Inolyn had not stayed up at the Star Stones for very long, the seasons were starting to change and the wind was blowing colder these days. She had chased down some egg hunters but they would no doubt be coming up all day. As long as nobody tried to push anyone down the stairs it should be fine, the stones were sturdy enough to endure the elements and wouldn't be damaged without significant force.

Coming back down in to the weyrbowl, it dawned on her to check other places that rascals might get themselves into trouble. While it was safe to be around, the Firestone store was not something that should be played with. Her right arm was proof of that, hidden by the long shirt sleeve.

pv[Amila and green Seistreth

Seistreth creeled warmly to the otther green and her entourage, warmth in her 'voice' before she looked to Amila. The green's rider, for once, was admiring the little firelizards, and Seistreth was not one to deny her a smile, turning back and indicating number 35.

Would it be possible to adopt this little one? I believe MyAmila is admiring the companions youhave, and I do hope she'd like them. Seistreth responded. Sure, it gave her mommy duty, but her vlutch was Impressed and gone. This baby was forever!

Alex and Gren Rumteath

Alexandra and Rumreath were not deterred, moving on to the Hatching Grounds in the hunt for a Firelizard egg. Rumteath huffed, scowling. This place was for BANIES, so clearly, perfect place.

Siv and bronze Cervath

Nothing yet. Siv tapped her chin, before moving on for the Star Stones carefully, her bronze following cautiously as best he could. Luckily, it wasn't hard, and he began to hum to pass time. Siv smiled, and joined in. Why not?

Robin

Robin was quiet and respectful, but, coming up empty, she left just as quietly without making a fuss, seeing herself off to the Breeding pens politely. Maybe here?

Kindra - Although plenty of firelizards were picking over scraps at the Feeding Pens, none were following Ostarath.

magnadearel

A'no and Brown Hivapath - There was plenty of food to grab in the Dining Hall, but no Ostarath.

M'tha and Green Glafateth - The Star Stones gave a good view of the Weyr, but not of Ostarath.

Candidate Verria - The Firestone Store was mostly empty, which made it easy to realise Ostarath wasn't there.

V'lla and Brown Ardnamuth - The Feeding Pens were a good place for a dragon to find a meal, but at the moment not a good place to find Ostarath.

Earisa

Inolyn - Sat quietly in the Firestone Store, basket between her foreclaws, was Ostarath. The green physically perked up when someone came in. It was boring in here, she wasn't likely to stay long. You found me, she said quietly. There's lots of eggs left, you can have whichever one you like. The green shuffled slightly and looked down at her basket. There were still lots of eggs left, so she had lots more hiding to do.

NovaCracker

Alex and Gren Rumteath - Footprints and a sleeping white were the only things to be found in the Hatching Grounds. No sign of Ostarath.

Siv and bronze Cervath - Wind blew across the Star Stones, if anything accentuating the lack of Ostarath and her following.

Robin - A herdbeast or two stopped eating to look up at Robin. They'd not been disturbed in a while, and certainly not by Ostarath.

Inolyn sighed, how could she be mad at the little green? She didn't need another firelizard, but just couldn't say no to the sweet little green. If it would hatch a bronze or brown then Vess might be happy. Reaching into the basket she picked out #3. ''You know you shouldn't be playing in here, but no one needs to know. Go run along, there looks like you still have a lot more people to visit.''

Ostarath hummed happily as the woman selected an egg. Nodding she picked up her basket and skipped out of the Firestone Store, off to find another place to hide.

K'lir
He had really, really, really tried to ignore what Ostarath was up to. Where had she even got the time to put all of this together? Hiding in the Weyrling Barracks hadn't worked. Plenty of people had come to grill him about where Ostarath was hiding. Obviously he had tried that one. Just asking the green where she was, but all he had gotten back was giggles. The green even made a point to close her eyes so that he couldn't try to see what she was seeing. The level at which the green was able to hide her location was as impressive as it was infuriating.

There was a whole Weyr, and she was still relatively small by dragon standards. There were plenty of places for Ostarath to hide. K'lir had heard that some people had managed to catch her in the Hatching Grounds. Maybe if he was lucky then she'd still be there. Trying to avoid the gaze of people who knew who he was, K'lir walked swiftly to the sands.

Mecesa
Once the children had caught wind of the green and her eggs they were intent on finding her. The majority of the creche children were too young to actually bond to a firelizard, but a game of hide and seek was always welcome to keep them entertained. It was also good for them to be getting out of the creche. Outside games were good, but something novel was even better. If they got enough exercise looking for the green then bedtime would be so much easier.

The group Mecesa was following as they looked excitedly decided that the Star Stones were where they should go. They bolted up the stairs and Mecesa followed close behind. The Star Stones weren't somewhere she went especially often. It was just a reminder that thread was coming, even if you couldn't see the Red Star yet. It was soon. Within her lifetime, within the children she cared for's lifetimes.

