I am aligned with Earth, Fire, Water, Air, and Spirit. It gets terribly confusing at times. However it also gives me a great deal of self control by deciding which element at the time I would concentrate on and to do so with the utmost devotion for that time. Elements are very enlightening and are good for gaining practice, control,and time with your own natural magic.

Sometimes I meditate outside, in the woods, when dealing with Earth. Would that perhaps help? I feel like being connectied with the Earth when I do is much easier than sitting on my living room floor or couch.

i have trouble using earth as well

I did a guided meditation to the Northen Watchtower, and that's definitely helped, but it's still the element that I find hardest to identify with.
