the stage just as the fist blast started, the podium would likely not be able to withstand that and Seika was being reflectively safe so as to avoid any fallout or shrapnel created from the fireworks.
She would at this point place him against a non burning building and taking a moment to check his vitals despite her knowledge that he was dead as the air vibrated with the sound of Minas Jutsu again Liam. Seika would pause for a second as she contemplated a trying to bring him back, however there were lives she could save and she didn’t want to throw away chakra Roku gave her on wasted effort. The searing anger stuck in the back of her head as she yelled to the new redhead ”We are here to save lives, Lethal force only when necessary, don’t kill anyone else!” Then took a deep breath and made her way onto one of the burning buildings, using her empty hand to focus her chakra before expelling a gigantic quantity of water, smothering the flame in water, turning as she went to spreading the water out and douse the majority of burning, water flooding out any entrances a few inches deep. In her mind she communicated with her comrades angrily, confused and distressed “This woman’s just killed Grady and a score of people, we don’t even know what’s wrong with them, Minas lost it and I don’t know how to make her stop, Guys, what do it do?!” She asked, tears secretly running down her face as she did so, using dousing the building as an excuse to distance herself from the assumed scores of dead and Grady, even though his dead eyes were still clearly in her vision, turning her head to look at and keep tabs on Mina and the new red haired girl after she’d wiped her eyes of their tears.
[The clones] During their casters actions the clones killed about in an attempt to hastily guide the villagers to safety’s bad care for the injured, splitting into two groups at this point, two making sure to stay visible and being the villagers to just outside the village, far enough away to be protected from smoke inhalation should Mina ignite the who town. ”This way please! No pushing and try to be calm! Parent please carry your children if able, those who are able please help the less mobile or elderly! Announce if you are injured and we will get to you soon!” There was assurance in their voice that their creator currently lacked as they repeated details like this and mentioned a few others. The rest were dedicating themselves to moving the injured, one unable to lend much assistance and it was caring for the poor man who had been point blank from Minas transformation, he was not well off and the clone was cleansing his wounds and bandaging them with cooling wraps as she went, the made shivering from the shock, the clone making him stay sitting up to make sure he didn’t pass out, currently seated about a blocks distance from where they started, the man not fit for moving and would only be so if absolutely necessary.
Two of the other clones were doing similar jobs but to less extreme cases, walking and working at the same time, prioritizing these sorts of injuries as opposed to any bumps and bruises. The final clone was busy checking for stragglers, having swiftly carried one person who’d been trampled and had their leg broken to where the other would take the people first then rushing back to check for more, finding the priest dead just as its creator doused the flames, moving on towards to the people littering the area as a result of the redhead, staying low to avoid Minas sights. It slid sixty up to one of the people and immediately tried the diagnosis technique, discovering right away that the person was out cold, the reason not instantly presenting itself. Moving over to another person it would begin to repeat the same technique and would come to the same conclusion as the prior person shortly after.
[Clone with Roku and Inohachi] The clone that had been carrying Seikas equipment was busy setting it out in preparation of the arrivals, pulling out its creators medical kits and placing them in a pile, bottled water and a few blankets to put on the ground for the injured to be put on if need be. It was about to leave and help the lesser powered clones in dealing with the townsfolk but Inohachi who was stark still due to her soul transference suddenly animated in a less than pleasent manner, something clearly having happened. The girl screamed into life in such a way the clone was totally caught of guard, turning to see the girl clutching at her chest and in tears, terribly upset, Seika had no experience with Ionhachis clan and thus didn’t understand what had happened. The clone moved over to Inohachi and attempted to calm her down and find out what was wrong, although the gentle Inohachi was not in a state where this was having an effect, trying to hold her steady proved an impossible task as Inohachi vibrated from the core whilst gasping out some words, the clone looking to Roku ”What could she mean by that?” It asked with uncertainty, turning back to the traumatized girl and trying to get her attention, grabbing her shoulders gently to try and turn her to look at her own soft eyes and speaking clearly and directly whilst attempting to create eye contact. ”Inohachi, please try and focus, breathe slowly and try to calm down! I need you to tel me, what do you mean? Grady did this because of a woman?! Or is the woman to blame? Please Inohachi, tell me what you mean! What’s happening to you?” she would added the last question as Inohachi hadn’t heard it the first time, but if she managed to tell Seika(clone) what she meant, then she might manage to answer that as well, although Inohachi might not manage to clarify or even say much else in her current state.
