We've had quite a few comments on this subject. I think in the end it's really up to you what you think. Personally I think Dranzer's male and Black Dranzer's female. No deep reason really I think think that way.

If I rememeber rightly (someone else said it i'm just quoting here) that in the anime (undubed of couse) all the bitbeasts are given male names. But don't quote me on that.