S'lvar and Recareth
Recareth had been watching people dart around for some time now. He had even seen the darting green hide of Ostarath a few times. He wasn't overly bothered about the whole finding an egg idea. Firelizards were pleasant enough, but Recareth wasn't the type to go running or flying all over the Weyr to hunt down a young green for the chance to get one. He instead was trying to sun himself in what little sun there was. The weather was turning colder and he wasn't looking forward to what S'lvar had described winter to be like at all.

S'lvar had been studying when the call had gone out. Now that they were taking on firestone training the young man had become obsessed with studying it until he felt completely confident. With everything else going on S'lvar said they didn't need any accidents, and Recareth was one to agree. Even then the blue was able to get his rider to take adequate breaks for his own wellbeing.

Perhaps it is time for a walk. The Lake would be pleasant. You could even see if you can spot Ostarath while you walk. The dragon said pleasantly as he stood and stretched slowly. At the same time a weyrling was sitting back at his desk and stretching too. A walk did sound good. Just to get some fresh air and refocus. Heading outside he joined his dragon, the pair walking casually to the lake.

Telleara and Antolith
We should find my clutchsister, Antolith said as he climbed out of his wallow. Quartz quickly alighted on the bronze's should chirping happily. She was happy to be carried anywhere by Antolith. Telleara looked at Clay and even the brown seemed eager about the idea.

"Very well. The three of you will be responsible for them. I have studies to focus on." Another firelizard couldn't hurt she supposed. Three seemed like it could be a bit much, but Quartz and Clay were both well behaved. They could keep the newest addition in line if they did end up finding Ostarath. Antolith rumbled happily as his rider agreed and came to stand beside him. "Where would you like to start?" she asked, resting a hand against his shoulder.

The Star Stones, he said definitively. Even if Ostarath is not there, we will have a vantage point and might be able to spot her. The bronze was confident in his plan and Telleara saw no reason to disagree. With that in mind the four began their walk up to the Star Stones.

K'lir - Ostarath's attempts to remain hidden had been successful. As there was no sign of the green in the Hatching Grounds

Mecesa/ Tellara, Antolith, Quartz and Clay - Not child, adult, rider, dragon, or even firelizard would be able to spot any sign of Ostarath from the vantage point of the Star Stones.

S'lvar and Recareth - The Lake was indeed pleasant. Possibly even more so for the fact there wasn't a rambunctious young green causing a commotion there.

pb[Alex and green Rumteath

There was no sign, and Alex pondered, before walking for the infirmary. Rumteath hesitated, paws shuffling before sulking gloomily when her rider didn't notice her childish response, the green keening like she might as a hatchling before Alex turned to her.,

It can't hurt to check the Infirmary, Rumteath, but they might appreciate you chjecking in anyhow. Thje redhead explained. Ruumteath creeled again, sulking for her rider slowly, wings and tail sagging like a scolded child.

But I don't like it there, it's smelly and they keep poking and I never get anything fun!.

Alex rolled hjer eyes, leading her poiuting green into the infirmary to look carefully -- and also to get Rumteath a check up. It couldn't hurt, and maybe she could slip off to another area while Rumteath was examind for signs of disease. Regardless, thje green was going to broadcast her unhappiness for some time.

Siv and Bronze Cervath

Siv led her dragon along to the firestone store. While greens were forbidden the stone now to save the North, Cervath was not, and it was good to both check and see where to stock up for drills and, one day, threadfall. Cervath looked around as they entered, blinking curiously as his rider hummed, the pair both taking in the sight carefully. If nothing else, this was a good wayto learn!

[v]Robin

Robin walked from the breeding pens along a pathto find the star stones, still being quiet and respoectful as she looked in curiousity. Surely it was somewhere the green might come, right6? Then again, dragons did not come to Robin yet. She didn't find Hers, which was fine -- nor had her sister. It let her care for the younger girl, and Robin hummed, smiling.

Alex and green Rumteath - The healers weren't happy to have another green causing a nuisance in the Infirmary. They'd gotten rid of the last few and Ostarath hadn't yet tried to return.

Siv and Bronze Cervath - Ostarath hadn't been planning to return to the Firestone Stores so soon, but one of her entourage had fallen behind and the others were all insisting that they go back for him. Returning swiftly the little blue scrambled onto her back and joined the others hitching a rider. Ostarath was almost out when Siv and Cervath blocked her path. Placing her basket down the green booped her nose against her brother's. You found me! Which egg would you like?

Robin - The Star Stones were certainly busy, but Ostarath hadn't joined the fray yet.

pb[Siv and bronze Cervath

Cervath was surprised by Ostarath's appearance, but afforded the draconic equivalent to a smile, bowing his head politely. Siv smiled at not just the green, but thje firelizards, waving before considering.

