LOL, i know i'm going to go down in flames for this, but.....When they first came out I was like "LAME!" And then my bf took me to a concert where FOB was playing, and since we didn't like them, and because it was 10:00 at night, we walked out. And then I heard "Dance, Dance" and fell madly in love with Pete. yeah. I started digging into their older stuff and liked it. Now, I buy all those crappy teeny-weenie magazines just because of the FOB pics. I even bought Pete's book! Very confusing mad I try to get the deeper meanings of the songs, but I'm not that smart.

Well, at first i liked other bands like MAE, My Chemical Romance, All-American Rejects, etc. So at first my friend told me about them, as i usually was [ignorant] and was like [noooooooo AAR & MAE are like soooooo much better] and then but as i usually do, i tried Fall out Boy for a try, and borrowed FUCT from my friend. After listening i cant stop and i love it.... No stopping now wink biggrin

Mine's the reverse.

I began liking Fall Out Boy a lil' bit when the video for "Sugar We're Going Down" came on C4 (NZ music channel). But I thought they were kinda.... Flaky at first. Then Dance Dance came out and I fell in love with their music. Dance Dance was literally a song you could dance to, and listen to when chilling. Not alot of songs in my book can make me do both. So I went out and Bought FUTCT, and luffed all the songs heart

Then I began liking MCR, AAR etc etc

Well, I might as well share here, too.
I was on Yahoo! Music...
No, rewind a bit.
This one guy, I knew him from a pollwhore guild. Well, he and some of his friends teamed up and made their own pollwhore guild, and this one guy, the previously mentioned one, listened to Fall Out Boy a lot (and made polls about it, because that's what you do in pollwhore guilds), and we had similar musical tastes.
So then I was on Yahoo! music watching music videos the size of a saltine cracker, and it was giving me loads and loads of crap. But then! Sugar, We're Goin' Down came on. I was just about to skip through it but I thought "Wait a minute, what's-his-face listens to Fall Out Boy. Eh, I guess I'll sit through it. But if I don't like it by the time the first chorus comes around, I'm skipping it."
So I sat through it.
And I was kind like "...
...
...
...
Wooooow~!"
(Which is the first sound I make when I'm really really impressed by something. It sounds like a cross between a cat meowing and a fangirl squeal. Doesn't happen very often, mostly with music, and it's sort of a sign that I HAVE to listen to this band.)
Then I go to the Fall Out Boy artist page, listen to Dead On Arrival.
Same "Wooooow~!".
Now, it just so happened that all that went down when I was supposed to be packing to go to my mom's house, from Dad's.
So I suck up to my dad and get him to take me CD shopping, and I impulse buy Take This To Your Grave, and From Under The Cork Tree.
Quickest obsession start ever-- One hour.

I ended up being captain of that pollwhore guild, though. xD

my sisters boyfriend listened to thier song sugar were goin down, and my sister sang it all of the time. i thought it sounded cool, but my sister is a terrible singer. one night i was listening to my music channel, and they played it. i really loved it. i picked up the words the 1st time i heard it. sooner i heard more songs, and now i have all of thier cd's.

i heard some of their earlier music and loved it but i didnt know who they were at the time so later i found out whi they were and i ove them and i went to the concert w hawethorne heights from first to last all american rejects and it was so freaking awesome!!!!!!!

I was up late one night (due to insomnia) and I was watch MTV because they play this show called All Things Rock. They show music videos. I luff that show. Well, I first saw Sugar, We're Goin Down and thought the music was weird, but Patrick was UBER CUTE! (Still think he is! ^-^) So I watched it. I saw the "lick-lick-salute" done by none other than Pete Wentz!!.. He's not really THAT cute.. Not as cute as PATRICK~<3!!.. Well, that night I also saw Ohio is for Lovers by Hawthorne Heights. The next night I watched again. I watched it over and over until I had the song memorized.. Then I bought their CD.. I've been in love with them (AND PATRICK STUMP!!~<3) since!

If you read all this.. I luff you. You rule!

well i liked them when sugar were goin down came out, but then i wasent as obessed. later on when they made a video for a litttle less... i saw the video and herd the song, i got so addicted to it, i'd play it like 24/7, and then i decided to buy under a cork tree to see if i liked them, i baught it and then i listened to the CD, i loved like all of their songs. so then i started getting infromation on them. and then became obessed.

i heard grand theft autumn when that song first came out then i bought their under the cork tree then some other of their cds and then i saw them in concert w ,hawthorne heights, from first to last ,all american rejects

and they freaking rocked!

Well..... Let me tried to remember..(think..think..) Oh yeah, I remember that my friend let me listen to their song on Ipod. But I don't know who sing that song until he told me that it was Fall out boy. The next two or three weeks, he made a burn cd of their song. I began to listen to it and I started to like their song even more. Heck yeah I am still listening to their song right now.

i kept seeing those little 100 x 100 icon thingys with FOB lyrics so i did a random search in my music downloading program and downloaded the top two rated songs which at the time was sugar we're going down and grand theft autumn and i loved them and eventually downloaded more and then went out to buy the albums