"Hmmm. This one certainly seems good." Siv indicated 15, as Cervasth continued to beam.

Did you need any assistance, Ostarath? We would be delighted to offer any assistance youdesired! the bronze answered himself. He didn't mind Siv adopting -- firelizards could be most helpful - and the bronze waited patiently.

Alex and Green Rumteath the Petulant

Alex smiled winningly tothe healers, offering her green to them merrily.

"Might as well give her a checkup!" Alex encouraged, ignoring the low snort of disappointment she gfot before darting from the Very Disgruntled Green, moving off to the breeding pens herself with a chuckle. It got Rumteath her checkup, and Alex a moment to look alone, ignoring the sulking dragon's continued broadcasts of horror at the switcheroo.

Robin

Robin smiled, stepping away from the star stones to walk to the dining hall -- she might perhasps find someone willing to share a meat roll or similar, and she was eager to both at, and search.

Cyrille

After Cyrolinos left with Terrask, Cyrille was clingy to her sister. While not annoyed Robin threw her hand into the egg hunt, Cyriller was getting tired of waiting, stepping out into the wilds of Fort to begin walking, looking about for Robin as she searched for her sister, beginning with the Hatching Sanfds. Painful they weren't picvked or not, there'd be space for a dragon there, and, possibly, a sister-dear.

Dogwood Green - Untidy, Efficient, Graceful

No thank you, Cervath, Ostarath replied brightly. I have lots of helpers already. The green looked at the firelizards that were following her around. They were doing very well at keeping the eggs the correct temperature and making sure that Ostarath was looking after them properly. One of her helpers, a small green chirruped, the sound rippling through the group. After looking back and nodding to them, Ostarath turned back to her basket and carefully picked it up in her teeth. We've got to move on before anyone else finds us. With an echoing laugh the green darted out of the Firestone Store to her next hiding spot.

Alex - Ostarath arrived at the Feeding Pens just as Alex did. The green seemed quite cheerful even though she had been found again almost immediately. Walking over to the rider she placed the basket in front of Alex and waited for her to make her choice. That was why she was here right?

Robin - The Dining Hall was busy as ever, but lacking an equally busy green.

Cyrille - The Hatching Cavern was a peaceful place. A peaceful place without a green.

Alexandra and Green Rumteath

"Well hello!" Alex greeted, pleased to make a successful goray. She carefully examined the basket thoughtfully, looking each egg over as she hummed.

What size egg do you desire, Rumteathlove? Alex asked the mopey dragon as she waited for the healers to fginish. The burst of delight meant the green was doine, and ready, responding swiftly.

Big! Abd shiny! came the dragon's eager response. Alex hummed again, then motioned to 21.

"That one looks good to me!" She said gently. Tricksy, yes. Mean, no -- despiter hearing her dragon scrambling to catch up. Rumteath wanted that baskety!

[n]Robin

Robin collected a meat roll, eating thoughtfuilly as she walked through Fort. Finally, the candidate decided to walk for rge laqkeside. Collecting a couple more meatrolls, Robin decided a nice short picnic was due, if nothing else, before continuing -- if the green wasn't there. No reason not to make things pleasant!

Cyrille

The brunette walked along thoughtfully, humming a song thoughtfully as her fingers twitched t the song, looking around as she made way to explore the star stones for herself. No reason not to keep looking for the green -- and her sister too!

Dartani had been lazily practicing her guitar in the sun shine when it all started. First she hadn't noticed anything particular, people and dragons strolling around like they do nearly every day. What started as a few turned into a steady stream, some stern with determination while others laughing and frolicking. Interest piqued she had to ask what was going on, a young green dragon hiding and giving out firelizard eggs? How bizarre, what a story! It was something she wanted to write about, and how better to do so then to live and experience it herself!

Now the harper was excited! She was still new to the Weyr so wasn't that good at telling dragons apart, there were a lot of growing greens and had no idea which one was Ostarath. Maybe she would swing by the Dining Hall and ask some questions

Ostarath waited politely for Alexandra to select her egg. Almost ten had been taken now. There were still lots and lots for her to find homes for though. Once the rider had made her choice Ostarath scooped the basket back up into her mouth, nodded to Alex, and set off for her new hiding place.

Robin - Ostarath once again found there were already people at her next hiding place. Maybe there were too many people looking for her now. That could be problematic. Either way the candidate in front of her had succeeded in finding her, so she still got her prize. Placing the basket down in front of Robin the green waited for her to make a choice.

Cyrille - The Star Stones had seen a lot of footfall, but none of it was Ostarath's.

Earisa

Dartani - The Dining Hall had been consistently busy through the day, and when Dartani visited was no exception. However, there was no sign of Ostarath among the crowds.
